Service was EXCELLENT....
Janell was our server and she ROCKED IT...
Food an service were amazing!!!!
The food was OK I expected more for the price
Taste and preparation of the food not consistent with the price charged.
Great food and service. We really enjoyed the experience.
Honestly the ambiance and our waiter David made it worth it. Food was not horrible but it lacked taste (especially for it to be fish). Also it was kind of over priced but the drinks made up for that. Cocktails were really strong and worth every penny.
My wife and I were celebrating and decided to try Oceanaire. The ambiance was very nice and our waitress was really good. So far so good right?!?! I would say yes until the main course arrived. The steak and crab cakes were a little over cooked, asparagus was cold, and the mash potatoes were DRY. I don’t know how that can happen, but it did. We let our waitress know and she stated she did, but they did not try to make our meal better nor did they comp them. Needless to say, we won’t be back.
Fantastic food and excellent service. Oceanaire never disappoints!
This was our first time here and we enjoyed every bit of it. The food was amazing. We got the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the clam chowder to start. My entree was the filet mignon and the crab cakes and he had the tuna and garlic green beans. All the food came out in increments. It did take a while, but this was an evening for leisure, so we were in no time rush. For drinks, I had two of the sangrias and he had a martini before we shared a bottle of wine. It was a very good date night for us and we had such a good time.
We were very dissapointed in our experience at the Oceanaire. Service was very poor. We did not feel like a valued cusromer in any manner. Will not go back.
This was absolutely the best seafood and restaurant I have eaten at. Usually there is a foul smell at seafood restaurants but not here. The experience at this restaurant was TOP of the line. I can not wait to return. This was a girl trip and I can not wait to return back.
Absolutely superb dining experience.
The dining experience at Oceanaire was lovely due to our fabulous server, Janelle. She was excellent in every respect. Two things that were average were the food, my lobster tail was overcooked, not terrible great flavor. And my Caesar was a typical overdressed salad with bottled dressing. Very disappointing. I sent it back and got one with less.
But overall the experience was nice because of the server and the ambience. Finally, the oysters were excellent.
Celebrated my wifes 52nd Birthday at Oceanaire and the staff and our server Claire were outstanding. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Atlanta and the personnel always make us feel special. Ty again for a wonderful time AND CELEBRATION. Vr, Ron Turk
For my birthday dinner, I chose the Oceanaire restaurant. One friend and one family member accompanied me. You'd think it was THEIR birthdays the way they carried on about the ambience, atmosphere, food and service. One said the Oceanaire is now her go-to spot for fine dining. Their reactions were as much a gift to me as being treated to dinner. Great experience!
Food and service were good. But not great, nothing particularly wrong, just wasn’t up to par with some other restaurants of the same type and price. Loved the Oceanaire in Indianapolis. Atlanta’s was just Meh.
Fun time with girls!!
The food was great and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Food was pretty good. Restaurant was a bit outdated. Value didn’t really seem to be there, but would eat there again in a year or two down the road.
Amazing food, great service and the ambiance is unmatched.
Aarron was PHENOMENAL!! He ensured that our visit was better than expected. I will be returning as the service and food was amazing!
Excellent food. Beautiful surrounding and excellent staff
We had a really time at dinner the food was awesome and amazing. The only concern I had was we ordered a drink the server was nice enough to warn us there would be salt on the rim of the glass. Upon receiving the drink it tasted like straight salt. We are the server if they could remake it for us please. She returned the drink to us in a new glass with no salt on the rim this time and they did not remake the drink the just added more liquor to drink instead of remaking it. It was still too salty for us so we decided to just not drink it. Next time please just remake the drink thank you very much.
Food overpriced for the portions received and everything ala carte. You may consider lowering prices or at least including a side item with meal.
Impeccable service and food. The crab cakes were among the top 3 that I have had and I've been all over. Great atmosphere and I highly recommend this dining experience.
The service was excellent. The server was knowledgable and helpful with the wines and menu. The food was amazing.
Simply amazing I would love to visit again and recommend to everyone I know.
The food was great. Service was sub-par.
The management on duty were horrible. I called to confirm my reservation because I received a text saying that my table was ready at 5:45 versus 6p as scheduled. I spoke to Clair. She handed the phone to Gregg. He wasn’t very helpful. Gregg was very rude, offered to cancel the reservation, very dismissive, condescending, hung up the line, I called again he refused to give his name, and advised that he was the only manager on duty. Once I arrived at the restaurant, I spoke to another manager on duty. Her name was Jennifer. She was very nice and polite. Our server’s name was Maddy. The temperature of the food was Luke warm. The staff forgot our drink orders. They also forgot to bring the bread that we’d asked for. They forgot to bring steak sauce as well. When I mention it to the server, she blamed the kitchen. My sister’s steak was brought out wrong twice. The first time it was over cooked. The second time it was undercooked. She’d asked for it to be medium well. We were also not asked the size of steak that we’d like to have. I suppose the server assumed we wanted the 6oz. When I received my steak it was very small. I didn’t mention it because we’d already waited for them to be prepared. To add insult to injury, our mashed potatoes were cold. Overall .... Horrible experience! I drove an hour to dine with this restaurant and I couldn’t believe the level of disrespect and poor service! I will be doing a google review and contacting the bbb.
The service was great. The food was good not spectacular. I would go back and try something different
Dinner was great, everything was delicious. I was expecting a little more food for the money though.
The overall experience was good. However, a few things. We checked in 5 minutes before 8pm and were not seated until 8:15pm or about with an 8pm reservation. The waiter was less than we expected. I asked specifically to taste The Harrison and the 14 Hands red wine. My guest also requested to taste the 14 hand. This waiter, Stephan, brought one glass to taste test as if we were going to pass the glass around the table. The waiter never brought a taste test for The Harrison. We had to request plates to share appetizers and to share dessert though we explained each time that we were going to share these things. Stephan seemed inexperienced (so I still left an 18% tip) or this is the new policy of Oceanaire. Either way, I will not be back any time soon.
great food nice place , the only think can be improve is the parking
I ordered the crab cakes and my friend order 2lbs of Alaskan king size crab legs. The crab legs were fresh and cooked to perfection to the point that it reminded me of Chesapeake Bay. The crab cakes were well seasoned with a hint of mustard and the dip, when dipped in sauce; it melted in my mouth with a fresh scent and taste of the sea and a delightful aroma that made the experience unforgettable. My only recommendation would be to made adjustments to the ingredients of the key lime pie; the taste on my pallet was that the pie wasn't freshly made and it tasted like it had gone bad or was beyond it expiration date. With that, if improvement is made in this one area, I would have given my review a five star instead of a four star. I plan on eating here again to critique your food.
My birthday was 3/16 and my family came to town for his birthday 3/10 too! Such a great time and the food yummy...
My family and I enjoyed to the fullest. From the great ambiance, to the delicious food.
Asked for a booth in my reservation........didn’t get one but other patrons got one. It seemed that our waiter needed help and was told he didn’t have a assistant. Been to this establishment before and it seemed like they were not properly staffed.
Food was very good. Not sure if the price was justified. Paid $8.00 for distilled water and $3.50 for plain bread and butter. I think that was definitely over priced. The ambience was nice. Not sure if I will return.
