    Summerlicious menu offers lots of choice - gazpacho, salmon and key lime dessert were amazing. Impressed with the attentive staff and very near Mirvish theatres on King.

    We waited almost one hour just to get the Appetizer. We did summerlicious at lunch. We only get 1 hour for lunch. The service was extremely slow. My colleagues had to end up leaving and taking the food with them to go back to work. The rice from the poke bowl was undercooked. Very hard. I will never go back.

    Lovely fresh salad with added protein. It had been many years since I had eaten here, I remember it as being a bit mundane, but yesterday the food was outstanding!

    We had the loveliest evening. Saba was our server and she was just awesome. Honestly she is one of the best I have ever had. The food was amazing. I casually mentioned it was my friend's birthday and lo and behold Saba arranged a lovely surprise for her. I was so impressed that one of the first questions she asked was if we had any food allergies. My daughter does have a food allergy and thar means a lot. She loves to go to Canteen because she knows it is safe and that means a lot. Thank you Canteen--we will see you soon.

    We were a table of 9 celebrating a birthday and had just been to The Royal Alex for Clue. OB Canteen was the perfect spot after a matinee. Our server, Saba was spot on with our order and some special requests we had. The Happy Hour drink selections were great. There was an additional Lime cake off menu that was delicious. Everything went so well. OB Canteen continues to impress and maintain it’s high standards!

    Went for breakfast with a group of 10 (including kids). Great service and options for everyone! I had the Halloumi French Toast, which was a perfect balance of sweet, salty and tart. Can't wait to go and try the other options!

    I was wondering where to go with some friends for a light bite and some drinks after a theatre matinee on Wednesday and one of our group suggested Canteen at TIFF Bell Lightbox. It turned out to be a great suggestion as the restaurant was close by, not very crowded and was clean and nicely appointed. The food that everyone had was excellent and the service was superb. The prices too were not outrageous and we all found that we got good value for our money. Next time when I'm at the theatre or seeing a movie there, I won't hesitate to go back for a great casual dining experience.
