I brought my husband for his birthday. We invited another couple. The service was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing. I love this place and the other couple had not fined there before and they remarked that they will definitely return.

we had not been to this resteraunt since 3/20 and we are glad we went back....the owner greeted us at our table...my wife and i shared steamed mussels as an app. we both had spinach salads.... my wife had seafood risotta...and i had the redfish special...very nice place...we gave it all 5 stars

Food was good. Service attentive. I was put off by the fact that the price on the menu was not the price charged. There was a small note on menu that said prices might be different from those printed. That’s not acceptable. I shouldn’t have to guess what my bill will be. Cross out the price with a marker and indicate the current price if you can’t reprint the menu.

We went to Oceano Bistro on a Saturday night, the place was fairly busy. We started off with some cocktails and they were all very good. The bread was warm and fresh, and our meals were served promptly. My husband ordered some oysters and said they were clean and fresh. Our table also ordered the Rainbow Trout, Shrimp Scampi and the Halibut. All were good, but I think there could have been a little more flavoring in the trout and the halibut. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back.

Enjoyed dinner here prior to going to a Jazz show. It was not busy when we got there at 530 however quickly filled when we left an hour later. Everything was great. The gentlemen at our table had the Mahi Mahi which were good. I order the salmon which was excellent. My friend ordered the Trout. No one had any complaints about the food. Highly recommend. Will return

Oceano's is a great restaurant. It is particularly outstanding for lunch. The food is great, the place is high class, but it is overall a very comfortable place to meet with people. Awesome for business lunches; great for personal lunches.

Our server was very nice, but not very polished. I ordered a bottle of wine and was told they were out of it, so I asked to speak to someone about the list. When they arrived, I asked if there were any other wines that weren’t available. The response was they didn’t know, but not delivered in the most professional fashion. They preferred help to find a wine, but I wanted a white wine, it’s a seafood restaurant, and they we’re suggesting red wines. After a go around, it turns out they actually had the wine I ordered. Unfortunately, our server didn’t know how to open the wine. It had a glass cap, so I opened the wine and poured for the table. When my entree arrived, the Seafood Sofrito, a spoon for the broth, a shellfish fork for the mussels, and a bowl/plate for shells would have been a nice touch. At one point, our server tried to take my wine glass without asking. I wasn’t quite finished. When it came time for dessert, our server didn’t have good knowledge of the beverage selection, so I went to the bar to take a look for myself. I ordered from the bar and had it delivered to the table. Our server also tried bringing the check before dessert arrived. I asked her to wait till we were finished with dessert. The food was great. Our server was really nice and tried her best to accommodate the table. It’s not her fault that her training for the job wasn’t the best. I realize that restaurants run out of items, especially on busy nights, but my expectation was that a restaurant at that price point should have a better grasp on their wine program and their staff training.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal here on Valentines day more then I could write here. I didn't know what to expect as it was our first time but we both left saying the same thing ... BEST MEAL WE HAVE EVER HAD. Our server was so sweet and attentive also, we will be back without any shred of doubt. Best food in STL until further notice 😋

One thing, there were these humongous potato pieces in the New England Clam Chowder, odd. Almost filled the cup.
