Continually a fantastic time at o ya. The food, service and ambience is always perfect. A definite must visit if coming to boston and looking for a top notch dining experience.
Outstanding! Obviously not a cheep experience but one worth every penny!
Unforgettable experience; food was a true delight and service was on point. Looking forward to visiting O ya again! Loved it
Back and better than ever. Outstanding menu selections. Was immaculately clean and had tons of space between tables. Can’t wait to come back again.
As always the food is spectacular as well as the service!! They have made the experience as memorable as well as making the environment safe!
Absolutely amazing!
Back and better than ever!
Likely one of the best restaurants in the city of Boston!
$250 omakase with lowest quality and fewest option lol
OYa has been on my list for way too long. I will simply say that everything was outstanding!! From service to each perfectly created bite, the experience was a a truly memorable one.
Best japanese in boston , great flavor combos, awesome atmosphere, great service.
Easily the best restaurant in Boston (and not only for Japanese cuisine). Definitely my favorite restaurant: great food, great service, and great ambiance.
No cheap but worth every dollar.
Highly recommend dining here with friends/loved ones and make it an experience. Your taste buds will thank you and you'll remember the evening long after the meal is over.
This was the best meal of our lives. Service was impeccable.
I made this reservation before the Trump market crash. So I felt like I was eating money, instead of sushi
Excellent food, great presentation, great alcohol pairings. Faberge egg was terrific. Must try the grande omakase but skip lunch that day.
Really good food and service, just severely overpriced.
Amazing experience! The food is truly a cut above, think this is the best restaurant in Boston.
O Ya was the perfect place for our anniversary dinner. We had a wonderful time and we loved sitting at the bar so we could watch the chefs create artwork right in front of us.
Unbelievably incredible food for both sushi lover as well as non. Every bite was buttery velvet and served with artistry. Just wow.
Outstanding food and service. Presentation was amazing and the range of flavors was a great surprise. Prices were somewhat shocking. Be prepared to spend! But the quality of the food and the service makes the experience worthwhile.
Really wonderful omakase experience. Pricy, but well worth it for making a special occasion truly memorable.
Once-in-a-lifetime experience. The service was incredible the food was delicious creative and beautiful. The ambience was elegant yet laid-back. Would definitely go again!
Excellent as usual. The flavors just explode in your mouth. Foodie worthy.
Fantastic experience with awesome food.
Not sure if the Omakase is worth it though (adding-up the dishes it might come at a slight discount)
But you’re definitely in for some nice surprises you might not have tried otherwise.
We got a dish that was not on the menu and that one was fantastic!
Warning Open Table customers, if you book through Open Table at O Ya, you will be seated at the corner, if you want to sit at a table you have to call ahead and change your booking to a table. Other than that, food was some of the best I've had in Boston, the waiter was incredibly helpful and exuberant, and O Ya is intimate enough that you could actually hear the person sitting across from you. It's expensive, but I still give it 5 stars.
O Ya charges a premium for their omakase by shoving expensive ingredients like foie gras, caviar, truffle, and gold leaf onto mediocre fish. Their beverage pairing was also ridiculously overpriced, as I was able to find 5 of the drinks at liquor stores around the area for $30 a bottle. I understand restaurant markup, but at $150 for the pairing, I would expect such an establishment to at least give me something I couldn't find within a 10 minute bike ride. The pacing of the omakase was also extraordinarily bad. Some dishes came out in such rapid succession that I had to hurry to finish my previous course (sitting at the bar, I could see when the next dish was already prepared and waiting for me). At other times, I waited up to 15 minutes for the next dish to come. I vastly prefer Cafe Sushi (for a more traditional sushi experience) and Uni (for a similar 'modern' experience).
Sushi was unique and tasty. We enjoyed it very much!
Probobly my best restaurant experience ever. We sat at the chef’s table, barseats, and got to watch the chefs work while we ate. Great 👍🏻🎉
The food was exceptional, but the drink pairing was mediocre. For the price point I expected something a bit more interesting and a bit better paired. Last time, the drink pairing was a lot of fun, it was all sake, and i tried so many interesting pours. This time, it included both wine and sake, it was boring, and not that good.
Had an amazing time coming here and the food was ABSOLUTELY delicious- definitely want to come back again :)
Wonderful flavors!
Food was amazing! Great experience, we enjoyed everything!
Best food in Boston, hands down!!!
Went here for my wife’s birthday, third trip here ever. We love it. The service is great. Beverage menu is solid. Food is incredible. We always get the chefs menu. It’s always so darn good. Wish we got more food for the price, but hard to complain too much.
We tried the Omakase, which is a selection of 17 dishes from the a la carte menu. All dishes were selected to give an overview of all there is on the menu and the waiter will mark of which dish you are just having. The restaurant was quit having just opened at 5pm but was filled by the time we left. For the omakase you should plan about 2hours. Staff and waiters are very nice and personable.
A truly splendid experience with unparalleled food and service in the Boston area. If you're a sushi fan, treat yourself to this outstanding restaurant. It's not cheap, but it is magnificent.
Always worth the splurge
World Class. Top dining experience I’ve ever had. Service five stars. White truffle grand omakase menu... don’t get me started. Left feeling inspired.
Amazing dining experience. We enjoyed the Omasake with wine pairings. One of my all time favorite restaurant experiences.
The food is wonderful and the service is excellent
