Darren is one of the best and most professional servers I have ever had! Ask for him if you go and you won’t be disappointed. He made sure I felt special and taken care of!

We went for my birthday and it was a very on the fly decision after shopping at the Fashion Mall. It was also the first time we have tried Ocean Prime. The food was very good. My husband and I ordered the dry aged Kansas City Strip and two lobster tails and they served it split so we basically each got a surf and turf. We also ordered the prime roll from their sushi menu. It was a heavier sushi roll and the rice was a bit denser than most Japanese sushi rolls I’ve had but it was excellent for what it was. French Onion Soup is my favorite soup of all time and theirs did not disappoint! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try! We also had their chopped corn as a side — YUM! Indiana summer in a bowl is how I would describe it. We will be back again!

This was a birthday celebration. We had made reservations weeks in advance. The food was fantastic, service was great. The only flaw was that our table wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the reservation time. This meant 8 of us waiting in the lobby.

The late table was disappointing but overshadowed by the great food, wine and wait staff.

It was very pleasant and the lobster bisque, wine, and sea bass were excellent. The creamed spinach and tater tots were not so good. Waiter was okay, but a little over the top at times and little absent at other times. Loved the carrot cake they gave us as a dessert for our anniversary.

It was our 13 year anniversary and first time to Ocean Prime. The meal was fantastic and the drinks were of the highest quality. Lori was our server and she was so great. She made wonderful suggestions for food and drink. We will go back very soon!

The service was excellent. The steaks cut like butter. I truly appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, the quality of the food, and promptness of the service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will return soon.

This is our “go-to” place for special occasions. This time we were celebrating our anniversary. The food is always outstanding; but we go there for the service; and especially that from the bartenders.

Went for anniversary celebration. This is our favorite restaurant in the Indianapolis area. Service is outstanding. Our server, Jordan, is friendly but unobtrusive, as well as very knowledgeable about all menu items and wine list. Our anniversary was acknowledged in a very pleasant way. Food was excellent, steaks done with simple perfection. Only quibble is that truffle mac and cheese was average at best. Look forward to our next visit.

Decided to try something new and we are so Happy that we did. This place is truly something special we loved the presentation and our wait staff they took care of us like we were regulars. Truly a wonderful dining experience and we will be back.

The service was outstanding. The food was excellent! One of the best restaurants in Indianapolis.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday to which all of the staff recognized and said "Happy Birthday" from reviewing the notes in OpenTable when the reservation was made. Which is nice because not all restaurants do so. The services was great and the food excellent (we shared the oysters, wedge salad and the halibut) and it was plenty of food for two people.

We noted while the restaurant was busy, the noise levels were low which was very nice as you could actually hear one another without having to raise your voice. We need to go back soon.

The prices were too high for the quality. I have allergies and couldn’t have the walnut or goat cheese on my salad so it came with apples only. Given that I had the two most expensive items from my $12 salad taken off my salad, you would think that our waiter could have comp’d my ice tea. Ridiculous. Dinner was not worth our almost $300 bill on half dollar wine night. Our liquor was only $30 of that total.

Great happy hour menu and prices. Wine selection was very good but wish there were more options by the glass.

Really felt taken care of at this place. Service was just really spot on. The food was really top notch, too.

Food and service was good. Zack was our waiter and gave us top service. Lobster bisque soup is very good. I had halibut special. My spouse had lobster tails. Surf and turf was our appetizer. This multi course meal is very filling. We sampled our dessert but took it home we were so full. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions and good food. Pricey but worth it.

As always it was top notch.

Have been to Ocean Prime a few times before. We have had nothing but positive experiences. So we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary there this year. Our waiter was informative about menu and the food is fabulous. They provided a free dessert to celebrate our special day.
