Recently went to Chalkboard and had the pleasure of Eric being our server. He was spot on with all of his suggestions even to the whiskey in my Old Fashioned. The froie gras was amazing as well as the cheese board. My scallops had a perfect sear and duck was great as well. Only draw back was the cut of steak. Overall, loved the ambiance, the food and most important our service. Thank you, Eric, for making our evening truly enjoyable. MoreOpenTable Diner -
My wife and I both truly enjoyed the experience of enjoying Valentine’s Day evening in a restaurant nestled at the base of my favorite museum. Philbrook is awesome. It’s awesome for its famous art work collection and to me it’s awesome to think that this huge museum was at one time the home of historical figures of the US petroleum industry. The food was a five course meal and delicious. Wine pairings were available (which my wife was very fond of). As we were the last of the restaurants patrons for the very busy day the staff seemed to have been just a tad more laid back. They were great servers, and our only criticism could be that it took a bit longer of a wait to get our check. But, it was such an otherwise positive experience that it certainly didn’t cast a shadow on a truly great evening. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Modern deco restaurant and top floor bar with skyline view in new, sleek Hotel Indigo. Authentic menu with time-tested favorites from experienced Tulsa Chef Kevin Kihle, plus locally sourced ingredients. Our table of four started with meat and cheese sampler board, which proved more than filling as the women settled on fresh greens salads for main course, while one fellow chose the pot roast, served with mashed potatoes and veggies in rich broth, and the other selected homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and homemade cold slaw. Our local newspaper food writer had recently given Prospect Local Kitchen his highest rating, and we wanted to check it out for ourselves. We were very pleased with our fine service and superb meal presentation, given that Sir Elton John was in town for his farewell tour, and the hotel was packed with fans. Prospect Bar on the 6th Floor enjoys a bird's eye view of Tulsa's downtown, from Diller baseball park to the many Church steeples. Free off-street parking for locals. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Tulsa's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
Like the locally popular sweet potato French fries, Tulsa offers a mix of trendy taste and down-home comfort. The downtown area has been revitalized into the fashionable Brady Arts District complete with boutiques, restaurants, bars, galleries, museums, parks and venues for live music. While these are often characteristics of much larger cities, Tulsa still retains its small-town appeal. Dining in Tulsa is representative of the contemporary-meets-homey atmosphere as well. Sushi, Mediterranean food, Italian fine dining and stylish coffee shops are intermixed with laid-back Oklahoma barbecue joints. Some of the town's best diners serve Southern classics like chicken-fried steak, biscuits-and-gravy or fried catfish.
