O Steaks & Seafood South Ratings and Reviews
Everything was perfect - great apps, drinks....
Then our meal came out... filets x 5 ordered and 4 were mixed up, undercooked, not cooked to order, etc... The waitress offered to send them back to the kitchen but we mistakenly did not take her up on that offer - couples switched plates hoping to make it better but in the end it was gross and just didn't work out... The manager took one filet off the bill and served the entire table free dessert - our bill was still over $600... bit pricey but we were really enjoying the drinks and apps... not sure I'd risk it again... wish this had not happened... we were looking forward to a great experience.
Restaurant was crowded with folks going to a Christmas concert later in the evening. Server was rushed but attentive when she arrived to take our order. The drinks were great, the appetizer was delicious (oysters and meat pops) and the entrees were very good. It is very likely we will go back and try it again when we are not pressed for time.
The service was suburb. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was outstanding especially the Mac and Cheese. Food was brought to the table at a great pace. We waited the right amount of time between courses. Around us was quiet and we were able to enjoy conversation. The restaurant however, was not crowded.
The only down side I see and that would be true for any restaurant or business in this location is parking. Luckily, we came at an odd time on a Sunday so we were able to secure parking easily.
We were a party of 10 and our waitress was exceptional, I wish I could remember her name.
The food was delicious, although I have to admit, I got the tuna stir fry one and it was not the way I expected it to be given the description. We have now been here 3 times and would definitely go back again.
How wonderful! I'd never heard of it, and will definitely be back.
WIfe's favorite app is calamari, and this was surprisingly good, a bit piquant, very tasty! The Beefeater martini was not cheap but well worth it, with delicious hand-stuffed blue cheese olives. Staff was great, my salmon and her steak tips were most satisfying.
o's in concord,nh offers a wonderful outdoor dining experience as well as indoors. The appetizers, which is what we had, are plentiful enough to share, DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. this place is perfect for before or after an event and the staff is very friendly & accommodating. Definitely worth a repeat visit!
My husband and I went to O Steaks & Seafood to celebrate my birthday. We were not disappointed! We got a table for two in a corner of their large dining room where it was quiet and away from the kitchen and main populous of the dining room. Our server was fast and knowledgeable of the menu. We had surf and turf which was delicious and generous. We got two glasses of wine to go with the meal, one red for the 'turf' and white for the 'surf'. The white was the best we have ever had! For dessert we shared a creme brûlée and since it was my birthday, it was on the house 🎁 We will definitely recommend the restaurant and look forward to another great dining experience!👍
We always look forward to coming here for lunch whenever we are in town. When we passed by last night the place was packed but for lunch on a Saturday it was very quiet.
We loved our sweet and sour calamari, cashew chicken lettuce wraps, macaroni and cheese, and the fantastic kobe burger w/sweet potato fries. Excellent caramel cheesecake for dessert.
Good wines by the glass and excellent service from Emily.
They were training our waitress and we waitress and we waited over 30 min for someone to come over. Finally when the waitress and her trainer came over the nds tasted waitress had no clue what the specials were and the ones she knew she could not pronounce. Food was daughters burger was horrid and my husbands pastrami did not even taste like pastrami . My lobster roll had wilted lettuce in it. Not impressed
Service was lacking, had to ask several time to bring out sinks throughout the dinner. Orders and expensive glass to go with dinner - it came (after asking for it a second time) half way thru the meal. strange atmosphere in dining room. Loud. Not going back
I do recommend O's, but definitely not for the ridiculously overpriced Mother's Day buffet featuring the sort of breakfast choices you get free at any chain motel -- oh, and some decent beef and some dry and overcooked pork. If only we had been able to make a reservation at a convenient time for their regular menu!
I would only recommend for its proximity to Capital Theater, making it a good destiny a location before seeing a show. Short ribs were very good, but so called 'Kobe' strips were dry, cooked more medium than medium rare, and doubtful they were really 16 oz.; but even if they were, not worthy of their $40 price tag. Better off sticking with non-steak menu items.
We were looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. It was a Sunday so our other "go to" restauarant was closed so we decided to check it out. The ambiance was warm and inviting, our server was pleasant and helpful and the food...well, we had a hard time choosing which entree to order. We ordered the Kobe Pops- they melted in your mouth. I had the lamb special which was served over fig risotto. His dish should be on the nightly menu! My husband ordered the steak and that was served to perfection.
It is so refreshing to have an upscale and fantastic restaurant in Concord, we often find ourselves traveling to Manchester otherwise. We will absolutely be back!
Lunch was good but the price for it was too high. $75 for lunch in Concord seems a bit much. The service was great! The fish I had was good but so hot that it was overcooked after a few bites. It was so hot that it burned my mouth. That was the fish and not the batter that was so hot.
We LOVED our time at O's for Valentine's Day. We ordered the Tuna Nachos and Sweet and Sour Calamari to start: amazing, fresh, and wonderful! We shared the Mushroom Ragu with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon; the pasta was fresh and tender and the sauce was beautifully flavored. If we weren't so stuffed we would have happily finished with piece of Liquid Chocolate Cake and a cup of Irish Coffee. We left with a flower and full, satisfied tummies! We will definitely be back!
I proposed to my fiance on her birthday and then took her to this restaurant for dinner. But the food was undercooked and over priced. She ordered the short ribs and corn pudding. The beef was under seasoned and the pudding was cold. After she sent it back, it was brought back to us with the same beef plopped onto microwaved corn pudding. I ordered the seafood risotto, which was undercooked as well. Gritty rice and rubbery scallops made for a regrettable meal. On the plus side, the atmosphere was nice, but there waiter was slow and was not around hardly at all. What is a memorable night for us will now always have a negative element as well unfortunately.
I took my wife for her birthday & it was great. The food was perfect - slightly larger than expected portion size (usually expect European portion sizes at this type of restaurant). The drink selection was great & it was very quiet (though we did go on a Sunday at 7 so I don't know how it is on Saturday).
The only critique I could give is that there were many open tables, but we were seated in the very back corner of the restaurant against with our elbows against a wall. Not a big deal as it didn't bother me enough to request a new table.
As a lover of Lamb shanks I was disappointed for the second time with the shanks I had there. I told my group I would never have it again there. It seemed old. Possibly cooked days before and heated up before plated. We had made the O a tradition to go to after my daughters performances. For $32 dollars you would think the food would be hot, moist and juicy like a true shank. Time to move on. What a disappointment.
