I’ll talk about the positive, food was delicious, presentation was superb, it’s a full sensory experience. Hi oh see a whole block of ice, fire, you smell the lovely wagyu beef sizzling. Dessert was delicious. I tried the black sesame seed ice cream for the first time and I’m glad I did. It’s now my new favorite. It’s pricey but food is fresh and everything is expensive now anyways. The cocktail I got was perfect mix, not too sweet and refreshing. The place was busy so we had to wait a little bit for our server at times but she was very helpful, knowledgable and pleasant. The place was also difficult to find because there was no sign in the door, just a symbol.

I don’t understand the reviews on this place. UNI and BLUE RIBBON are way Better for starters. I thought the sushi was not good maybe the cooked food was better but i came for the sushi.

The omakase is NOT worth it. You can go to places like Oya and Umami for cheaper omakase that still tastes 100x better. Do NOT get the truffle course either. They do not gaf about pairing the truffle or even the quality of the truffle. They'll place a mound of black truffle on a dish that does not go with it. They'll even put it on your vanilla ice cream and that tastes absolutely disgusting. Their first course in omakase with the salmon and fried scallions is the only real good dish. This place is absolutely not worth the money.

I’ve been to Oishii a number of times over the years. I first had sushi in 1980. Since then I’ve enjoyed it in the finest restaurants all over the world, including many times in Tokyo and Osaka. I travelled down from the North Shore just for this special meal with my nephew. The prices are outrageous. Servings are pitifully small, however visually beautiful. We all left there hungry because although I could afford to eat more, I felt taken advantage of. Their attitude is quite pretentious. I will never go there again.

Based on the prices I expected it to knock my socks off but it wasn’t really close to the best sushi I’ve had. Definitely overpriced with pretty subpar service. And $20+ for a Tito’s cocktail seems a bit absurd, though it tasted very unique.

Food is phenomenal! Staff are professional, timely, and knowledgeable. The aesthetic is clean and classy. Obviously pricy, but definitely worth it if you can afford it. We ordered a number of appetizers, and they were all amazing. Best ikura ever! The A5 Wagyu is truly sublime as they say! And I didn’t know deserts could look so good! And they definitely tasted good! I will have to go back here eventually.

Creative and amazing presentation. The fish was generally good, although not as good as I was expecting. My biggest complaint was that the omakase included too much "filler". A 9-course omakase included a dessert course, a cooked wagyu beef course, a cooked chilean sea bass course, and a cooked crab course. Only 5 of the courses were raw fish. Disappointing.

Oishi was a great experience. The food was great and very well thought out. We had Maki and sashimi. The rolls were unique and the fish was exceptional. Almost all the rolls had a tempura element which was a little disappointing. Still a great meal with exceptional fish.
