   It was a sudden change of plans, we decided to book in this restaurant 45 minutes before the time we reserved and we were surprised that our table had rose petals, it was so beautiful. We loved and appreciated the effort/s of the staff/s behind it. The food and drinks were delectable. And we were treated very well and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal and our time. Thank you Ocean Prime for making our 1st wedding anniversary a memorable one.

   While Ocean Prime is undoubtedly expensive, its food, service and ambiance are all excellent. We enjoyed a meal there on June 3. I had the barramundi, my wife had the lamb chops and my daughter had a blue cheese filet. All the food and service were great. And they provided a highchair for my 17-month-old grandson, who was well behaved as usual, especially when he's given good food to eat.

   The wait staff was great, the decor is a bit dated. The food was so-so. Bisque under seasoned. The steak was over salted. The lump crab for the Oscar smelled a bit fishy, odd for a place known for their seafood. The jalapeño gratin potatoes that were highly recommended by our waiter were very dry. The dessert in my opinion was overly sweet, but I’m not a sweets guy so take that with a grain of salt, no pun intended. We really wanted to enjoy it as the first trip there several years ago was a disappointment, and it is our friends favorite restaurant. For the money we’ll stick with a steakhouse in Scottsdale quarter that ranks much higher in every matrix and doesn’t require a credit card to make reservations with a penalty of $50 per person should the reservation be cancelled.

    We love this restaurant and drive from Peoria to come there. The food and service are superb. But dining room was too noisy for us! We had trouble hearing the server and each other. It was actually quieter in the bar area. The loud bass beat of the "music" did not add to the ambiance. It made it worse.

    As usual, excellent service tonight! All food ordered was prepared perfectly. My friend enjoyed the oysters and crab (and she is picky)! Scallops and tenderloin were fantastic! Amazing carrot cake and flourless chocolate cake! Great place for fine dining!

    Outstanding experience. Needed to update my reservation last minute for an additional 3 people and they were able to accommodate with no problem. The table was ready upon arrival and the food was spectacular. Being that we moved from the pacific northwest a year ago, we truly missed quality seafood and wow, this may have been just as good if not better than the fresh seafood back home. The next day we were all commenting on how that may have been one of the best dining experiences we have all had. That truly says a lot as we have dined at countless upscale restaurants all over the US and other countries.

    We enjoyed our 40th Anniversary at Ocean Prime in North Phoenix. The restaurant is very nice—top shelf, and the service was even better—Hunter did a great job to make our Anniversary diner even better The food was fabulous from the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert- the drinks were well executed and delicious too! We had an outstanding experience and the entire staff at Ocean Prime on High Street in North Phoenix clearly believe in delivering a very excellent dining experience. Highly recommend Ocean Prime North Phoenix—we’ll be back again for sure!

    Ocean Prime has become too overpriced. Even during restaurant week when you expect a bargain, $55 included a salad, entree and dessert. I ordered the scallops and while they were delicious, there were only 3 scallops!! That's a very tiny portion for the price. There were no modestly-priced wines to be had--the lowest priced glass was $15. I don't think we'll go back in the future, even for restaurant week. It's a shame, because their food is excellent.

    Filet was ordered as medium but arrived more medium rare. The table next to us had the same issue with their steak. Might want to give the cook a refresher on steak temp. Overall great meal.

    It sadly gets lost in the Mastros, Steak 44, fanboy etc noise (I love them both). It is comparable is service and quality but the ambience is better for entertaining or for a intimate evening because you can hear each other talk.

    Nolan is a great server. He was very pleasant and ensured everything was just as we ordered. Our sea bass, lobster bisque and wedge salad were good as always. The before dinner bread is incredible! We were also happy to see that there was ample staff on hand to accommodate all the guests. So many places suffering from being understaffed. This time, we found the noise level to be a bit too much. We think that for a restaurant of Ocean Prime’s caliber, the noise level was too loud. Maybe if there was some consistent smooth jazz playing, the customer noise level may match that vibe. It’s not a bar, it’s more of a restaurant which could be better with different background music. Overall food and service were good. Looking forward to dining there again.

    My husband and I was so disappointed. Crab cakes were good but everything from there went down hill. I ordered the red snapper and my husband ordered sea bass sides were mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I wasn’t sure if I actually had a red snapper, I do an excellent job with making and definitely know how a red snapper taste. I couldn’t eat my food at all. No one came out to ask how the food was as if they knew the chef wasn’t making that food the Brussels sprout left an after taste in my mouth and I only ate two of them. Our bill came up to 217.00 including tip no drinks and for what I think it was so wrong of them to be serving crappy food and for that cost. On top of that our food almost took an hour to come out after we placed our order.

    This Ocean Prime has been there for sometime and is in need of some refreshing. The carpet made the Resturant seem old. The artificial Plant/ flowers need to GO! Staff was friendly and efficient. Food Was good BUT NOT great!

    Service was non existent for my special Mother’s Day dinner. Very disappointing. We never saw our server. He ordered incorrectly and I wasn’t even able to tell him as I had to flag him down to get our bill after we had been waiting to order Mothers Day dessert FOR 20 minutes.. We waited so long we had to leave once we were able to catch him. What a joke! My son tipped 20% because he is 24 yrs old and that’s what he does. However, this is a case I would have NEVER EVER tipped that!

    Ocean Prime is our go to restaurant when we are attending a concert at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) or bringing out of town guests to MIM and then dine at Ocean Prime. Food is always great as well as the service.
