An Ofrenda, in Spanish, is an offering, a gift. At their cozy West Village space, owner Jorge Guzman and chef Mario Hernandez offer their unique interpretation of classic Mexican cuisine with an innovative cocktail menu of tequila-based drinks.

I am a west coast native and it’s hard to find decent Mexican cuisine in the city. Ofrenda represented well! I enjoyed the authentic tacos, queso was delicious and drinks were yummy. Outdoor seating was warm enough. Restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend it! Portions are a small, just FYI. The tacos come with 2, slightly larger street tacos.
The food was extremely good, and the servers were great. The outdoor space was cold in spots, but we got a good table eventually--

Hadn't been here in two years and this place is still and will always be such a treat. I always come for the Happy Hour. The staff was attentive and the food is SO YUMMY, we had fish tacos, shrimp tostados and a quesadilla with mushrooms. I'm never disappointed at this place, the margaritas were good too, I had a passion fruit and a prickly pear one. The waitstaff is also very friendly and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Dining outside was just as lovely as we had heat lamps, plexi-glass partitions and it was all very safe and comfortable.

Great happy hour! Came here recently and had a great time. Food was delicious- fish tacos, nachos, elote. Smoky jalapeño margarita was refreshing with a kick. Service was super fast and they took great precautions due to

We had a blast at Ofrenda. We were seated right away. The server was super nice and AMAZING! He was funny and attentive. We got the sangria pitcher, guacamole and tacos! Everything was delicious! When we were about to leave they were closing so the server offered complimentary tequila shots! It was perfect. I would definitely come to this place again when I’m in NYC!
Chicken Quesadilla is amazing! The margaritas are delicious!
First time I have been back since they opened outdoor seating and it was excellent as it has always been....to my surprise and delight, they still offered the happy hour specials which are delicious...my favorite are the nachos and fish tacos along with their margaritas...this restaurant is a favorite of mine and worth it every time.
