Was there for an Easter Sunday Celebration....and made the reservation 2 weeks prior...apparently they wanted a "re-confirmation" that we were coming, but we never got that phone call....we were a small party of 5 that were delayed 10 minutes at an Easter Sunday Church service and because we were 10 minutes late they made us sit outside in a very windy, noisy veranda....DESPITE THE FACT that there was PLENTY of inside seating which is what we had requested.... and a party of 5 is VERY easy to accommodate. There were many INSIDE tables available....but the excuse was that if any other reservation showed up that we would be "taking their space" (!!!!) They promised if any of the 1:30 reservations did not show up that they would "allow" us to come back inside (they NEVER did, even though there were PLENTY of inside open tables throughout the time we were there....we CHECKED). This place is OVER-PRICED, extremely UNFRIENDLY and absolutely the LAST time we will ever go there. I guess they are not hurting for the $160.00 tab that we put down that day to give service, a smile and......perhaps an inside table.
Very disappointing food and some items overpriced. Many people in bar, no one but us in dining room.
We were seated immediately. Wait staff was very good. Food was a little pricey, but portions were good sized. I will go back to this restaurant.
Food is always great. Good variety and great value for the money. Excellent craft beer selection and the staff is always attentive and excellent.
Great place for a quick bite - Google Maps had us running around in circles, but eventually found the place. Wonderful view of the golf greens.
We love Melissa she is a wonderful server and really on the ball. Cant imagine anyone surpassing her in service or personality. Me and my boyfriend just love her.
Fun place,good food,great service,respectable prices
Excellent catch up with former co-workers....great food, easy conversation and fair prices
They keep changing the menu, and it's frustrating to go with the intention of ordering something to find it's no longer on the menu. I'm quite bored with this restaurant now. They changed the decor (and I don't like it), and with the menu always changing, I'm not enthused with Oh'Brians anymore. It's good, but just not as good as it was in the past.
Good food good times as usual. Fresh burgers and drinks.
We were looking for a brunch place on Sunday and stumbled across this place on OpenTable. We were all swayed by the 'grilled pineapple french toast' on the menu on opentable so we went to give it a try. Sadly to start, no grilled pineapple french toast. There was only one waitress for the entire place it seemed so service was quite slow. The food itself was OK -- two people got french toast with strawberries and chocolate whip cream which they really liked. I got the belgium waffles which were OK, nothing special but was a large portion. our 4th party member got the breakfast burrito, which didn't come with any salsa as mentioned on the menu so he found it quite bland. My husband ordered a coffee which took about 10 minutes to get and the waitress said she'd be back with milk which we never got. We ordered one side of bacon and one side of the potatoes with pork roll and cheese. We got served (and charged) for two sides of bacon and when we inquired about the potatoes we ordered, the waitress brought them out a few minutes later-- but they were just potatoes -- missing everything they were supposed to be covered with (and what would've made up the $8 value in them). While the french toast was good from what we tasted, everything else left a pretty sour taste from the menu items not including much of they said they would and the poor service I don't think we'll find ourselves returning anytime soon.
We went again on thursday and had such wonderful service. This is the obriens I know and love.
We usually get wonderful service at this place. but for some reason it took a really long time to take our order and also to get our drinks.. I would understand this on a sunday nite if the bar was croweded but there really werent any people there. As I said before the food was great and really enjoy it there but the service this time was not good...
Good local pub for a burger & a beer
Frequently go to Oh' Brian's with our kids. it is EXTREMELY kid friendly with many options for them for food as well as an attached miniature golf course. They do have occasional live music which can be overwhelming and will quickly drown out conversation. The food is always well prepared and they do offer specials which can vary. Pricing is very reasonable. Both the bar and the restaurant do get very busy which can cause delays in service. This will definitely remain one of our favorites to go to with the children.
The food was better than I expected for bar-type fare. We had pierogies and mushrooms for starters and they were fantastic! I had fish and chips which were authentic. There were four big pieces of batter dipped cod and a basket of chips. My wife had mac and cheese which was enough for two meals. Definitely would recommend this place.
The service was great and the food was really good.
Too noisy for Sunday Brunch. Don't like screaming across table to talk. The poor waitress was overloaded, so food was long in coming. I would go back at better time and have in the past.
On a golf course, the window views are of the waterfalls in the miniature golf section which is great family fun. In addition to the restaurant, you can order pizza, too. We went for brunch. The menu was small but with interesting combos such as French Toast with pineapple. The heuvos rancheros though had almost no salsa on them. Not very spicy. The third dish we ordered was corned beef hash and was much enjoyed. It was quite noisy once the football fans got there so it is not a place for quiet conversation. It's really a sports bar with a large selection of beers.
Everyone was wonderful except for our waitress. She took our appetizer order. After about 25 min came and said they were out of fondue. So my friend who ordered the fondue ended up getting a salad since we already had our appetizers. We ordered a pitcher of sangria but was served with no glasses. After waiting a long time we stuck straws in the pitcher. Finally flagged down a different waiter who brought us beer glasses. Then he came back with wine glasses. All this time our waitress never came to the table. Then we order a flight of beer and waitress comes back that they are out of a few that we ordered. It really was not that crowded.
As usual it was a great experience. Food and as delicious and service was good. Would recommend restaurant.
The best juicy burgers around New Jersey . Very nice patio seating We will be back
Menu lacked diversity, food was mostly bland, however service was great
Have dined Oh' Brain's more than five times and I am never disappointed. I always try something different and the menu changes every one and a while. Great eatery.
Always a good place for a quality burger. Tried the loaded tots this time. Definitely recommend them.
Always a great beer list.
The restaurant is a hidden gem! Very nice ambiance and the service was great. They weren't too busy so my party and I were seated quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends for future brunch getogethers.
The short rib sandwich is fantastic. Very tender & tasty. The wedge salad is also not to be missed. Our server Lauren was exceptional. She was very attentive to our needs without being over solicitous.
Once again we had a fabulous time. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and had burgers and salads. We were next to mini golf and watched the sunset. A wonderful way to enjoy a summer evening
Server was pleasant but food delivery was very slow. Did not seem to be as clean as in the past. "Clean" plates put on table still had small pieces of food caked on them that hadn't come off during cleaning. Fish was very watery for some reason. It must have been an "off night" in the kitchen as have not had a problem in the past. They have a great beer list.
Had a great time service is as usual very slow but it gives you time to unwind and relax. Good was great they cook the burgers just right.
As usual everything was delicious. The only complaint was the watermelon margarita was too tart, but they were willing to remake.
It was a nice surprise to find a kid friendly eatery so close to home.. It was casual and delicious.. Definitely pleased everyone in my family, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and easy going atmosphere..
The BBQ sandwich was large enough for 2. The fries were the freshest I have ever eaten. The pizza my husband ordered was superb!
With how often this place had turned over in the last I didn't know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were good and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Spicy Pineapple burger! They even actually cook the burgers to the doneness you request unlike almost everywhere else. Can't wait to go back.
The macaroni and cheese is amazing. Very good assortment of draft beers to choose from. We love the fried calamari as well as the wings. Service is prompt and friendly.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I went for their brunch, but I would like to go back for lunch and also dinner. Their pizzas look very good. The beer selection was also great with some local breweries represented. My favorite was the Rinn Duin Ichabod's Return Brown Ale that they had on tap!
The apps were tasty, pierogies and grilled wings. The entrees were on both sides of the spectrum: shepard's pie was a nice pick, but the same cannot be said for the fish and chips. The cod was cooked nicely, but the batter and tartar sauce was absolutely bland. I'd give it another shot, but stay away from the fish and chips!
The draft beers were on point, I'm guessing they clean the lines regularly.
The server was very nice and attentive, even if she didn't know much about her beer selection.
I've gone to this restaurant several times and this by far was my worst experience! The food and atmosphere were good. It was more the service. Our server kept on coming to our table to ask if we needed anything, every 7-10 mins throught the entier evening! He asked how things were and if we needed something about 3 times during our appetizer course and possibly 4 or more times during our main course!! Whilst I appreciate attentive service, this was pestering. Our conversations were constantly being interrupted and as a group of mothers at dinner, we wanted the opportunity to chat without our kids interupting us, instead we had this server. Then when it was time to pay the check, we all figured out what we owed with tax and tip and he refused to run each of our cards for that total amount. Instead he asked us to figure out what we owed and then add tax and tip later! So we did that, then he informed us we came up short by $15! Long story short, this went on for about 25 mins!! Who knew that paying a check would be such an involved process and one that required the customer to do all the calculations! This was so ridiculous that I left with a bad taste in my mouth about this place.
but it is a cute little find, we sat outside, which was very nice. I'd recommend, the drink list was decent, the food was fairly good for the price point.
The kitchen didn't get my order correct, but still, the food was decent. I'd definitely go back here for a change of pace :)
Good Food and good atmosphere, friendly wait staff, good beer selection
