Great food just like OGGI South Charlotte, but the wait and bar service at the Music Factory location leaves something to be desired. On a positive note, the Music Factory location isn't nearly as loud as OGGI's South Charlotte, but I don't know that I would eat at this location again. Oh, and if you plan to go to either location, be sure to order the Chicken Parmesan, it's out of this world delicious!

Stopped in on a Wednesday night with no shows going on. We were the only ones in the whole place at 6:45. Service was great, not just because we were the only guests. Food was good.

The food was good, I would say about average for a mid/upper end Italian place. I thought it was a little overpriced, but it was good for a 'hot spot' that is the music factory. However, the decor was odd. It wanted to be a hip destination, but was clearly attractive to the 'thinks-I'm-still-25-crowd." The food was good, but I'd prefer Vivace in mid-town for the same type food, it was not crowded at all (that's OK, but odd for 7:00 on a Friday night), and the decor was trying to hard. The service was good. I think if it was the same food, with a more relaxed feel, it would be more attractive and I'd go back.

We consider ourselves food hobbyists at some level and have visited several restaurants around the Charlotte area and have found ourselves a new favorite place. From the decor and ambiance, to the top notch service, to the amazing menu and food, they have hit the home run. We would highly recommend Oggi.

The short review: very good, would recommend. The details: This was our first time to Oggi and did not get off to a great start. They appeared to be short staffed. We waited at the bar until 15 minutes after our reservation time and while there had to wait far too long to even order drinks. Once we were seated, no one came over to serve our table for perhaps 10 minutes. At this point the manager/owner came to the table and took things in hand. He worked our table as waiter, busboy and bar tender. He ran like crazy but never made us feel rushed. Great recommendations for ordering diner. Then the food started to arrive and WOW! Spicy mussels had a great smoky flavor and just the right amount of kick. The eggplant parm was a huge hit. All of the entrees were excellent. Our fiends spend a lot of time in Italy and swear the risotto rivaled the best they've had in Italy. We were too stuffed to try dessert but this options looked amazing. We will definitely return

First off, walking in, the decor was horrible. I felt like I was walking into the living room of an early 80's David Bowie. On certain occasions this might be very cool, but when going to dinner for an upscale date at an Italian restaurant, it was not appealing in the least bit. Zebra print fixtures, pearlescent pillars taken from the little mermaid, and beige leather couches adorned with fluffy pillows is not the decor for a nice restaurant. Furthermore, there were only 2 visible staff members, each of whom seemed unknowledgeable and did not provide the upscale service I was expecting. The one making our drinks did not even have enough bar knowledge to make a simple Mai tai. Most importantly however is the food. And while certain offerings were very good (mainly their homemade crab stuffed ravioli) other options tasted like microwaved junk I could buy at Walmart (including their chicken Parmesan). I would never go to this restaurant again and I am honestly confused as to how it remains in business. I would rather go to Olive Garden or Carabbas than Oggi. At least the food is worth the price they are charging at those places. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied and feel as though my date was ruined because of this lackluster establishment.

Had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make the experience extremely enjoyable. The food was great and the drinks and wine list were too.
