Ocean Boulevard Bistro and Martini Bar is an upscale dining restaurant on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We are open nightly for dinner and drinks through all seasons. We pride ourselves in using fresh local and regional ingredients, in season, to create interesting and flavorful meals. We are capable of providing food and cocktails for a large variety of events, on- or off-premise. We often host birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, pharmaceutical dinners, etc. in the restaurant. For larger events such as wedding receptions and large scale anniversary parties, we can cater in your rental property or selected banquet area with a full scale, personally designed menu.

Within the restaurant, we are capable of seating as many as 22 people upstairs for a semi-private event. In our wine room, we can accommodate up to 12. If needed, we can book the downstairs dining area to handle up to 60.

Our private lot is on the side of the restaurant by the front door. When the lot becomes full, we have access to alternate lots in cooperation with the Beachwoods Property Group. These parking lots are located just beyond our adjacent lot, to the west.

After Dinner (10:00pm) on Friday Nights we offer live music with local and regional bands until 1:30am. During the Spring, Summer and Fall, we often have a solo acoustic performer on our Oceanside patio.

We have been coming to Ocean Blvd. since it partnered with the Blue Point Restaurant. We have had mixed experiences, and for some years, we would not choose it. We have come back in the last two years and have been pleasantly surprised. One of the nice things about Blue Point is that they keep track of those of us who come frequently. When we come to Ocean Blvd., the staff acts as though we have never been there before. It is so easy to keep track of loyal customers. You might consider doing that.

The crab cake was not a 40.00 value? I have had many crab cakes at O Blvd and it maybe had a couple of shreds of lump but soo much breading! I was disappointed with my out of town guests there when we ordered it:( Also we were seated at the bar- there were 2 bartenders working, not a big crowd and it took 15 min for my guest to order a beer- we were halfway through our martinis when he got one. I love Ocean Blvd and will continue to come but you asked so I told you.

We went during a tropical storm warning, and they were open and courteous. The restaurant staff called us prior to the reservation time to let us know they were open. The food was delicious, and the specials were very interesting dishes. Our waiter Tom was very attentive and knew the menu cover to cover. The drinks are always crafted with minute details and were good.

I started with a Rye Manhattan. Followed by a seven lettuce salad. Both were good. My main course was the crab cake. It was excellent. My desert was a chocotini. It was a very enjoyable meal. I highly recommend Ocean Boulevard.

I was seated across from my husband but with the windows directly across from me I couldn't see my husbands face. I recommend they seat you facing either north and south not east/west. The waiters were very polite and made an effort to please. As everywhere in the OBX it is hard to find "seasoned" waitstaff. The food was very flavorful, almost too many flavors for my palette. The fish was cooked perfectly, however the accompaniments were too salty for me. Next time I will ask for a more bland dish..I like the fact that they had a limited amount of dishes to pick from. veggies were not overcooked. The bruschetta appetizer was perfect!

It’s just not worth the price. We have had one really fantastic meal here, but our follow-ups have not been good. Tonight the dishes were not hot and seemed to have been sitting for a bit. The halibut was very disappointing (dry and overcooked, not flakey), the lamb was okay, but also cold. The rest of our entrees were very mediocre at best. We also forgot about the bench seats, I think the goal is to turn tables over quickly. So we’ll skip in the future - there is way better food in OBX for a fraction of the price.

The food was delicious. I had the crab cake which was moist and was the right portion size. The wait staff was very knowledgeable. Went the first night for Martini's and the second night for dinner and wine. Will go back the next time that I am at OBX.

I never leave reviews but this meal was too good not to!! Food was exceptional- staff precessional and courteous! They offered to sit us at the chefs table and got a Birds Eye view of the kitchen and it was like fabulous dinner theater! The kitchen was a well oiled machine and fun to watch.

After Hurricane Idalia went by Kitty Hawk, we saw that Ocean Blvd. was going to be open for dinner. We made reservations online, and got the time we wanted. We arrived and were seated right away. The service was great, and the food was even better. I had the crab cake, and my wife had the Salmon. Both were amazing. Great wine list, and will sure to be repeat diners.

Love this restaurant, and I will return! Last night was an “off night”. I did not care for the dinner I ordered, and it took 50 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered it. Otherwise, it was great as usual. Wish they would offer more wines by the glass and change the menu up from time to time.

This is our favorite restaurant on the Outer Banks! Love the food, the chef’s specials are always well thought out and executed perfectly. Todd has been our waiter over the last couple of dinners and he has great wine pairings with our selections! First time we tried a wine pairing with dessert and it complimented the dessert perfectly. This restaurant is truly a treat not to miss!

The food was very good as was the service, however we were seated outside and it was my husbands 72 birthday. We thought outdoor seating would be more desireable and never expected to spend the entire dinner fighting bugs. There were no fans or candles or anything to deter them from crawling all over our food and in our drinks. It really made the evening unpleasant. Outdoor seating at a quality restaurant should be more well thought out and the environment more pleasant!

This was our third year of going to the Ocean Blvd Bistro and Martini Bar and each time we have enjoyed a truly well executed dinner experience. From the moment we entered we were treated as special guests. Service was never rushed always there as needed. The food was deftly prepared by a strong kitchen staff overseen by a skilled chef. When we received the check I was once again pleased to have had a dinner which anywhere else would have been twice the price. Reserve a table and enjoy your meal.
