Delicious as usual. The waitress never asked us if we would like to order a glass of wine or cocktail. Very unusual...she read specials and walked away.

Food is always delicious, but felt that the restaurant was not prepared for a Valentines Day lunch crowd. The hostess seemed overwhelmed and barely greeted us just asked for name. We then had to wait for 20 minutes even tho we had reservations. Although the hostess had taken our names, she kept asking who was next so I'm assuming that there were several reservations at the same time and she didn't really keep track of who had come in. Once we were seated, there was still another 8-10 minute wait before someone took our drink order. Can't complain about the food though, swordfish and lobster roll were outstanding and the service was much better too. This isn't the first time I've felt that the initial part of our experience here was lacking, wish they could fix the glitches so we could give it the outstanding rating that a place with this quality of food deserves.

They were overbooked for Valentine’s Day lunch, so we had to wait for 45 minutes for our table. That was the only glitch. The food was excellent. We both had swordfish but with different preparations. Service was fine once we were seated.

Food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Awesome crab cake and Chef Salad. Loved the Valentine special desert.

However: Hostess was not very pleasant - kept us waiting while she was on the phone and then acted confused about reservation - scowling the entire time
Server was nice but quite forgetful - said she had a double shift - think she was saving her energy for later?

We received a generous gift card and decided to do lunch with friends. The fish is fresh and prepared ok. Special sauces were good. Crabcakes were very good. Desserts were the best of the meal, in particular the banana bread pudding with rum sauce. Our friend described it well—a minuscule extravagantly expensive meal. You can pay this much and get better food and more generous portions elsewhere. Very friendly service but did not live up to the reputation for us.

We are always satisfied with our meals here, and this visit was no exception. Everything was very fresh, from the raw oysters to the salads to our fish entrees. The prices are a little steep, but the quality of the food and the level of service make it worthwhile. We were there on a busy Saturday night, and we still enjoyed attentive service. A consistently good restaurant that has never disappointed us.

Off the Hook delivers excellent food, outstanding service, and a great value. The fresh oysters were phenomenal. Cassie, our server for the evening, was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and never missed a beat with the questions we had.
