Brought the food to table but forgot the flavors in the kitchen. Bland and uninteresting.
I was very pleasantly surprised: the food was absolutely delicious. The place itself did not look all that flash, the menu were worn out - but the food! Makes you forget everything else, and just enjoy the experience
We ordered GNOCCHI DI CECI and ORECCHIETTE BUFALA, and it was delicious. We loved it. Their drinks were also good and our waiter was very friendly. Plus it's so cute and cozy place.
Industrial chic vibe and AMAZING food! Can't wait to go back!
A favorite spot in the city. Wonderful food and awesome service. Very cool place, especially for being close to Little Italy. Love it and can highly recommend it!
I had been once before, and everything was amazing. I got the peach caprese again and it was not as good as last time, but other than that --- outstanding!
The atmosphere is nice in terms of lighting and the cool, funky decor. The wine is overpriced, avoid any fish dishes (overcooked/bland); the chicken has a very flavorful gravy, the pastas are mostly very great. They charge for bread ($4) , but the fresh from the oven loaf is worth it. Just kind of strange that I asked for bread twice, and the second time the waiter informed me that it had to be ordered when I ALREADY ordered it from him. Not the best or most professional service.
Super fun decor with good food. The music was quite loud which was the only downfall.
Came on a Saturday night with a group of 9 people. The restaurant was very accomodating for our group size. Sadly there was torrential dounpour of rain all day so all my guests were delayed to the dinner. The restaurant reached out and let me know that they are waiting for us
When we arrived, menus were set and the cute waitress brought us waters immeditely. Had a few bottles of vino throughout the night with a few apertivo's for the table. Food was fresh and delious. Everyone left fed and happy.
Will def return and recomend!
Great ambience, and food was delicious!!!
The host did not know we had a reservation and they were doing construction inside the restaurant. They casually told us that we could stay if we wanted with drilling going on.
Very disappointed. Out of several items. Menu different than online. Service was terrible.
Good Italian food. Original ingredients. Nice service. Good cocktail list. Good also for romantic
The restaurant wasn't even open at 9:30am, not sure why it was possible to reserve for that time...
Let's get it out there: I'm biased, but like to think of my husband and I as quasi-foodies.
Bias: One of the proprietors is a dear friend from long ago. Another friend told me our friend had left our industry to pursue the dream of opening a restaurant in Little Italy and that we should stop by while in the City. We did. My husband can't stop talking about the tagliolini al prosciutto. He continued raving about it the next morning at brunch with friends in Astoria. I'm convinced he was serious that the Pappardelle al Ragu at our favorite local restaurant in Seattle is now his #2...
Other observations: Restaurant feels like a little place tucked away along the racecourse in Italy. Come as you are! Enjoy a bite and a glass of wine amongst friends or a dinner with your sposa e / o la famiglia. Great place.
Other great observations: Who needs a 12-page wine list when you have one great amarone, one great barolo, one great brunello, etc. No need to panic when the waiter hands you the wine list!
The food was OK-- the aftertaste for the two dishes we ordered-- mushroom ravioli & ricotta pancakes--was overwhelming. The server took too long to bring us some olive oil/crushed red peppers, and seemed to have his own hands full! Ambience is cute, but didn't make the taste buds happy.
A modern delicious take on Italian cuisine.
Food was average, and definitely over priced. The restaurant is small, and it looks just like the pictures. Nothing new/interesting on the menu. The service was great.
I came her for Valentine’s Day last year and it was the perfect spot for date night. The ambiance is great and the place isn’t too loud so you can hear each other talk. I got the pesto fettuccini and it was delicious!
Gnocchi was great. Would like to see more breakfast options. Pancake was rock hard
Inventive Italian in a funky downtown spot. Small glassss of wine and yummy bread.
Great food, waiter was very attentive. Nice place that also has a few bar seats and they were playing very loud music so it was hard to hear others at our table. Other than bringing the noise level down a notch it was great!
Great staff, love the ambience. They are friendly and accommodating, and the food is very good with great Italian options on the menu.
Food was great, service not so much. Maybe because they're newer so still working out the kinks.
I was already seated w/my group and my other friends were joining us and gave my name. Hostess said she couldn't find me?? Odd-- my friend found me.
Didn't give drink, food menus right away-- had to ask.
Same went for extra utensils.
We had a voucher that cut the cost significantly. The pasta was good but fairly overpriced.
Darling Place! We just happened into this tiny restaurant on a cold NYC night. The salad with grilled pineapple and buffalo mozzarella was really good as were both of our pasta dishes. It is very small and was not crowded at the time we visited. The owner greeted us and sent over a lovely teacup tiramisu. Overall a great experience.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Nolita. From the moment we walked in, the service, the ambiance and the food were all fantastic.
The staff went out of their way to make certain we were happy. They took great pride in the quality of the food from farm to table. We also loved the music, although on the louder side. I strongly recommend.
Amazing food in a beautiful welcoming atmosphere. Never disappoints
Industrial and trendy. Cool with great DJ but inconsistent food
Loved this place. The pasta wrapped in prosciutto is banging!
Sophisticated Italian fare and flawless service-it always feels magical when we dine here.
We went to celebrate the big 4-0 with a party of seven and they accommodated us. The staff was just ok which a shame because the food was very good. We asked upfront that the check NOT be presented to the entire table; instead to one point person. Even the floor manager was asked. Sadly, the check was presented to the table, very embarrassing! But wait it gets better -- the staff lost the first copy of the signed receipt, so someone else came over and asked the birthday girl to sign a second copy. It was as if they meant to embarrass us for our request? So weird. We all make mistakes, believe me, but this was just completely unacceptable. At any rate, yes good food, and we met the chef who seemed very nice. They have the space for a party of this size, but to be embarrassed like that while celebrating a special event just ruins as good time. Would recommend the food (and the wine list) but we wont' be back.
Perfect. Homemade pasta homemade desserts great staff. Fairly reasonable prices
Great food, great service. Very cute decor.
This is really a perfect restaurant! The ambiance is great and the food is delicious!
We were very impressed when we walked into the restaurant. It had a nice airy atmosphere and eclectic, fun decor. There was an awesome happy hour deal going on as well. From that point forward, however, we were disappointed. THe food left a lot to be desired.
Although food was tasty, it was too heavy for my taste. Most dishes were cooked with a cream sauce with cheese.
The chickpea gnocchi dish had a very unappealing texture and bland taste.
The server could not explain what was meant by a slow cooked egg. Overall this brunch was very disappointing
Did not get any of the appetizers we ordered. Portion size was very small, we all left hungry and ended up getting pizza half an hour later.
The waitstaff were great - very friendly and attentive. Very adorable restaurant - I definitely plan on going back.
I got the pesto pasta - it was ok. I am always disappointed by pesto so not the restaurant's fault. My friend got the gnocchi and it was really good.
We shared the tiramisu foam. Would go back for that alone.
