We love Lisa (Mimi)!!! Food was great as always.
Oasis Cafe always has good food and service. I appreciate the no corkage fee so that I can bring and try different wines not usually available in local restaurants. It was too cold for the patio this visit but that's a great space.
Marty, our server was excellent. Halibut special cooked to perfection. Mediterranean salad is huge. Roasted tomato and fennel soup delicious, as was the beet tower salad. We wish this restaurant was closer to the theaters and symphony hall, so we wouldn't have to drive to it before a concert. But it is worth the drive and time spent.
Our server, Marty, was superb. The food was fantastic, if a bit pricey for the portions. The problem we encountered was a group of young women next to us, who had a volume and mood of conversation more fitting for a bar or casual pub dining experience, which cramped our celebration dinner as we could no longer hear each other and ended up eating and leaving quickly.
Tried and true, friendly, a little quirky, with very good food on the healthy side.
The only complaint was that we had 5 in our party and they put us on a small 4 person table and wasn't room for all of the items we ordered.
There was a 6 person table that was free and later on they seated 4 people there. Kinda ticked me off.
The food and service were excellent, they make all items from scratch. Food came out piping hot and full of flavor, will for sure go back again and try their dinner items.
Great food and great service! My go-to place when I have a group of diverse dietary preferences like vegetarian, vegan and “will eat anything”! Love that we can also get adult beverages.
Great food, great service, to pricy, to noisy. Next time I will ask to be seated away from the noisy table. And turn the volume down on the music.
Lovely experience. I love coming here now! Easter brunch was really good.
Valentine's dinner was perfect.
Great food, very reasonable price, excellent service. Comfortable relaxed environment w both indoor and outdoor seating.
I normally always have a good experience at Oasis. This last Sunday for brunch, it was just kinda...meh. I got the omelette with side potatoes. The omelette was watery, the potatoes tasted stale. Not terrible, just kinda average. My glass for the tea had lipstick stains on it. We pointed it out to our server, honestly he could have cared less. He brought a new one, which was fine. No apology or even a general acknowledgement that it was anything out of the ordinary. Anyway, like i said, I normally always have a good experience here. Hopefully Sunday was just an anomaly.
Lisa our server was simply amazing.
Waiter was great -- efficient and friendly. Food was very good. I've been there before and this was another good experience.
Really nice gem of a restaurant next to a bookstore. They have something for everyone, and the food was all delicious. Extremely reasonably priced, and the patio outdoors looked like it would be really nice in the summer. Highly recommend!
The service is outstanding. The food is okay but not great.
This was my first time dining at Oasis, and I definitely will go back. Everyone in our group ordered a different lunch item and the consensus was that everyone's food was delicious! I especially liked that the Reuben Sandwich could be ordered with Portobello Mushroom rather than Pastrami. The service was excellent and the prices won't "break the bank." To avoid a wait, I recommend making a reservation especially if you have a large group.
Highly recommend! Love this restaurant! Delicious! I had tomato, fennel soup and beef salad.
one thing we always like about Oasis is browsing the attached book store before or after dining.
Great experience! We've been for brunch several times but just never thought about going for dinner. Very happy with the service, food (salmon was amazing) and price!! We will be back!
It was great!
Four of us stop here regularly for dinner before attending SLAC performances. The Oasis is always reliable for quick and friendly service and good food. First time we've had Dustin for a server and we hope it's not the last. MichaelAnn and Lindsey are also excellent.
We were seating by the bookstore entrance outside of the main dining area, just the two of us. The cafe had this valentine theme and had decorated but sat us away from everyone, which usually I wouldn’t complain about, except the flow of of shoppers, employees emptying the trash, and the echo of the hustle around us was annoying. Lesson learned.
We had a delicious dinner. Our server also made stellar recommendations though the fixed menu was an incredible selection. We look forward to going here every Valentines Day.
After several friends strongly recommend Oasis, I finally went. The food was okay and the service was friendly, but I don't get the hype. Won't be back soon.
The salmon with arugula waa cooked to perfection. I substituted grilled asparagus to make the meal dairy free. Excellent flavor and texture combinations! The fruit sorbets were superb for dessert. Not too sweet and very creamy.
Oasis doesn’t stop pleasing!
Been here many times, the first real disappointment. Fish was good, mashed potatoes barely warm. Beets chopped in tiny pieces--tasted like canned beets. Chocolate "decadent" cake was dry. Cappucino 85% foam, waitress not exactly friendly, never offered any sugars with the coffee, or offered us the specials. Very weird. Will think twice about going back anytime soon--so many other options available now...
Best chai latte ever! Our server, Dax, was very personable. Highly recommend!
the pictures online showed this restaurant to be quite cozy. I was expecting it to be a bit more decorated.
What a fabulous experience! Our server Dustin was absolutely outstanding in every way and the food was truly great. We came for New Year’s Eve dinner and with a prix fixe menu, we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of accommodating several dietary restrictions (one gluten-free, one shellfish allergy and one vegetarian). Dustin was great and helped us all find great options that fit our needs and tastes. He went out of his way to be sure we all had everything we needed, including bringing some tasty gluten free bread, which for gluten free folks is always an unexpected bonus. The food was all really delicious form appetizer to desserts, and each of us left with a serious food buzz. Highly recommend!
Our server Lisa made the evening. She was attentive, very personable, knowledgeable about the menu and preparation of the food.
Something I have always liked about the Oasis, no matter how full they are the noise level is more than tolerable.
Great food and great service!
We are regulars there, mostly for brunch, sometimes for lunch or dinner. It's a friendly place and
comfortable to be in. The food is good, with some very good specials. Service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. We like to take friends or family there.
The Oasis Cafe is consistently good. That’s why it lasts.
Oasis is still one of our all time favorites. It has yet to disappoint! Love it. Would always recommend it for brunch, dinner, whenever!
Have been to Oasis Cafe numerous times and have never been disappointed. Great food and great service.
Always enjoy the food and the environment. I would highly recommend it to friends and relatives.
Oasis has been a favorite of ours for a number of years. Excellent menu, great Vegan options and excellent service. The Tomato soup is the best anywhere. We always start with that. I highly recommend Oasis!
The food was impeccable and beautifully prepared. The service was perfect - attentive but not invasive.
It was great to have a reservation. I was seated immediately even before the rest of my group arrived. Great table, great food, great service.
