Located in beautiful and sunny Miami, Florida, The Oceanaire Seafood Room invites guests to enjoy a decadent meal, in an elegant and character filled environment. The dining room is decorated with both festive overhead lighting, and pendant lighting, as well as both table and booth seating. Guests are also welcome to enjoy their meals outside in the hot Miami sun. The patio offers lots comfortable seating. The Oceanaire Seafood Room had an extensive menu that consists of both classic and modern seafood dishes, such as grilled fillet mignon and shrimp, buttermilk fried calamari and wild Alaska cod. Because the menu is based off fresh catches, the menu does change regularly depending on what choices are available at the local market.
Good was great. Atmosphere was okay. Very pushy waiter.
Excellent food. Great values.
We've been to this restaurant in Miami many times, as well as in other cities. Maybe it was because we sat outside, just a street view with lots of traffic. Maybe its because our server was not up to par or maybe it was because my husband ordered cobia and received snapper? Server was spotty and didn't check on us much. She also proceeded to inform my husband that "the chef said that is cobia" LOL. We live in Key West. My husband has fished all his life. We know what cobia looks like. On the other hand, both our dishes were scrumptious and the fish fresh. Just felt like an off night for us. We will probably be back sometime but not very soon.
Fried yellow fin snapper and the oxtail buns were phenomenal!
Coffee was cold but was quickly remedied by the waiter
The restaurant is in a prime location - right in the heart of some great night-life. The ambiance was excellent, and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through the many options (Overall, friendly staff). We would have loved to try more on the menu, so we will definitely be back in the future.
A nice crowd but never crowded. Great ambiance and service. All fish is excellent!!!! The stone crabs were awesome. Great bar service. Good wait staff. Steaks are great. It's a bit limiting for someone who doesn't want fish or steak.
I understand it was Valentines Day, but it wasn't very busy but the food took too long. When it finally arrived it was overcooked. I was very disappointed
Experience was great as usual. Did delicious. It was Valentine's Day therefore the service wasn't as great due to high volume clients.
I enjoyed the restaurant, my only complaint would be that they ran out of lobster, being Valentines Day I would think they would have stocked up. However, the salmon was delicious!!
the Food is amazing and service was great as well

We were very excited to go back and visit this restaurant as we had tried it on another visit to Miami when it had first opened years ago. The memory we had in our minds was that it had great food and a lively ambiance.
This time, the service was so pathetic I cannot begin to start. We had an early reservation, 700pm, b/c we had brought three young kids along. Shocked to see the restaurant was very empty for a Friday night. We sat immediately, and they claimed we would have two servers that would take great care of us, as we were a party of 8.
The food took so long, they finally served us at 845 after I had to get up two times to ask if someone could find our waiter who had been MIA most of the night and the second server I never even met. The manager became aware of our delay and made little effort to help us. He could have come over to apologize for their delay and even offer the poor kids a dessert, no? I would have hated to see how they function with a full restaurant. Luckily the food was flawless so the chef gets a great score from us! 5 Stars! But I forgot how overpriced it is, 15 dollars a claw? What? We finally left at 940pm. The experience too long for us! Such a shame the service was so pitiful as the place has serious potential if they could iron out this issue.
Spectacular food, and a great staff - sad Carlos is no longer there
We enjoyed the restaurant. The food was excellent.
I invited friends to celebrate my fiancé birthday and was unhappy that some items were unavailable for them and they had to find something else on menu. Food was good, but that dampered the mood! Manager was rude with her explanation too. Our server was awesome though.
The service was outstanding but the food was below average. My main of fish was seared but barely warm once I got it and it ruined the dish. Ordered 4 dishes + wine and none were impressive and it cost a fortune. Very unimpressed.
Very disapointed with the service and the food the last two visits.
I used to like ke this place but after my last two visit i do not think i will be returning.
Our food 'twas extraordinary. We received an amuse Bouche as first timers. The bread was warm, the salads excellent and huge for two. We both ordered the grouper which was the best I ever had. Then we had chocolate and caramel cake which we shared but it was big enough for two more
All in all it was a very delicious meal and We would definitely return.
The customer service
Want to wait an hour for a soup and salad appetizer?? If so this is your place. Had the same Problem with brunch at this restaurant as well.
Service and food were fantastic. Oysters and shrimp cocktail were great to start, arugula and goat cheese salad was fresh and large enough to share. Our friends brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee is $25 but you can bring up to two bottles which is great to know for next time. I had the scallops which were seated to perfection and tried my partner's branzino, it was all perfect and delicious. Our friends ordered the grouper and the whole hog fish which can easily be shared. To finish we all shared the banana bread pudding, and it was more than enough for the four of us. So yummy!
A lovely server, but the food wouldn't come out - even wine was slow. When food did come, all courses together??? Glad I hadn't ordered dessert. Maybe it was because it was the eve or NYE, but still - it is the season.
Oceanaire had amazing service. Jeannie our server was amazing!!! She knew the menu so well and really went above and beyond. It truly was a wonderful evening with great food, service and ambiance.
The sales manager Isis also assisted in making sure one of the meals did have salt in it because of a health condition. Thanks again!!
Oceaniare was good food and wonderful service. THe service was knowledgeable with the wine and made a good suggestion.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was out standing. It was my wife's birthday and the staff made a special effort.
The menu has a comphrensive selection of seafood and is printed each day. Deliveries arrive twice a day. Our waiter helped us navigate the numerous menu choices and the meals were great.
Great experience, I went for my 25th birthday. The restaurant created a special menu for me and the staff signed a birthday card. I received a complimentary birthday cake and ice cream that was large enough for 8 people to get a slice. The food was delicious and although all my guest leant eat seafood there were great alternatives for them. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The hostess was kind and friendly. Our waiter was witty and very funny. He made some great suggestions that made the night even better. My boyfriend enjoyed his 26th birthday. Thanks for the great experience.
Food is excellent, service was really good. However, the prices are outrageous.
Might take a while for another visit.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful when my twin tails arrived EXTREMELY over cooked after 45minutes of waiting. I ordered them broiled based on the servers recommendation and they seem to of sat under a heat lamp for quiet some time before being brought to me. Two bites in, I had to send it back. The manager and server were both very helpful. However I found it interesting it only took 15minutes to recook and bring out to me after I waited 45 for the first order. This was not my first time dining at this location, I actually know one of the servers by name, but I will do a double take before going back again.
Another concern of mine was the out door seating, it is set up perfectly, however, there is a clear path for people to walk through where you are dining instead of going on the outer sidewalk. There should be some kind of rope or sign preventing people from doing so.
A really nice place. It's blue candlelight very romantic and make sure you get the candy they have @the front-really nice. I had a seafood dish that was really nice. Really delicious food, really nice waitress(oh snap I forgot her name! Sorry!) and we parked in the $2 parking per hour garage I have only one complaint: the food is overpriced the same dish I got here for almost $40 I could get somewhere else for $20 but that's 2 be expected in Brickell but my food was really REALLY good and I'll defenetly be back!
Oceanaire is a great place if you're looking for grilled fish or sea food! The list of starters is very diverse and for desserts they have, among others, big portions cheese cake or key lime pie!
A bit pricy but that's normal when you get high quality daily caught fish.
Evironment is quite, not very lightened (blue lamps), definetely more for adults than for young crowds.
There is outside seating where smoking is allowed.
The food and service were excellent. We had a variety of fish that were prepared well. The Mofongo was very good but the broccoli was nothing special. The sides were generously sized and were more than enough to share between three to four people.
On business in Miami and this was our first visit to restaurant. It was a Monday night and business was light.
Was at a business meeting and decided to try this place. Bad decision. Food was overcooked and had to be sent back. Will not be back
Extremely expensive for the quality of the food. My wife and I eat out all the time and were very disappointed with the food, shrimps and scallops where overlooked to the point they tasted gummy. Lobster was literally the size of a large shrimp. Dessert was the only thing worst anything. Will never go back.
Kareem is one of the best chefs in Miami. He came out and introduced himself to my group. The food was amazing! You are lucky to have him on your team! we will be back!
Standard ir was lunch time.
But the waitress always forgot something. And slow service. And we were only 4 tables. Perhaps at night is better.
My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. We were well treated and received good, attentive service. The food is well done, fresh, and good portions. The menu is done daily so the chef is conscious of freshness and variety in what is offered. The wine list is good with something for most any pallet.
we happened to have a great waiter who knew the menu like the back of his hand. His recommendations were all great. Food was on point.
We had the Miami Spice menu and the food was fantastic. We had the lobster tail with risotto and it was very tasty
We enjoyed our dining experience. The service was impeccable.
Great place to have a special dinner evening.
the service is fabulous!
the food is fantastic. plate presentations are gorgeous.
lots of flavors, fabulous appetizers!
