O'Donoghue's Bar & Restaurant
Great experience! Food and service great!! Prices very good
Got seated right away ( the time of our reservation.) Took a little bit for anyone to get our drink order but the hostess noticed and got it taken care of. OUr server was super nice.
Great little spot before the Theater. The Baileys Oreo Cheesecake was amazing!!! The Shepherd's pie and Spring rolls were also very yummy!
Great place for pre /post theatre diner, waitress was lovely, and very accommodating.
We enjoyed the food and the service was a good. It was a nice alternative to the typical Time Square restaurants.
Excellent!!! Great mix of a traditional Irish pub with a contemporary urban feel.
Great place to grab a drink or dinner/lunch before or after a Broadway show!
Mediocre food and device in an area where you have so many choices - I was disappointed.
Excellent service. Tasty comfort food. Very reasonable prices. Close and convenient to the theatre district/Times Square
A good spot if you are going to the theater and do not want an extravagant meal. The chicken pot pie and shepherds pie are very good.
Asked our server several times at the beginning when our potato pancakes were delivered for applesauce, after 3x a very small amount arrived but too late the pancakes were gone. Not attentive, kept running out of water and she kept disappearing.
Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was cozy and typical Irish Pub decor. Service was prompt and food was good pub food. Portions were large. There were several tv’s for sports fans. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good Irish Pub!
Had a nice meal after a Broadway show with friends. Ambiance and food compared well with the pubs we ate in during a recent trip to Ireland. Service was good and the staff friendly.
We spent Christmas Day in O’Donoghues and it was fantastic!! We could not fault anything about it. Thank you for a lovely meal in a nice setting.
Went for our family Christmas dinner, not the most likely place to take children in the evening but it couldn’t be more welcoming and ensuring we were all comfortable. The food was great with great service and reasonably priced.
Had theatre tickets so we decided to have a quick lunch before the theatre. I have to give this Pub a four star. I could find nothing to complain about. Excellent hamburgers. My friend had a more substantial meal which she said was quite good. A bit surprised because it was a Pub. Service great. Definitely recommend and would go there next time I come into N.Y. for the theatre.
Great food, service and reasonable prices! They also easily acccommodated my mom in her wheelchair.
Fantastic food and great ambiance!
Super crowded but the service was very fast and polite. The food was okay just what you would expect in a pub .
Visiting the big apple and found this gem! Totally fab!!! Guinness beef stew, shepherds pie and the chicken pot pie were phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Great place for simple meal before the theater, and also to have drinks after a show.
Nice that there’s live music four nights of the week.
Excellent service. Food was good. In and out before theatre.
Having booked a table on opentable when we arrived at the restaurant they did not have our booking. We were disappointed in that however we were able to get a table at the time. The server at the front was fairly dour and looked like she didn’t want to be there. We have been to this restaurant many times and never had this service. The rest of the visit was great, great quality food and drink, great vibe and service of food was very quick. We will be back.
Food was good, pork chop was very good. Waitress spilled water on my wife,a ICY start. Would return !!
Fun evening. Casual and cozy.
A lot of old couples. Very quiet. Not a pub type spot
The waitress had something against us and she basically avoided us the entire meal, i would never go back
I was very surprised to be able to get a reservation for 5 on a Sunday early evening. We had about a 1/2 wait at the bar. The prices were reasonable, there was a very good selection, and the bartender was pleasant. Since it was Sunday, Happy Hour was unavailable (Mon-Fri only), but it looked like an excellent deal.
The dining area was crowded and kind of small, but we got a corner table. There were a good selection of appetizers and main courses, including vegetarian friendly ones. Food was very tasty. Service was efficient and unrushed. I recommend O'Donoghue's.
Grabbed food here before a show. Food was good. Service was very quick. It is small and you sit on top of each other but that is common in this area. Wish they had more beers
Great place to go for quick service prior to a broadway show.
We go to a lot of Broadway plays and this was a new place for us. We all loved our meals and the service was great, it was a little loud but then again it is a bar. We would definitely go back.
The dish my wife order was short on brown gravy we requested more. A two once serving was delivered and they charged us $5.00 for the extra gravy. We inquired and they said that was what the charge for a extra. I informed them that the dish did not come out properly prepared and was unhappy. They removed the $5.00 charge. The manager was unpleasant. We will not return.
Good food and Yuengling on draft. Had an issue at the restaurant getting my open table points but OT fixed it. The hostess didn’t have our res although I showed her the email confirmation. So double check you get your points
Service prompt, business like but not at all personable, main course arrived while still eating appetizers and plates jammed onto table by server, corned beef sandwich dry, hamburger supposed to be medium rare was medium. One and done for this restaurant.
Outstanding menu and food. It was served fresh and steaming hot. The waitress and staff were great. It seems like a great place for friends to gather. It was a perfect date night for me and he wife.
My daughter and I had 5:30 reservations and were running late. Not only did the hostess seat us right away but we were served quickly and were able to make our 7:00 show without a problem. The food was delicious and the service was great.
We were between Broadway Shows, the location was convenient to the theater. The restaurant had a nice pub feel. Good variety of food on the menu. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie, I had the Shepard's Pie, would not hesitate to recommend either dish. If you are looking for a relaxing place to eat, that has good food and quick, pleasant service, give it a try.
Went there between part 1 and 2 of Harry Potter on a busy a Saturday in Times Square.
We got seated right away which was great.
Spinach app was not hot and too salty, same goes for my Guinness Stew. Food was nothing to crow about and our waitress wasn’t very attentive considering it wasn’t especially busy. The experience was just ok.
Great for beer, average to below average for everything else.
Good food, good service. We went pre-theatre, very convenient!
