Ocean @ The Crescent Beach Club
Set within one of Long Island’s most spectacular waterfront venues, Ocean provides guests with an unparalleled dining experience and setting. The restaurant’s architecture, which includes floating sculptures of fish chasing squid through the dining room is bettered only by the panoramic views of the Atlantic waters as they arrive on the beach of the Long Island Sound.
The re-conceptualized new American menu is an unpretentious and honest approach to using quality products (both seasonal and organic) by skilled artisans in a way to provide the best epicurean experience. Our professional and devoted service will make any occasion worth remembering.

Waiter was pretty good. Knowledgeable. The scene is great for date, family, or just quiest dining.
Food was fantastic as well as the service. We had the the stuffed lobster and the tomato & basil chicken. We were not rushed and everyone was very friendly.
Food was decent, nothing special.
View was amazing.
Service was great.
Matt and his crew are amazing. Great food, great service.
Food is delicious, and ambience is exceptional and consistent. Second time dining here and was a repeat visit - just a fabulous!
Would so recommend to impress your guest.
We had a lovely time. The food was delish out and came out in a timely fashion. Our server was perfect and the manager was also attentive. We hadn’t been back since we had our wedding reception there 23yrs ago. It was just as lovely as we remembered. Thank you for a fabulous dinning experience.
Delicious meal. Beautiful view. Definitely recommend
Took amy friend there for her birthday we sat upstairs and had happy hour and appetizers.
We had such a great night!
It’s was nice! Not cold and beautiful scenery
had a good time. the scenery was worth a second visit
Nice view. Mostly quiet. But pricey but food is really good. Overall good experience
I'm having mixed feelings about this place. The view is beautiful, the service was also good but the food they serve doesn't justify the price they charge. I've ordered half a dozen oysters, the mussels, lamb chops, and the seafood pasta. The oysters were the worst, tasted like buffet oysters and they charged $4 each for them. The lamb chops were very chewy and a bit undercooked for a medium rare. The pasta was below average. The only acceptable dish was the mussels but it was nothing special either. I might go back just for the beautiful beach view but definitely won't go there with a hungry stomach.
Our server, Karen, was wonderful offering drink and food suggestions.
Too m7ch ice in drinks and Calamari was salty. Waiter was very courteous and apologetic
Despite having a reservation and arriving 20 minutes early (as requested), my family waited over an hour and 15 minutes to be seated. Then, they were seated next to the staircase and a pillar. we specifically had booked a table with a view and this is what they gave us. The manager was rude from the minute we arrived and the total experience was awful. There are so many other choices in this price range and I will not be returning.
Was great experience and they treated us well! Look forward to coming back next year.
Other than the banana bread dessert, the food was awful.
First I want to say our server Giovanni was amazing!! He was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and super friendly. The food was equally as amazing. We had the skirt steak (phenomenal) and the lamb which was also delicious. We sat upstairs and the view was to die for. Overall this was a great experience and would highly recommend.
We had a 3pm reservation to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we were promptly seated outside to an incredible view of the beach and shoreline. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was wonderful! Giovanni, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive. The bee’s knees cocktails, mussels, lobster, and ocean pasta were all delicious! Overall, it was an amazing experience.
We had lunch as a family of 6. Food and service was excellent and the ambiance, sitting outside overlooking the water with palm tree on the beach, made us feel like we were somewhere in the Caribbean! Looking forward to going again soon!!
We went here this past Fri night with a reservation for high top seating. When we got there we were told there was no seating upstairs. I stated that I had requested it but that it was no big deal, we could sit downstairs. The manager, who was very nice, allowed us to sit upstairs. We were pretty uncomfortable once we got up there being we were the only couple seated. A female waitress said out loud, “Well I’m not taking care of them.” We were basically ignored until the bartender, who was also nice but busy, took our orders. The food was ok. We order the calamari as an appetizer and it was put in front of us with no plates or utensils. These are basic things people need to eat with and we had to ask a separate waiter for them because ours just walked away. The calamari didn’t seem fresh and was chewy. My husbands skirt steak was good but over cooked, he wanted medium rare and it came out well done. My lobster was served to me on a plate that looked like something you would get at a beach food shack. It didn’t come with the seafood cracker and I was fighting to get the meat out. My husband had to ask for the cracker after I was halfway through with my meal because no one came to our table to check on us. The only highlight of the meal was the dessert. We had the bread pudding bites and the banana crumb a la mode and both were delicious. It was our anniversary and it was upsetting that we were treated like a bother.
Delicious dinner excellent service beautiful sunset
Spectacular views. Light menu. Would definitely go again.
The first lunch order of arugula salad with addition of ahi tuna was terrible - smelly stale tuna. - tasteless salad dressing. Sent it back. The 2nd order of chicken sandwiches was ordinary at best (the fries at MacDonalds taste better). A glass of pino noir $12!!???!!!! . Too expensive for an “ordinary diner quality “ lunch. The only good part - the view. Will not be going back.
Beautiful view, food was delicious, service was good and the desserts were to die for..we will definitely be back
Customer service was amazing and the food was really good specially the banana dessert
Beautiful place, great atmosphere, quality of could've been better
Great atmosphere and really good food.. highly recommend.
This is the second time I have been here. Its even more beautiful during the day because of the view. Food was good both times. Will definitely be dining here again.
Beautiful setting, mediocre expensive food.
The food was great and so was the waiter.
I was disappointed that the notes on my reservation were overlooked.
Couldn't get my wife's steak right nor my stepson's . Both were undercooked .Seafood pasta dish was recommended and was just ordinary if that much . The only time I would come back is for sides and a drink , you can't rely on a beautiful location for everything. Was told by some of my guests that the chicken entree and the Hamburger was good both I could cook at home , no wow factor, sorry !
The only thing was they had said the outdoor heaters wouldn’t work due to wind but when we called they said they had them so felt we were mislead. Otherwise it was lovely!!! Thank god it warmed up !
Lobster night and the lobster was a nice size.
Appetizers - limited - Beach salad ok
cold gazpacho was too spicy
Lobster was good but corn horrible
I had the best dining experience in all of 2020 here! From the service when I walked thru the door to the sunset that looked like a painting! The food was to die for and service was superb. The Manager, Mel went above and beyond for our date. Champagne and cocktails coupled with sushi and beyond. There are not enough stars to properly review Ocean @ Crescent Beach Club!
Great food, service, view!
Everything was great! We sat at the sunset deck and had gio as our server! Food, service & view were amazing!
We had a 6:30pm reservation to sit outside. We understand the constraints due to the pandemic. After waiting for 35 minutes, we were escorted to a small table outside of the kitchen on a stairway behind a large concrete support column. At this location, every waitor, waitress, service staff and guest passed our table. We asked the hostess to be moved but she initally told us that she was sorry and that she could do nothing. After we pushed back to our terrific waitor, he pleaded our case and finally the hostess agreed to move us to the first table for two that became avaiilable. Shortly after our drinks were served, we were escorted to a new table with better views but under speakers that blared the music. We went on to enjoy a delicious meal served by our most professional waitor who really saved the day. We have been here before and really love the food but we will think twice before booking here again.
Patrick had EXCELLENT Customer service! I haven’t had that kind of customer service in a long time.
Food is very good. View is phenomenal and the martinis exceptional. This is now a favorite spot for my family and friends.
