Food was awful Steak over cooked and dry Came out early while just began eating salads Asked that a new steak be brought out at appropriate time, pretty sure they brought same steak as the juice was dried on the plate Only thing good was the oysters…. Since they were raw Twice baked potato was a joke, just a basic potato with nasty melted cheese and bacon, Terribly expensive for the garbage food

Close to the theatre district, this place can get busy, however the food here, in a word is - - delicious. The menu offers a number of choices that will appeal to the most discriminating palate. They also offer some unique cocktails. Pricing is on a par with other fine dining options available in the area. Finally, the service staff is incredibly attentive as well. Bottom line: imo, you cannot go wrong dining here- - EJ

Had a reservation at 6:15pm and was seated promptly in a nice cozy area. At every point, someone asked about the birthday celebration and wished my boyfriend a happy birthday! The waiter was amazing and mad very good recommendations. We enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance of this location.

Whether you’re at Ocean Prime for a special event or just out for a quality dinner w/ that special someone, you are never disappointed withe the food, service and ambiance. Thursday was no exception. Gordon was avery professional, informative and friendly. Food was superb. I try to visit Ocean Prime whenever I’m In NYC.

Last minute reservations from the front to our exit was far exceeding any of our already high expectations. Our server AJ was attentive and made the dinner even more enjoyable.

Food and vibe were excellent. They do have a nice pre-fix theater menu that is available up to 5:30. You need to ask for the menu. Every dish we tried was excellent. Salads were large and flavorful, salmon and snapper were cooked to perfection. Desserts were delicious. Drinks are pricey - $28 for a grey goose cosmo....the most I've ever paid....and it wasn't one of the best I've ever had but it is Manhattan. Overall, a nice restaurant, good service, excellent food. I do recommend and would dine there again.

Food, drinks, and waitstaff service incredible. But, we had a reservation for 6:15 and didn’t get seated until 7. We had to rush through our meal bc we were going to a show at 8….which we were late for. So, not the best impression or experience due to waiting 45 minutes for our table.

Really lovely experience for a birthday meal they offered me a free dessert too but was too full. Would recommend sharing the sides as the portions are large even the starter was too big to finish.

Delicious food, amazing location. I always tell people that in the city you pay for the food or you pay for the rent (restaurant location). And if you are LUCKY, you pay for both. That is the case at ocean prime. The location can’t be beat and the food was scrumptious. Add amazing service - and you have a great night !!!

The restaurant was packed when we went for our luncheon, but because we had a reservation, we were seated promptly. There were lovely Christmas decorations all around which added to the lovely atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive and stopped by our table multiple times to see if we needed anything. The food did not disappoint, it was outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Having been here last year we were really looking forward to going back again. Sadly our second time was no where near as good as the first. Took 30 minutes to get our drink. Dinner came out with the wrong potato. Server tried to convince my wife, a chef, that it was the right one. Steak was almost finished before the right potato finally came out. I do have to say a big thanks to Charlie a floor manager, who rescued a disastrous situation, well done young man.

It is rare that a restaurant considers acoustics in their interior design, but thankfully, Ocean Prime did. One could enjoy a regular conversation with companions despite the restaurant being very busy, due to thoughtful use of fabric. Jella, our server was the epitome of hospitality - friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food was excellent as well throughout every course and drink options were also stellar.
