The food was terrific and given the issues with out door dining, we were warm and comfortable.

Outdoor patio in October due to Covid restrictions. Cold. Not the restaurant's fault.

We were seated in a dark corner although they had other tables. They should have a heater or some light in that area. They were also sold out of oysters which was a slight turn off. It took a while for service as we were in the far corner in the dark with only two other tables. Two good things were the Korean chicken bites. The flavour was really good but it definitely was not bite size. They were big pieces on a skewer. Also my friend had the burger and shoe string fries which were tasty. I really wish O&B Canteen would be better.

Love the food. Will admit miss pre COVID menu but so glad to have them open. Patio great. Staff very friendly and attentive. Only time I have had a too loud music issue I mentioned and music was turned down. Am turning into a regular here.

While my reservation was confirmed, the restaurant was not open upon arrival.

Everything was delicious (steaks, sliders, trifle) and the service was attentive. There are heaters on the patio which is great during this colder weather. We left very satisfied and very full :)

Our waitress was so sweet and did a great job. She was very on top of things. Brown hair and slight accent. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but I thought that she deserved comments for doing a great job.

Had a nice dinner outside at patio. Service was good. Flat iron steak was not the best cut of meat but was done as orderd. French fries and appatizers were very good

Very good food and very good service! Cobb salad with salmon was very good and really recommend to ask for some fries. Great option for casual dining

The staff were exceptional - everyone we dealt with was polite, curteous and energetic.

The place is clean and I feel safe to dine in there at their patio.

I came here for dinner after getting married in a microceremony at Malaparte. Service was excellent and we we even given 2 complimentary glasses of champagne and a pork belly bao appetizer (which was delicious!)

All the food was excellent and my husband and I enjoyed some oysters to start. They had buck a shuck oysters that day with the purchase of a beverage. Highly recommend coming for that. For a main course, I had the salmon nicoise salad which was incredibly good. The salmon was tender and the skin was crisp. The portion was also huge and I ended sharing some with my husband who had the pad thai with shrimp. He also enjoyed his meal.

The ambience was lovely and is a great spot for people watching. Patio is spacious and social distancing is not a problem. Highly recommend!

Good service as usual, food was not as good as usual

Have to say the Sunday brunch here is one of my favourites in downtown Toronto.

great, set us up at a table we didn't like. they immediately moved us. good was delicious, location is awesome, waitress was nice.

We split a bunch of apps and they were good! Although, I did feel like the chicken skewers and empanadas were a bit over priced for what they were

Nice place to get a bite, and a great value too for the quality of the good. I wish the servers were more attentive, and I understand at the time of this review we’re experiencing COVID and it has had an effect on everyone. But otherwise, we left this place full, satisfied, and happier than we arrived (and that’s all that matters!).

Food:
- Cocktails are a bit too much on the sweeter side
- Oysters are fresh and clean
- Mushroom soup was a bit washout than I had before but still pretty good
- Cobb salad was tasty but the dressing was a bit too salty for my taste and a bit too little greens

Service:
- Outstanding service from the waitress: very attentive but not disruptive at all; tone was light-hearted but respectful; mask was don properly at all times; drinks and food were served properly from behind us instead of across in front of us (which was very good) and she would apologize ahead if she needs to reach across the table
- Utensils were adequately clean and appropriate

Ambience:
- Acceptably clean patio tables and chairs
- Not much patio decor though
- Pedestrians could get pretty close within 2 metres when they walked by on the other side of the barriers
- Nice level of noise from King St. as expected
- A bit disappointed that it did not enforce mandatory face-covering as I bumped into another guest without mask waiting for washroom indoor

The social-distancing ruling was followed accordingly much to my relief.
As only my 2nd patio foray since the lockdown, this was such a good experience all round.

Good patio, not too busy

The sound track of in your face rock & roll from 90's was obnoxious. I mentioned it three times to wait staff and nothing was done to change it or lower volume. It did not serve the restaurant menu or its delicious food. You should know that I was alone so it was not about being able to hear conversation. If I was accompanied I believe my response would have been to change venus before ordering.

We went to O&B Canteen before the theatre. They have a nice menu with many choices. My daughter had the ALT sandwich which has avocado, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, arugula and aioli on multigrain bread with fries. She loved it. I had the fish and chips. The portion size was good and the coleslaw was very tasty. I also enjoyed the fries. For dessert, we shared a carrot cake - their signature dessert. It's always good. Not only was the food very good but so was the service. The server was very friendly and attentive. I recommend it and I would return to this location.

Enjoyable. Welcoming. Good selection of food for some fussy tastes. Allowed adjustments to menu items. I am already a regular but first tie with family. Definitely will go continue to frequent

Nice place to grab a light meal and drink after work. Book a table as it fills up with theatre-goers after 6pm

Restaurant was very quiet after 5PM, food was delicious and portion size was decent. Service was a bit slow though, considering there were no other customers.

Great service and amazing offer on 1/2 price wine bottles. Food was amazing as always.

The poached salmon was heaven!

Our server was prompt, attentive and friendly. All four in our party enjoyed our entrees and we made it to the theatre with time to spare.

Disappointing. Our food: flavour was good. Eggs etc were cold and potatoes were hot. Server was very good even though he was very busy. Menu was misleading . Smoked salmon on the benny was extra but menu did not reflect that.

Overall a great place to eat prior to theatre. The wait staff were excellent and the food was great. We both had the flat-iron steak which was a perfect size. The wine list was short but had everthing to suit most folks. Dining room was a bit noisy but since it was one large room, that might be expected.

This was my second visit in 2 weeks - the staff are super friendly- and the food is delicious. This will be my go-to restaurant when I am in the area because I am sure that I will always enjoy my time there.

Everything was Great, however, the air quality could be better.

The food is great and the location is good if you are seeing a show. Make sure you keep an eye on when you order through. An error was made and it took over 40 minutes to get our food. Our server was wonderful and did her best to correct and compensate us for the kitchen's error.

Interesting flavours, yummy food, would highly recommend it

My first time dining there and it exceeded all expectations. Great overall experience from ambiance, service to great food. Was a perfect start to a perfect day.
