Food and service are excellent!
Value is good, except for the wine and the cauliflower dish. Cauliflower is very good, but $17 is very high for this dish. The wine by the glass options are limited and not anything special, so $16 a glass seemed high.
The food was amazing especially the Wagyu seared at the table.
Food was generally good, cocktails were very good
Food was good and interesting. Only complaint would be that we were sitting indoor table and it was pretty hot.
Food was fantastic as always. The outdoor area with the air conditioners was nice albeit a bit spartan.
I went back after a few years and it was as good as I remembered but more expensive!
Really incredible food. Recommend the chilled lobster ramen, Oiji bowl, ssam platter, foie gras
One of the best dining experience I have had so far. The young octopus was bomb
Amazing food and incredible staff! Highly recommended. Flavors are spot on, and the presentation is very sophisticated & thoughtful. Will definitely come back for more.
Amazing food and service!
Delightful beautiful food in a beautiful space and wonderful staff
Outstanding an unique food. We ate in a closed booth on the sidewalk (June 21; end of pandemic). Fantastically crafted dishes with attentive and professional service.
The food, as always, was delicious. The service not so much. We appreciate the 2 hour limit, but we were quite rudely informed that they were "concerned" about our table because we hadn't left yet (we had literally just paid and still had 15 minutes left on the clock). If you need your guests to leave, I am sure there are other more polite and friendly ways of letting them know instead of rudely telling them that you are "concerned". Or tell them that they have 1 hour and 45 minutes instead of 2 hours.
Amazing food. Great service. Will return!
Service and food was great!
Food is excellent and unique. It was my second time there and it was equally good as the first.
Excellent food, Excellent service. All around great time. Excited to what they do with the new space.
the outside "rooms" are fantastic- they allowed for quiet safe spacing, great service, and great food.
Sooo good. A little new age Korean but very well done
First time and I brought someone from out of town. I felt the pressure to find an impressive restaurant. Did not disappoint. Food was AMAZING. Service was impeccable.Highly recommend the mushroom salad, cauliflower, and octopus. Each dish had so many layers of interesting flavors. I will be back!!!
incredible experience, such unique dishes
Great food great vibe highly recommended
Waitstaff were extremely welcoming and accommodating! Ambience is terrific and the menu is really interesting. I definitely plan to return.
Outstanding food, great cocktails, friendly service. This is one of the best restaurants in NYC.
we read the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. Excellent food and top notch service. The wait staff couldn’t be nicer especially considering they had to run through the rain to bring us our food. their outdoor pods were perfect on a cold rainy day... Would definitely recommend.
The food and service were great, but the outdoor dining in this hot weather is a disaster. Sitting inside the little room is like sitting in a sauna room...and you would need to drink lots of water to stay hydrated
The food was unbelievable. Everything tasted
Amazing food and drinks! Service took a REALLY long time though
Amazing food and atmosphere. Brian and his team have pulled off great tasting korean food
One of the best dinners we’ve had in a while. Every course we ordered was absolutely delicious. It’s family style meals so you get to try a plethora of the menu. Not one meal disappointed.
The servers at this restaurant were excellent. The food was tasty, but overpriced for the portions. Two lamb chops were $58! I would recommend this place for 2 people but not groups. The portions are too small to share in groups (you would only get a little bite of each dish) and we ordered more than the amount that came recommended for our number.
Food was creative and very well executed. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food.
The food was so good!! Much more fun and delicious and upscale than I last remembered.
Their bone marrow amazing. Wagyu special amazing. Lamb special amazing. Mushroom salad amazing. Oiji bowl very good but room for improvement (serving in proper sized bowl, ingredients going back to ebi instead of prawn)
We LOVED our food here! the next night I dined at The Fulton and honestly we ate better here: the noodle dish was even "a copy". My "gourmet" friends were very satisfied, everything had wonderful forward thinking flavors. The interior is elegant however due to the small size and being near the bar the cocktail shaker was a constant noise in our experience. The server seemed a bit "put upon" but I guess they are all that way now with covid. We surely recommend and be back.
The food was excellent and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Nothing but good things to say about this spot.
Expensive, but delicious. They were out of uni which was a bummer, but it was still good! For the money, I think it's a solid 7/10.
The uni for wagyu dish is a little bit fishy but the uni for Oiji bowl is fresh and tasty. Everything is awesome, will come back again and again!! The dessert is my all time favorite, must try!!
Brillant food, very friendly and knowledgeable service. Our first time at Oiji but we will be back soon. Now one of our clear favorites in the East Village.
Very elegant, nice cooking with a pleasant atmosphere and kind service. No surprises since 3 years. It is always a pleasure to go.
The food is unlike the food at any other restaurant. The freshness and quality set a very high bar. Not only are the dishes inventive, they actually work! The service is friendly and relaxed but highly efficient. This is one of our go-to restaurants and we are never disappointed, always thrilled.
