My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime Indianapolis this evening. Tonight‘s selections included the lobster bisque, lettuce wedge, New York strip Oscar style and the Gouda tater tots. Our server, “Andrew” ensured that our food was cooked to perfection, drinks were plentiful and overall delivered a top notch dining experience for the two of us. Well Done, Andrew and OP!

Went for my birthday, had a wonderful time. Justin was awesome, very knowledgeable and professional. Craft cocktails were delicious and blackened snapper is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Don’t forget to treat yourself to the peanut butter tort. Request Justin if you want to have the best time.

Came here for our Anniversary for the first time. It was a nice surprise to see they had rose petals out on the table for us upon arrival. Appetizers came out at a timely manner and the dinner followed shortly. The side dishes were huge portions and definitely shareable for 2-3 people. The food was good but the service was fantastic! They served and cleaned and made sure you had everything you needed and even set up the table and silverware for you. The only downfall was that it was extremely expensive. $28 for a Jumbo crab cake, and $65 for a ribeye without sides. Everything was Al a carte, and I don’t think the food was that good for the price. The jalapeño au gratin was delicious, as well as the corn and lobster tails. Steak could have used more seasoning. We definitely left with doggie bags as we had a lot left over. Would we go back? Probably not, just because it was extremely expensive. But overall it was a great experience and I’m glad we tried it.

Ocean Prime is the perfect place for a delicious dining experience. The Early Dining Menu, for me, is perfect. I LOVE the French Onion Soup but if I order the regular one, it is so much I'm not hungry for the main meal. With Early Dining, I can get a smaller cup of soup & still be ready to enjoy the salmon, which is excellent. My husband loves their filet & it is always perfectly cooked. The Chophouse corn is sweet & delicious. Service is top notch. Overall, another wonderful experience.

Went for our anniversary and it was amazing they have complimentary valet and also had rose petals on the table when we got seated. The server Eric was very nice and knew the menu. I asked which one he’d prefer out of the two choices I asked and he said the lamb. It was probably the best lamb I ever had. My wife got the Florida grouper and she enjoyed it too. Will definitely be coming back.

Truly a lovely evening out. Our server was very helpful, left us time to enjoy each course and was very personable. The food was excellent, wine very good and the atmosphere quiet but comfortable. Celebrated a birthday and received a complimentary dessert, which we took home & indulged the next day. It, too, was delicious!! We will return.

The actual food was good. I’m allergic to synthetic fragrance, and there were strong candles burning in the front end of the restaurant. The service and speed thereof could have been interpreted as slow or extra spacious…depends on your mood. We waited a long time for drinks, a long time to order and then between courses. Wine list is very average for a $$$$ dining experience. Mixed specialties were more fun.

This was our 2nd dinner at an Ocean Prime. We had excellent service and the atmosphere was very bright and lively! The food was delicious but I think everything is still over priced for what you get.

Amazing experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and daughter's 18th birthday. We were greeted by the hostess, and sat at a beautiful table decorated with rose petals and a long stemmed rose. Our waiter was very attentive. The oysters were very good, we tried both east and west coast. The calamari was the only dish I wasn't crazy about. The flavor was good, but it was a bit mushy and not crisp. Probably from the veggie topping. The desserts were also very good. We did not feel rushed. Manager checked in to make sure everything was good. It was everything I hoped it would be. We will be back again.

Dining at Ocean Prime is always delightful & delicious. We love their 'early dining menu' options that are available before 6PM. We were not offered it but knew to ask for it & was able to enjoy the selections. Be sure to ask to see it. The French Onion soup, as always, is rich, cheesy & yummy. So good as the cooler days arrive. The Teriyaki Salmon has a rich glaze over the salmon that adds so much to the taste. My husband had the filet & he loved it too. We took our dessert (carrot cake) home to enjoy much later. One thing I would find very helpful is to provide the carry out containers with a top that is a tad bit easier to open. You practically have to break your hand trying to open the container. By then the cake has toppled over & its a mess. Servers were all excellent!

Great service, fine and well prepared food, one drink was almost completely soda with little or not alcohol / returned and not charged, but why would bar serve such a drink ? and would have appreciated overall meal discount based on this bar shorting a drink.

My wife and I came for our anniversary and we were both blown away. The service was excellent from the host to the waiter. Even the bus crew that cleaned the table were so polite and nice. Food came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. The shrimp appetizer was amazing. We both got ribeyes for the main course and it was the best steak either of us have had. Thank you for the rose pedals and making us feel welcome on our special day.

Overall look of the restaurant was nice, but the table cloth was stained. The host at the entrance were very nice and wished my wife a Happy Birthday. The same as our waiter for the evening, he was nice wished her a Happy Birthday but seemed to pay more attention to his other tables than us in my opinion. Not his fault but our food was completely off for what we ordered, the lamb was under cooked, the steak was over cooked and the Brussel sprouts were almost burnt. They also don't or didn't offer a complementary Birthday dessert, as all other upscale restaurants we have visited do.
