Great as usual!
While the idea of a 20 course tasting menu is a good idea a lot of the same main ingredients are repeated multiple times on the menu. While fish quality was ok I thought I could get the same or better quality at Fiji.
As always it was a wonderful experience. The food is fantastic and the staff is always great. We always look forward to it!
Everything about O-ya is fantastic
The food was phenomenal, wish there could be more to be had sooo tasty and fresh. All I could think was I want more. The final taste before the sweet was foi gras. The flavours blended so well it was orgasmic it sent me to heaven. Hiro - chef, Thank you!!
o ya is one of the best restaurants in Boston. Everything was delicious!
Food was excellent.
Excellent, will definitely go again, although I just tried to make another reservation 2 months hence, but they were booked, even that far in advance.
We drove 60 miles to dine there, then 60 miles back. It was worth the drive. We got there 1/2 hour early, but they seated us anyway. Much appreciated.
One of the items included squid ink, which, after trying squid ink pasta in Italy :(, concerned me. Not to worry, it was a delicious as all of the rest of the dishes.
The Waygu beef slices were perfect and exquisite.
I was amazed by the potato chip and truffles nigiri. Who'd have thought of that?
I wish I could remember what kind of cold sake they served us, it was the best I've ever had.
This is our favorite restaurant and it always exceeds our expectations. The fixed Omikase menu had so many awesome tastes I wouldn't know where to start to pick my favorite. It is certainly expensive but if you can live with that, you won't find better food or service anywhere.
Great Meal, everything was wonderful and looking forward to seeing this restaurant back at normal capacity. Engaging with the chefs at the sushi bar during the meal was the only thing I missed. Best of luck.
Amazing. Simply amazing.
Nothing else to ad. Only 1 dish that I did not care for and that was personal preference, they brought out something else for me..... no complaints...
Will be back!
The food was amazing. We had so much fun and enjoyed every bite. Such a great little spot, too. Cozy atmosphere with a great staff.
O ya is an outstanding Sushi restaurant. The bites in the Omakase were delicious and very creative. We had the Saki flight and enjoyed all the choices. I wish it wasn't so expensive so I could afford to go more often.
Always fantastic experience dining here. Best omakase I have had. Best sushi in Boston without a doubt. Great for a special occasion.
Excellent excellent experience. Very expensive. Worth it, but expensive.
20 plus courses of amazing.
An incredible dining experience from start to finish. Absolutely phenomenal.
Excellent dinner! We are so happy that O Ya is up and running again! Went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything on the Omakase menu was delicious and service was impeccable as usual. Tables were spaced out accordingly and there was an air purifier. Well done!
Not a cheap night out but worth every penny! Food is amazing and the waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They did a wonderful job adhering to Covid procedures and it felt very safe.
I’ve been waiting for 1 year (COVID-19),This is my second time to celebrate my Valentine’s Day,The food was excellent, Wine paring was excellent too,We really enjoyed. ❤️
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston, so glad they have re-opened!
O ya is one of the best restaurants in the world! And I’ve been to places. Always a treat. Thank you!
Phenomenal. The best in Boston - hands down
Food was delicious and served quickly. We will be back. Only dislike was the Wygu beef, too much fat, but that was a small complaint.
Continually a fantastic time at o ya. The food, service and ambience is always perfect. A definite must visit if coming to boston and looking for a top notch dining experience.
Outstanding! Obviously not a cheep experience but one worth every penny!
Unforgettable experience; food was a true delight and service was on point. Looking forward to visiting O ya again! Loved it
Back and better than ever. Outstanding menu selections. Was immaculately clean and had tons of space between tables. Can’t wait to come back again.
As always the food is spectacular as well as the service!! They have made the experience as memorable as well as making the environment safe!
Back and better than ever!
Likely one of the best restaurants in the city of Boston!
$250 omakase with lowest quality and fewest option lol
OYa has been on my list for way too long. I will simply say that everything was outstanding!! From service to each perfectly created bite, the experience was a a truly memorable one.
Best japanese in boston , great flavor combos, awesome atmosphere, great service.
Easily the best restaurant in Boston (and not only for Japanese cuisine). Definitely my favorite restaurant: great food, great service, and great ambiance.
No cheap but worth every dollar.
Highly recommend dining here with friends/loved ones and make it an experience. Your taste buds will thank you and you'll remember the evening long after the meal is over.
