Excellent service.

First time trying ocean prime and will definitely return. I loved the ambiance and how they tried their best to make my birthday extra special. Our waiter was absolutely excellent from the moment we arrived. He was constantly checking in on us and gave us great recommendations. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite we left unable to breathe. The oysters and shrimp were delicious as an appetizer. Lobster bisque was the best I’ve had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides offered were delicious. Lobster Mac and cheese is a must. The butter cake was a dream if you go you must try it!

Ocean Prime is absolutely amazing! I’ve been eyeing this place for so long and I’m happy I decided to finally go. Their private dining is extremely empty (as it should be), quiet, and romantic. The service was impeccable! The food ... delicious! They even added a little birthday decor for my boyfriend’s birthday. It was the perfect touch. They were very accommodating. The music was soft and versatile. Also, parking was super easy for a restaurant in the city. My boyfriend said his steak was the best he’s ever had and was cheaper than most places. I got the Sea Bass, I would’ve preferred something else, but it was tasty nonetheless. We got 4 sides ... black truffle Mac & cheese, garlic mash, truffle fries, and chophouse corn. Everything was so good! The corn was AMAZING! For appetizers, we got the tempura sushi, which was excellent and the crab cakes, which was also good. The margaritas are really good too. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place, but I will warn them ladies with heels, the bathroom is on the 2nd floor so be prepared lol. Other than that, this restaurant is outstanding and we will be returning soon.

I loved everything ! This was a great experience until our waiter said he deserved more then the 60 dollar tip we left and had an attitude upon us leave. Whatever .. I guess he is used to a lot more .. I can’t see how your mad that someone left you that ..

Everything was perfect!

Nice to be in an NYC restaurant again. All protocols were followed and we were seated far from other diners. We felt very safe. The food was excellent as always and the wait service was great. Hopefully King Cuomo lifts the 25% ban before more restaurants like this are forced to close

Amazing food & greetings

Food and staff was great standing on the line wasn’t so bad after doing a reservation they was very apologetic for having us wait on the line and gave us desert on them which was also good

Where do I begin ..... we arrived promptly for our 8:30 reservation. We weren't seated until 9:05. We waited in the bar for our table to be ready but didn't see a waitress for at least 15 minutes. When we were finally seated things seemed to be OK but went downhill after our meals were served.

The issue really wasn't the quality of the food or drinks. The problem was we only saw our server a couple times throughout the meal and not at all for the last 30 minutes. No checking to see if we needed to order drinks or food. No attempt to sell dessert. We actually had to get our check from one of the support wait staff. After the 3rd time asking for the bill, our waiter still didn’t offer an apology. I frequent this restaurant often and this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

This is a very nice restaurant to enjoy a romantic evening with you significant other. The food is pricey but worth every penny. I ordered the surf and turf steak and lobster. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The food was absolutely amazing! I was so full with everything I loved it so much. I was a little uncomfortable with outdoor dining, but due to COVID-19, it was understandable. The ambience was so romantic and the dim lights were perfect. Did I mention the food??? To die for. 11/10 for sure.

The only reason I am not giving Ocean Prime 5 stars across the board was because I reserved for indoor dining and I was ushered to outdoor dining. This shouldn’t happen. Beyond this, the food, presentation, ambience, wait staff were amazing! Highly recommend Ocean Prime. Super romantic! Thanks!

Very neat covered “outdoor” patio with a romantic feel! Was able to dress warm and take my jacket off in 30 degree weather! Wait staff was very friendly. Service a bit slow. Overall 10/10 recommendation especially for a special occasion.
