Great experience-a little louder than what you would expect
Our waitress was late in having the sommelier come to our table to choose a wine. Our entrees were half eaten before he showed up,and we just chose the wine he had in hand so we did not delay any further. Very disappointing.
Restaurant used to remember that my wife is gluten free and automatically brought great gluten free rolls when we were seated. You no longer do this. It was a fantastic distinction for Off the Hook and your service. I strongly recommend you reinstate the practice. It set you apart. Now your service is good, but not distinguished from others. Clearly you can provide this personalization.
Always a great experience with great food and service at Off The Hook.
The food was incredible! Both in its preparation and how it was paired with the sauces or vegetable.
Great! Delicious food. Enjoyable experience.
I would recommend but caveat that food is definitely not worth the prices charged. It's good just way over priced.
The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Happy hour has the best value but not easy to get seating...
These guys know how to do dining right. Excellent service, great food, extensive gluten free menu for my wife, and just make you feel good about being there. Always loved their restaurant when they owned Monterrey Bay and Off the Hook is all it was except the view. Excellent place.
Fantastic food and great service. You can tell that everything is fresh. Food was cooked to perfection. The server was great and a free desert for our anniversary, nice touch.
Another typical dinner at Off the Hook...….Off the charts!! Customer from Chicago was very impressed.
Bill, our server, did a great job. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Glad we had him!
Sophie our server was excellent for assuring everything from cocktails, wine, and meals were just as we wanted them and allowed us time to socialize. Very pleasant and customer oriented.
Food was quite good but a little pricey. Service was excellent.
Very lovely restaurant dedicated to serving wonderful fish and other seafood. Meals were well-prepared and delicious. My only complaint was when we were seated, actually barely seated in our booth, the hostess seemed in a hurry to give us our menus and then "thrust" at least 3-4 other hard-bound "books" which made getting situated very chaotic and ruined our initial impression as well as making us disgruntled. I simply do not know what the problem was for the hostess as the restaurant was not "crazy busy" Still recommend the restaurant but be prepared to control your seating experience which I would never have expected to have to say to such an otherwise nice restaurant.
Always a wonderful experience!
I love Off the Hook because the service is always wonderful. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, and my husband loved his food. I ordered the crab cake and it seemed a bit dry, but the limoncello mussels I had were amazing. I’d definitely go back, and maybe try another item off the menu.
One of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh for sure! Fresh food, great wine selection, incredible service. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
Love the food and the atmosphere. Great service as well.
My halibut was very good, but the wine list was all obscure overpriced American wines at 3x+. The restaurant could be great if they turned up the lights a little, and added a realistic wine menu with known names that get Wine Advocate ratings at 2x the cost. I don't quite get excluding most of the world's wines.
Food is awesome. Sever was great. Unfortunately we were seated in the space that is their private meeting room. That area is very sterile Good area for business meeting. But nite the best if you want to experience any atmosphere
The food was excellent, although a bit on the pricey side. Everything is ala carte, so $30 - $36 just for the entrée is more than expected. Other better restaurants in the Pittsburgh area seem to have more reasonable priced fresh seafood. I also find the prices for many of the glasses of wine to be higher than elsewhere. I will give credit to the chef for very tasty seafood entrees. I will go back, unfortunately not as often as I would like, because of the price. My dinner for three, with 2 drinks each was around $230.00.
Awesome as usual
Great food and experience
Very nice place Logan was on point.I had Tx Redfish blackened.Very nice.
Absolutely amazing!!! Hope to visit in the future when traveling to the area.
I’ve been here often but today was disappointing with an over cooked grouper and I knowledgeable waitress today ... nice kid tho
Expensive and smaller portions, but the quality, taste and service make it worth the price. Excellent.
Anniversary. Wonderful Halibut.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. The servers were attentive. Food is a little pricey, but well worth the money spent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic fresh food. Great menu, outstanding service.
Food and service are outstanding. Price adds up if you want a salad or sides so ends up quite expensive.
Not inexpensive but worth it for the quality of food and overall experience. Server recommended a preparation for my dish that wasn't on the menu which was delicious.
all the food was awesome and the service was great
The food was amazingly good. I only gave a medium value score because this restaurant is pricey so if you are looking for value price this isn't it. The seafood is flown in fresh daily and is worth the money. Also, if you love dessert like I do, they have a pastry chef, and the desserts are made on premise not frozen run of the mill.
Nice spot for lunch- varied menu with many varieties of fish prepared in a multitude of ways. Wine by the glass list is quite extensive. We will be back!
Our server Kevin was excellent! Enjoyed our first visit to Off the Hook and plan to return in the future.
