Service was very good. Dining for a special occasion. Prices are a little high, but food was excellent. We all enjoyed our meal.

Excellent, very fresh seafood. Menu is fairly extensive but does include non-seafood items such as steak, chicken, chops etc. Service was attentive and food arrived in a timely manner. Parking can be a bit tight.

Been there several times always great service and food. But this past time it took forever to order drinks and even longer to get them, and some drinks weren’t even correct. When our meal was over we had to wait a while for the check it was like the waiter disappeared. We would definitely go back, but it was definitely an off evening. We were with another couple that had never been there before and probably wouldn’t go back. Also, I was embarrassed because I spoke so highly of the restaurant.

It was a busy Saturday night and the tables were very close and crowded. The food was good but the wine was average. The waiter was scarce but it was busy. We asked for lemon, more water and never got it. When you are paying top dollar you expect quality service.

Date night with the Mrs. and it lived up to everything we’d thought it would! If you haven’t been then you must period! That’s really all one can say when they this is a top 3 restaurant for my wife and me.

They respected our request for a quiet table. As always, the food was excellent as was the service. An extra special treat was the baklava on the house for our anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better place.

Although we had a party of 11 and it was Easter Sunday (it was Palm Sunday for us), Oceanos made us all feel welcome, promptly served us, and our food was excellent! Could not have asked for a better experience. First class all the way.

I've been there many time, and the food and service was always great. the only thing I have to complain about is, it is, way too hot in there. I know the owner likes it hot, but it shouldn't be based on him. I shouldn't have to sweat and walk outside for air, more than once. I found this to be annoying.

It was amazing. Great spot for romantic anniversary dinner. Will definitely be back. Best crab legs i have had in a while. And if there are crab legs on menu- i am ordering them anywhere we go. Awesome cappuccino. Great service and ambiance.

The fish was very fresh and prepared to perfection The grilled octopus appetizer was enough for the three of us to share. The oyster selection was good and each one was delicious.. . We had scallops, attic char and king crab legs for our entrees. Dessert was also delicious.

Best food. Great menu. Had oysters. Tuna tartar. Caesar salad. And red snapper with lump crabmeat. Everything top quality. The pumpernickel bread and fresh olives are so good. Wish I had room for dessert. Pretty place.

Another GREAT meal! My wife and I came for an early dinner today straight after work. We had this new drink the barteener as working on called "Call me an Uber" hahahah. Great name!! It was a bourbon cocktail that tasted amazing. I had the special nantucket scallops that were delicious and my wife had the whole red snapper that was super fresh and tasty. Of course we had to have Oysters for appetizer. We had 2 dozen of the kumamoto which were amazingly sweet and had that real crispness, and "just shucked" taste. Yummy. I can't wait to come back and have the tuna tartare. Our server was awesome too. Great gal named Emily!!!

We had a reservation, but were seated at the bar area for 45 minutes. The owner did give us a free shrimp cocktail once seated, however the hostess sat 2 couples before us, who arrived after we did. The restaurant gives priority to repeat customers, which is understandable however needs to work on punctuality.

We have been here many times before but this was an off day. I had mussels & it was very hard to get them out of the shell. stuck so badly that it almost went across the table. I had lobster and it was excellent but they only had a 1 1/2 pound so o didn’t get very much meat. My husband is not a fish person so he had lamb and he said they were not very good. As I said, we have been here before & it was excellent so I’m hoping this was an off day. We will go back again but if it’s not good then it will be our last.

Overall good experience. Friendly staff and has a good vibe. Was disappointed that our dinner was served within minutes of placing the order. We had not finished our cocktail and it was obvious that the food was prepared and plated ahead of time. For the price I expect the wait staff to know when to serve and that the food should be prepared (or appear to be) once ordered. Food was very good. Liked the wine list - reasonable prices.

GREAT TIME!! I came here with my wife for date night and it was outstanding! Our server was Richie who was a real professional, the kind of waiter who knows what you need before you need it. We had the Oceanos Seafood Tower for an appetizer with all the oysters and clams and shrimp. The Lobster was so fresh and delicious. For entree I had the Alaskan King Crab Legs and my wife had the special Halibut which was too pretty too eat. Next time I will make some room for dessert. Love it!!! Great Place!!!

Allergy to citrus that was not taken seriously by chef. All food came with lemon garnishes and tasted of citrus. Benadryl....here I come.

My husband and his friend frequent this place so decided to take my friend for a special birthday. The service was perfect and the food was beautiful and tasty. Still obsessing over the octopus appetizer. Will definitely be going again.

Oceanos never disappoints! The food is always amazing, the service is always good, and the atmosphere is quiet enough, yet lively, to enjoy a good meal.

Excellent food & romantic ambiance make this a great spot for special occasions. The quaint little bar serves excellent cocktails before or after dinner, and the raw bar & specials are outstanding quality. The biggest drawbacks are the limited wine list and the cost. Oddly enough, the wines were actually decent value. I did find it odd, however, that a seafood restaurant offered twice as many reds as whites. While the food is exceptional, the price is as well. $25 shrimp cocktails and $40 seafood entrees is a bit expensive for Fair Lawn, NJ.

We have always enjoyed dining there, especially when we can sit outside in the warmer weather. This time we were rather disappointed with our meal. The fried calamari were not especially crispy and my dover sole was chewy rather than flaky. At this price point, there should not be any disappointments.

Was our first time there. What a great great place to have dinner and the price although a little expensive was well worth the value. Staff was exceptional from the valet to the waitress it was amazing I will definitely be back
