My husbands brother and his wife were staying with us over Valentines Day so we all celebrated a dinner out together at Ocean Prime. We enjoyed their specialty cocktails before dinner, a bubbly martini and punch, both were very good, so good we all had a second. The men had fillet mignon with shrimp scampi and the other with Oscar, you are able to pick the accompaniment you would like on your steak. The ladies had the seafood special grouper with a wonderful piece of Alaskan king crab legs on top, both were excellent ! We asked our server to send the sommelier over to our table to help us choose a wine that would compliment all our entrees. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and we chose a nice blend. Our server was also very pleasant and well informed on the menu and offered good advice on the dishes. he took our picture for us to remember such a lovely evening. After appetizers of house salads, excellent choice with a light dressing and goat cheese on top, sushi and Ahi tuna for the men , side dishes of mushrooms and Brussel sprouts ( roasted with balsamic vinegar) and asparagus with our mains, we decided to skip desert although it looked pretty good at other tables. We had actually ordered too much and unfortunately could not eat it all.
The dining room had a very nice ambience with moderate background noise level that still allows you to have a conversation at your table without feeling like you are shouting or being overheard by other tables. Overall it was a very nice dinner out that we were all enjoyed and did not disappoint in any way. The dining room is lovely with a fireplace, pretty lit up bar and large windows that open up to the outside, the weather was a little cool so the windows were not open but the fireplace made it very cozy inside. We dressed up for the occasion and enjoyed the more formal atmosphere of the dining room. We have also enjoyed a casual dining experience on the lounge side of the restaurant with live entertainment.

The food was to die for and the waiter was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better place to take my mother too on her 60th birthday. They made it so special for her and she was thrilled and had no problems telling them that she was 60. Thank you for making it so special for my mother. Will definitely be back and have already highly recommended going here.

First timers with friends who are locals. Everything was outstanding especially the PRIME ROLL!! Friday night piano and singing were an added bonus!!! We will be back soon!

Never disappointed when I bring business colleagues. Something for everyone. There is a vegan option of quinoa with roasted vegetables. It’s not on the menu. You have to ask for it. Delicious!

What a neighborhood gem! We’ve been there for the first time and were thrilled. The Phoenix/Scottsdale area is not short on superb dining options but this place is really outstanding. There’s a cozy bar area with live music where patrons can unwind with a drink. They even got 2 private dining rooms. We got placed into the main dining room though. Our order: Caesars Salad (4 points out of 5), jumbo shrimp cocktail 3 ct (5/5), crab meat cocktail (5/5) 16 oz Kansas City Strip Steak med/rare (faboulos 5/5) with Lobster mashed potatoes (4,7/5), and a huuuuge piece of superb chocolate mousse cake w/ vanilla ice cream (5/5). Avoid to drink wine, it’s very expensive (Glass of mid class red wine $45, glass of Vve Cliquot Champagne $30). Service is fast and efficient, kinda “too” efficient for this price range. Overall: great experience, excellent food, would return anytime!!

Very good service. Had a couple of food issues. One of us ordered a bowl of soup, which he was told was gluten free - then it showed up with pieces of bread in it. The manager apologized, and comp'd his meal - very nice. Another ordered a filet, and didn't eat 1/2 of it. Said it tasted off - like they'd used some kind of seasoning on it which he said was almost like a Parmesan flavor. How do you mess up a filet? Sea Bass was good - not great. Which is what I'd say about the experience overall - good, but not great (and great is what I was hoping for given the prices there).

This is wonderful place to dine for any reason. The service and attention to detail is superb. The food is excellent with very generous portions. Loved the coffee and butter cake.

Food was delicious. I had the salmon and Caesar salad. We also shared the tater tots. They were delicious. Be prepared to pay...it’s not inexpensive. But was worth the splurge.

Great food and service but could have a bit more atmosphere. We were there on a Monday night, so we expected it to be quiet. However, there were only a few tables and no other background noise to speak of. A nice music set would have enhanced the mood.
Next time we will try a weekend.

Our server made this a not so great experience. He wouldn’t even stop at our table when he had to drop something off, he would just plop it down as he continued walking by. The restaurant wasn’t even busy! He did the same thing with our bill, no thank you, can I get you anything else etc.
