It’s fine for what it is
Great service, excellent food and very friendly staff. Enjoyed our experience.
Everything was amazing! Other oerson in my party couldnt make it & Antonio got me a seat at the bar!
Great service, excellent food and awesome company.
Had dinner prior to the Yankee-Red Sox playoff game. Everything was top notch. Only tho g if it gets closer to game time it can be loud
The Yankee Steak House at the Stadium is better then the one in New York. Don't know why, but it is! Parking lots are the only option to park by car.
The service and food are just like the Yankees - big hitters (in my book). Maureen was a gem, the lobster tails were cooked just right and the Yankees won.
Great place to dine before a Yankees game! The steaks are delicious and all the sides we tried were very good.
Excellent dining experience, ordered the filet and it was well made
The food and service was very good and would have rated the overall experience very good but it was a nightmare getting into the restaurant. We had 1:00 reservations and the early gates didn't open until 2:00. Directions said to go to Gate 6 however no one at the gate could tell us what to do. It was like they never heard of the restaurant or they just couldn't be bothered. The worker at the Hard Rock Cafe didn't know either but he called his supervisor who never called him back. We eventually did go in that way and after a few more questions asked we finally found someone who could tell us where to wait. Everything was much better after we got into the restaurant. The dining experience was very nice and relaxing and we did enjoy everything we ordered from appetizers to entrees to dessert.
Great service, the quality of the dishes was unexpected, the seat are comfy. Wine list is well priced too. Perfect recipe for a great night a the Yankees stadium.
We have dined at this steakhouse at Yankee stadium several times. Unfortunately we have had problems with the reservation process at this restaurant. We arrived for an early dinner with friends only to be told there was a problem with our reservation--not a shocker this has happened before. My husband very nicely tried to address the issue with the general manager, James Gordon. The manager was rude, argumentative and unprofessional. His rudeness was so blatant my husband finally told Mr. Gordon he felt like Mr. Gordon acted as if he, my husband, was not telling the truth. To this Mr. Gordon replied," Well I don't believe you." This after we have shown confirmation emails etc. After all of this unnecessary ugliness in front of our guests he states he can accommodate our party. An uncomfortable start to an otherwise wonderful evening. In short, while our food and service were good our experience with the general manger will motivate us to go elsewhere.
Great overall experience. Service and food on point. A little pricey but worth it. My only knock on it was the manager asked us to wrap it up because he needed the table.
Brutal! Never again! This is the SECOND TIME IN A ROW I came to this steakhouse before a game, attempting to have a good meal, as opposed to eating from the unhealthy concession stands during the game. I just don’t understand how a place that claims to be a ‘high end’ steakhouse CAN’T COOK A STEAK TO TEMPERATURE! THE TWO VISITS TO NYY STEAK OF LATE, HAVE BEEN THE ONLY TIMES IN MY LIFE, (IN MY LIFE!!) WHERE I HAVE GOTTEN STEAKS COOKED INCORRECTLY!! My girlfriend ordered a ribeye medium, I ordered the bone in Ny Strip medium rare. My steak came out medium well, hers came out well! It was totally neglected on the grill! The disgraceful part of it all, was the manager didn’t come over after we explained to our waitor how our steaks were not good. They took off the bill a scotch and a beer that we each had. Terrible and disgraceful. Shows how greedy they are and how much of a poser steakhouse this is. Aside from our steaks being overcooked, the apps and sides didn’t wow us at all. Don’t let this place sheist you for hundreds of dollars. It’s not worth it at all! Go to lobels and get a steak sandwich during the game, you are much better off!
Best steak I’ve had this year. Cooked to perfection with a wine list for perfect pairing.
I’ve been a yankee fan all my life and now that I’m Getting older I prefer cheaper seats and better food so do yourself a favor get a cheap ticket and grab a table at the steak house enjoy the game and the food and watch the Game On All The TVs They Offer Food Is Great and after you can walk it it off around the stadium and enjoy the game and all the other great things you can do at the stadium now out door bars and great stores I miss the old stadium I grew up in but all in all The NEW Stadium And Its Steak House Are Home To Me And The Only Way To watch A Game from now on
Young lady at the front desk and Curtis our waiter outstanding! Always a good meal but bring your wallet. , Had dinner pre yankee bosox game so the place is amped up. Started with cocktails and we both had the scrimp cocktail, good but not great scrimp should be colder worse they felt a tad limp where scrimp when right are succulent. I had the pork chops my SIL had the rib eye which he also gets, he said it was very good. My pork chop was good, again nothing over the top spectacular which if you are commanding those prices everything should be above average. Mango sorbet was off the hook excellent. All in all we had a nice time, Curtis our host did a great job.
Yankee Stadium says it all!!
When greeted for seating we were rushed and greeter was rather rude as I had requested a window table when I made reservations but was told had to have a party of 4 and they were booked up, we were 3. They stuck us in the back and all the time we were there there were lots of open window tables
Service was good but again we were rushed as if at a fast food place. Could not wait to get people in and out
I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and at 4p the earliest available
Frankly, I will have to think about going again, rather expensive and not the 1st class service one would expect
By the way, this was our second visit this year, and I usually go at least once every year
Best steak I ever had! Will remember to have the steak bone personally engraved next time. Staff was great as well.
The four of us found the filet minion to be outstanding and cooked to exact preferences. Service was also great. Highly recommended even though food was pricey.
For my husband's birthday I gave him tickets to a Yankee game for a group of men and dinner at NY Yankee Steaks. The service was very slow and 2 of the men had meals that were inedible. They ran out of the sides that were ordered and randomly substituted others. Although they were generous in offering to reduce the bill I was embarrassed because this was my treat and a birthday gift. Never again!
From the minute you walk up to the Desk the Reception was very friendly, to the person showing you to the table - very helpful & friendly. To the person filling the glasses with water, very polite. And the Waitress that took care of our meal - very professional & knowledgeable. Great place to have a great meal!
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Staff very helpful. A great way to top off the evening.
Great to experience once before a Yankees Game. The burger was not cooked correctly, but they fixed it.
This was our second visit as the first was spectacular. I took my wife this time as a special treat as we go to so many games and in the past just walked by and said, I wonder how that place is. The greetings were great, everybody cared about our enjoyment of the experience. Wait staff couldn't do enough, professional, caring, over and above expectations. Again. The walls with all the signatures of the players was great background for pictures. Our neighbors on each side of the perfectly set table were wonderful to talk too. Made some new friends. Thanks for another great experience.
It was pretty empty after the game. Staff was good as was the food. Found it to be a bit pricey.
I was just disappointed all around, just watched a Yankee game and looking forward to a nice steakhouse dinner with my family. I thought the food was all over cooked, my son had ribeye that was well done, not medium like he asked, my seared ahi was cooked all the way through. After dinner they could not seem to make a hot or even Luke warm coffee. I probably would return for a drink at bar, but not food.
Nice place, good food, good service. Yada,Yada,Yada,Yada,Yada,Yada.
The servers were very attentive and being on somewhat of a time line we were severed promptly without feeling rushed. Great way to kick off a game at the Stadium
I suggest a separate entrance (with game ticket) for those with reservations on game day. Thankfully we came early because we ended up waiting in line over 30 minutes just to enter the stadium. The food and service were excellent. I was disappointed with the red wine list, especially for a steak house. When I decided on a red wine selection for the table, the server came back and said they were out of the one I had chosen. They need to add South American, Australian, other blends, etc. to the wine choices. I had to send my "rare" ordered steak back as it was overdone. The server was attentive and was able to provide a replacement right away...some thing about "they brought the wrong one out" to me initially. Overall it was a nice dining experience but a few hiccups along the way brought my rating down to 4 stars.
We used a gift certificate. Otherwise, this would not have been a choice for us. It was pleasant but
we are better suited with something less expensive.
Henry's team q
always offers the very best service experience.
Service was all over the place had to constantly look for my waiter. Crab cakes are mediocre nothing i would try again
Curtis our waiter gets a 5 star rating! I expected the steak to be better. It was ok, I’ve had a lot better at other restaurants for the same or better price.
Very poor experience. Very noisy and surroundings are nothing special. No views of field and TVs on wall are very small.
I had the Delmonico rib eye which was good.My son had pork chops. One was cooked and the other was raw. Not undercooked but raw .Waiter put cooked one on new dish and took back the other one to cook.It came back and waiter put it down and left.Eventually he came back and asked if it was ok.While waiting for chop to come back my steak got cold.Pork chop still had pieces not cooked, but my son ate the cooked part and we didn't want to miss more of game waiting for it to cook a third time.
As I read on line you have to ask for a roll despite the bread dish being there.
Waiter seemed totally bored and detached. When you charge New York Steak house prices you expect a lot more than this .
I visited at the Yankee Stadium location on a game night. Had early 4pm reservations. Had an elderly person with me. We were forced to go through security line twice due to security agents behind rude, and when we finally got through security no one knew how to direct us to efficiently get to the restaurant. By the time we sat down it didn't matter how good the food or service was, we had decided this was the last time we would go through that again. From a cost perspective, I don't mind paying $400 for two people to have a quick dinner, but can not say it was a value for the dollar. A high price for a table that was aggravating to even get to, with a time window we had to be out by (5:30pm) which was made very clear to us just before we ordered our seafood town appetizer and signature steaks.
In an entire stadium I'm not sure how you run out of dinner rolls , but that's what we were told at 7 PM on 8/29 every table around us had dinner rolls , we did not , I'm not sure if I was paying any less for not having the dinner rolls than everybody else with it , and I know this doesn't sound like a big deal to you probably , but it's the principle of the thing if you're going to run a high-end steakhouse , at what level do you realize you're running low on dinner rolls and get some things for the money your charging... yankee seasons ticket holder, at least 20 times a year maybe it's time to give your steak house a rest I virtually come before every game ....Besides everything ,I felt I was really being rushed out of the restaurant .....
Make sure NYY Steak at the Stadium is on your bucket list.
Overall 4.5 stars. Everything was great except the asparagus. I thought the were bland and under seasoned and really seemed like no effort put into them just ends cut off and peeled them thrown onto the grill with no seasonings and onto the plate told the assistant server and nothing was done about that. But had the roasted chicken dish which was amazing and as well as the lobster tail and shrimp cocktail. The mixed berry sorbet was great and the strawberry Basil cocktail.
