    The chicken fried lobster was to die for! One of the best meals I have had in Atlanta!! Our server was top notch, food was delicious, what more could we ask for?

    I know the restaurant policy of not splitting checks of large parties is in vogue now, but that creates an issue when groups are paying at the end of their meals. I even asked the server upfront if she could put each individual guest's order on the bill sequentially rather than overwhelming the guest with trying to find their items on the bill. Her response was, "no, I have to follow the restaurant policy". The server knows what each individual orders because they're the ones taking the orders. So, I can't imagine it being a big deal to show: Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3, etc. on the bill. If you want to continue enforcing the no split check policy, at least you can do something to make it easier for the guest to pay the bill. And, I'm sure that the server would get more than the 18% added gratuity in doing so. Overall, all my guests thought the restaurant, the food, and the ambience was great. I'm just not sure if restaurants are trying to discourage large parties dining by creating chaos at the end of their meals with this policy.

    We had a fabulous time at Oceanaire! They treated us like VIPs. The food was amazing! The staff attended to our every need!! The steak is a must, as well the seafood salad. The oysters as an appetizer - cooked perfectly! And you can’t go without the truffle fries! David and his staff are top notch!

    Went for a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. It was amazing! Food was great. Service was bomb. They gave him a lot of stuff for his birthday. Would recommend

    The food and ambiance is always great!! The service was not and they sat us right behind a large party of 9 women and it was very unenjoyable because of the noise!

    We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday on a Wednesday. Our server was very nice, but for a 7:30 reservation/start time we didn’t get any food (including bread that we had to ask for) until around 9:00. The seafood was good, although we did have to send a crab cake back because it was obvious they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a while (it was dry and only lukewarm while on a super hot plate). Our server didn’t tell us that one of the appetizers we had ordered was not available until we asked, around 9:00. A steak we ordered was raw. The seafood was overall very good, but we had been waiting so long it’s possible we were just very hungry. At the end of dinner, the manager ended up taking off some items from our bill which was nice but we would have appreciated better food, much sooner. We didn’t want to send entrees back because it was around 9:30/9:45 when they came out and we just wanted to go home at that point. Our server was very nice and the manager was as well, and they were receptive to our feedback, although we understand that they can only do so much when the food does take so long to come out.

    The experience at the Oceanaire was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The front of house took us directly to our table although we arrived a little early to our reservation. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they brought him a lovely surprise (more than just a free dessert) that made him feel extra special. The food is beyond delicious! We ordered several appetizers: creole charbroiled oysters, lump crab cake, spicy lobster rolls, and calamari. All of them were fantastic. For entrees, we ordered the fried lobster with grits, the buttermilk fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and shrimp fried rice. Again, it was supreme. The drinks were also a good pour. We will definitely be returning.
