Loved this place...amazing options for Mozzarella
Great lunchtime spot casual enough for friends but all works when you have limited time for a more informal business lunch.
Having no baby changer in any bathroom makes it a non inclusive place. we had to change our baby at the table
Great spot for a casual lunch, not very formal so best for meeting friends. Competitive priced menu.
Fantastic food, great venue. We had a G&T each which were Devine! We will be returning very soon
Service was a bit slow. Seemed short of waiting staff.
Great location and friendly waiting staff. Mozzarella/ burrata was overpriced and didn't taste very nice. Tomatoa pasta was OK with too al dente. Cacio e pepe was great as were the desserts we had (tiramisu & cake + ice cream combo).
The staff are fantastic, incredible friendly and fun even during a busy lunch shift.
The pizza = epic!!!
A very good meal. Just a little difficult to attract waiting staff’s attention and I always find this restaurant a bit too noisy when full. But the food was really excellent and overall it was a very good experience.
It’s gone downhill. Bad food, corporate ambience, indifferent staff. They couldn’t even offer a bread basket when I went. What kind of restaurant runs out of bread baskets.
Our waitress struggled with the idea we didn't want to sit right next to another table in a fairly empty restaurant. The olives ordered never arrived (but at least weren't charged for).
That aside the food was fine and arrived fairly swiftly, the ambience was good and the environment not too noisy. Happy to go back
Restaurante has a very good ambience and it is very elegant! Staff is amazing specially two portuguese gentleman that were very kind, professional and gave us very good suggestions about the food. Some plates are slightly overpriced but I will still go back there. The alcohol free cocktails are great. Generally a very nice place to spend your evening with friends and also for a romantic dinner 😊
Service wasnt great but food was good. We went on a Wednesday night, not too busy - I would worry if it were any busier given the absence of any awareness from the servers - our main plates stayed on our table for about 40 minutes with no offer of dessert so we just requested the bill once our server re-appeared back onto the floor. Food was nice though, I would return to give another chance and if the same then refuse to pay the service charge which was added.
The food was very good, but the service was appalling. For an Italian bar, the choice of good wines from the region wasn’t great either.
Great food as always and service was good as well!
Nice food - shame about the service.
Upon arriving at Obicà Mozzarella bar we were told that we would need to vacate our table in 1hr 15 mins. Not the best welcome when I was intending to treat my team to a nice long lunch (and spend a lot of money in the process). We were then rushed through ordering, waiters tried to clear our plates before we had finished (several times) and we were offered dessert menus before they were promptly withdrawn because ‘we didn’t have time’.
I won’t be ‘rushing’ to return
Really tasty pizza
Service was exceptional, the food was delicious! The only down side was the bread we had on the side was a little stale. Overall it was a wonderful evening!
We booked a table for the afternoon anticipating the restaurant being quieter for an easier discussion.
The restaurant was nearly empty apart from us and everything was clean and well organised.
The initial service was a little slow but the waiter handled our orders including allergies for one of the diners without any problems.
The food arrived quickly and was fresh, the portions were reasonable. One of our party had pizza which was good, I had a chicken salad which lacked anything special in terms of flavour.
Settling the bill took some time as I suppose the staff were using the quiet period for prep and conversation.
Overall the price paid and the ambience were good but the food and the service were simply average.
I have eaten in the Canary Wharf restaurant where the food was excellent but the venue less enjoyable, I would come again but stick to some of the more flavoursome options on the menu.
Great lunch spot for catching up with friends and lovely fresh food
Great food but portions on the smaller side. Location and ambience great. Struggled to get the waiters attention on several occasions
I liked the menu (which was focussed) the décor and the service. The only issue I had was the noise levels: all those shiny surfaces meant no sound was absorbed, so you had to shout to be heard. Otherwise, very good.
I’ve been to other obica locations and had good expectations based on other location visits.
This location was pretty disappointing - quite dark, the tables were jammed together and service was inattentive. No pepper on the table (and none offered), no pasta spoons, after the food was plunked down on the table no one came back until we had all finished eating so no opportunity to request pepper or cutlery. We had to remind twice for coffees and the bill. Food was average quality, nothing special. I wouldn’t refuse to visit again but wouldn’t go out of my way to either. I would visit other locations again though, the menu was nice overall.
I used to like Obica, but on my last visit it did not work for me; I came with a friend and we were left to stand for 10 minutes, even though we had a reservation and there were empty tables, I had a salad, which could have been very good if it had not been smothered in sauce, altogether the reception was less than welcoming; disappointing.
Really yummy food, great service, and a vibe that’s a bit more business dinner than I personally like, but lovely nonetheless.
I booked Obica with the voucher of a free glass of wine with a main meal and it lived it up to it. We were able to taste test between the 2 wines and had excellent service. Would recommend the pastas (especially the truffle pasta).
Horrible over priced food. All dishes were bland and tasteless and mediocre at best. Really think it’s better than it is - was a pretty inadequate meal
It had music so loud it was like a club night .
We went on a Thursday evening which it turned out was DJ Night with necessarily loud music playing which destroyed the ambience in my opinion. The service was good and I enjoyed my pizza. However, my wife found her pasta was a bit bland.
I've been to Obica many times and always happy. But this visit, we had a table of 10 people. Unfortunately two people had to leave early for work commitments, and hence asked for their food to be in take away containers.
The chicken salad ordered (large for £17) was equivalent in size to a £3 supermarket salad. Daylight robbery for £17!! Similarly for the pasta.
Service was slow and noise levels incredibly loud. Disappointed.
Fab menu - definitely recommend the Sharer Mozzarella Starter. Great service and decent wine menu. Modern surroundings. Enjoyed a really nice family meal!
Very smart inside and lovely food. The tables are a little too close together for my liking, which lets it down a bit. Otherwise, a really nice place to eat.
Way overpriced for the quality and portion size. Not worth it at all.
Lovely venue, delicious food and very attentive service
Establishment is sub par but the food is good!
Average service and minimal atmosphere
Great food, you can get a range of small plates and try a few things
Went with friends for an early supper, great choice and all meals were superb plus good value. Would go again and would recommend
We ordered 2 courses, a sharing starter (as recommended by the waiter) and a main each.
The food portion size was small, our main courses arrived with our starters which I didn’t like.
The offer on open table for this restaurant was a free glass of wine for each main ordered. This offer did not appear on my booking, however the restaurant staff still honoured the offer which was very kind. The wine was great, but was not a glass - it was less than half a glass of wine.
Overall the restaurant ambience was good, the food flavour and taste was good but I wouldn’t return as I left hungry and usually I’m relatively full from a main course.
We had the best evening at Obicà! The food was AMAZING. Very high quality and tasty, very good value for money. The service was fantastic and very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again!
