Chef (performer) was a little thin on entertainment value. The food was tasty and ambiance was eclectic with a mix of traditional Japanese art pix and Pokémon posters adorning most of the walls. These places tend to be a little on the pricey side cause your also paying for the experience. Groupon made it reasonable.

The food was not prepared as well as normally.
My wife and I are fans but for this visit the eice, noodles and vegetables all lacked the normal flavor.

The restaurant is unique in that it offers regular seating, hibachi seating, and there are tables with grills as well as Japanese kneeling tables. Food was excellent, but ambiance noisy and a bit loud. I recommend for family dining, good value, service was great when the server was around. We had to keep waiting for our server and just resorted to asking another server to call ours to the table. I think they may have been understaffed that day, it was a holiday. I'd be willing to return and give it another try.

So my husband and myself were visiting Orlando, Florida. We wanted some place to go have our 2 year anniversary dinner. I searched through Groupon to see what deals were out there to try something new in Orlando. We see the coupon for this restaurant and decide we want to try it cause it look like it would be fun. So I place a reservation for our 2 year anniversary and special instruct this on the reservation. We arrive to the restaurant and maybe waited 10 mins to be seated which I was ok with cause we were a few mins late. It was a nice little restaurant had a few nice features to offer. Now, here is the kicker to the situation of the night and I still made the best of it but here we go. So as I am waiting to be sat. An older lady is using a black linen and windex to clean the tables, she should have been using sanitizing water on the tables where people eat. Then I took the waiteress more than 20 minutes to get our drink order. We finally get our drinks and place our order. We spend a total 2 hours and 45 mins in the restaurant. The only really decent part was the chef who cooked our food his name started with an N. oh and never offered us desert for our anniversary and our first time in the location. So it was very mixed emotions but since I'm a waitress myself I try to give benefit of the doubt. But this was all over the place. Even as I watch other guest try to be assisted they are confused on what to do cause the staff is confused themselves.

The hostess was not the friendliest person, apparently having a bad day. Chef seemed new not the usually entertaining job. Food good but not great. Seating too close, had elbow hitting me and my plate all evening. Restaurant not the cleanest, obvious poor standards and management. Grill not as clean as other Japanese restaurant standards, floors dirty, the worst was the men's restroom. Don't think it was cleaned for a while, health department??? We will not return.

This place is weird.... more of a fusion menu. Anyway this has to be the worst Sushi I have had in a while...I mean just gross. Too much rice, chunks of fish, warm ....ugh just gross. Tried tuna. Salmon, veggie, all just not fresh. Also tried the seared tuna app, tasted like kerosene...gross . For my main I had the steak, the waygu one....wow...it was like a thin fatty frozen burger patty that again tasted like kerosene from there grill. This place was awful and we through most of it out...I will say the service was good though, nice guy.

The restaurant is big and has a lot of seating options. The service was great and the food was very good. We had the Lover's combo and it was a good deal. It includes beef filet, scallops, shrimp and lobster tail.

We found this restaurant through Travelzoo. It was a great value. The food was good and the service was great. I had the chicken and fillet. The chicken was moist and the fillet was cooked perfectly.

Soup was bad, chef wasn't very personable, and the New York Strip and Shrimp needed to have its fat and tails trimmed. Noodles were served very late as well.

Worst dining experience in my life. Made a reservation for hibachi and was told they wouldn't do it for us. After being seated we waited for 30 mins to have our order taken. Then another hour to have it brought out. We were told they were busy yet no one was in the restaurant. When the food did come out it tasted old and cold. The waitress was rude and didn't seem to care about our service at all. Will never recommend.

Had reservation for hibachi at 3:45, got there was told no hibachi until 4. Then seated us waited for others to join they called had reservation for 4:30. Food was very bland, small portions compared to other Japanese hibachi dinners. Had a Groupon still was overpriced for what we had. I live local will not go back or recommend . Much better choices in Orlando area for hibachi food.

The young female at the door was not warm at all, so that set the tone. She didn't let me finish my sentence stating I had a reservation and sat us down. I then approached her and asked if she noted we had a reservation through open table, said she would check, returned stating she did but it still does not reflect.

This was the worst hibachi I've ever been to. The food was bland, the chef was boring - I don't think he said two words! We honestly didn't even eat. There was a big group of people with a different chef who appeared to be having a ball, so we decided to leave and speak with the manager over the phone. He was so unprofessional it was like being on candid camera. Couldn't believe the things this guy was saying - my husband almost turned the car around to go back to speak to this person face to face! Will NEVER give this place once cent of my $ again.

We scheduled to be there at 5:15PM - very early for a dinner date but we wanted to return home early. We were seated quickly and waited a few minutes to see if more would join us at the hibachi grill for 8. Being very early no ne came.
We were served an excellent lobster, shrimp, scallops and sirloin dinner with all the rice and vegetables we could eat! Took a lot home.
My wife and I had a great time and would go again.

Tried out this place and will not be back. We were seated at the table for over 20 minutes before the server even came to get our drink orders. A table sat down about 30 minutes after we did and they got all of their service very quick. Had a 7:15 reservation and did not eat until well after 8:30. It was a very slow process and the food was not very good.

Food was absolutely delicious. We did a hibachi dinner for 2, and it was more tha enough food. Our hibachi chef didn't do any tricks for us, but when he did the next table he did. Kinda a bummer. Definitely will go back though. Food was exceptionally good.

I was disappointed because it appeared as if they didn't give us good service because we had a goupon coupon also they took so long to set us and we got there later in the day about 9:50 and they closed at 10. It was almost 10 and we weren't even seated yet so we went to a different Hibatche and we were seated right away. I can't tell you about the food or restaurant because we didn't make it in to eat. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It looked nice from the outside

The hibachi was fun and delicious. The sushi appertizers were also fresh and delicious. In our group we had chix, lobster, steak, shrimp, and tuna hibachi and all was great. Plus, they give both fried rice and noodles to every hibachi eater, which most places do not. Their portions were very generous. The only drawback was that our chef was not very entertaining and only did one or two of the standard tricks (onion volcano) and nothing else (no egg stunts, shrimp tricks, veggie throws, sake squirts, etc). The chef before him at another table was very entertaining and did many tricks so we were disappointed with this important part of our meal. The entertainment is part of the event! However, it does not take away from the delicious food he cooked. The waitress was very kind to bring out two ice creams with candles for our mother and daughter birthday. If we had had the entertaining chef it would have been 5 stars on everything.

We were visiting from Canada and had a hankering for sushi, especially my young girls. The sushi was decent, some really nice specialty rolls. However, the waiters never brought my daughter's salmon roll and my wife's beef teryaki was cold. We chose the place because it was fairly close to the hotel and the menu seemed decently broad. Overall we were a bit underwhelmed by the experience, but we might give it another chance if we make it to Orlando again.
