This place is absolutely wonderful they actually put my wife's name and happy Mother's Day engraved on the steak bone priceless
Great place to have a delicious dinner while waiting out the rain delay. A wonderful Mother’s Day.
Overall food is very good.Tuna tartar is amazing king crab legs to die for. The steak was eh.
First time there great experience. Waiters were great with the kids and so accommodating.
As always the meal here was perfection. The bacon appetizer was a show stopper any the steak was a home run (pun intended). I come here at least once a year and I’m never disappointed. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the team.
Staggered by our bill, as we werent even trying. 2 rounds of drinks and steaks....wow. almost 40p.
Great food, great service great friends. My compliments to Chef John and his crew. Well worth the price of admission!
Henry and team run a great restaurant! The total package is excellent -- food, drinks, service, ambiance, convenience, everything. My friends and I have been many times, and will continue to enjoy NYY Steak. Thanks, Henry!
their policy at the stadium of concealing your reservation if your more than 15 minutes is way to rigid. It gives the restaurant a very arrogant attitude when the dinner and service were actually quite nice. Expensive, but nice just the same
I went with my son for his 26th Birthday. To be honest, it doesn't measure up well with the better steak houses of NYC but was nice to get a steak at a ballgame. For an appetizer we tried the maple bacon which was recommended by our waitress. It turn out to be 3 thick pieces of bacon with log cabin syrup. We then had the 8oz filet mignon and the New York strip steak with a side of the garlic mashed potatoes. A bottle of Budweisers and to Brooklyn Lager beers on tap. We asked for the steaks medium. The filet mignon was rare on the inside and the strip steak was medium well with very little pink in the middle. To top it off by the end of the game the bathroom was a necessity from that point until the next morning.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Food cooked to perfection and deserts just as good.
We'll be coming back again soon.
Our server was very attentive and knowledgable. The food was excellent. We got a few appetizers and the ribeye to share and they were all delicious. The drinks we ordered were great also. It was a little pricey but with the quality of the food it was worth it. I would highly recommend and I can’t wait to return.
A Saturday lunch before the afternoon game at Yankee Stadium. Since they cater to mostly dinner and expense account clientele, it wasn’t crowded at all. Glad we decided to go.
This is a special place. It’s an oasis where you can avoid the throngs in the Stadium, and have a world-class steak. The salads, veggies, and fish entrees are excellent. They could pick it up a little on busing the tables and checking on bread—-and the pretzel bread IS delicious.
My Delmonico steak was perfect. Tender, seasoned perfectly, dry-aged to that great mineral flavor.
The steak was over cooked and didn’t have flavor. The salmon was undercooked and was missing one of the ingredients listed on the menu.
It was very noisy.
The quality of my NY Cut was tough, not quite medium rare even though it was sent back for two attempts. Side dishes, mac and lobster and garlic mash had an out of the carton taste.
The iceberg wedge was good. The waitress was outstanding but press and hampered by the large volume of people ( the noise was deafening). The desert accomdation was gracious and kind.
Good food, good service and very convenient when attending Yankees game.
I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with everything! Security outside refused to let me in, even though I had a reservation and the restaurant told me there would be no problem entering the stadium. I called and nobody answered or called me back.
After waiting on a very long line to get in, I finally made it to the restaurant. Food was awful!!! Steak and side dishes had no taste. I couldn’t be more angry with my experience!!
The best place to dine before a game at the stadium. Arrive early and avoid the long lines at check in and sit down and relax before the game. Great cocktail selection and good wines. Mostly beef with a few fish options. The appys are enormous and are very shareable. The prices are out -of -the -park but the atmosphere is a home run and the service is hall-of-fame.
Can't do it all the time but treat yourself at least once.
Went to the Yankee game with friends and had a early meal at the Steak house. It was very good and I would do it again.
Fantastic bone in strip steak
I went to NYY steakhouse at Yankee Stadium a few times this season already and it has always been amazing. Great food with great service. I would recommend it to anyone going to see a Yankee game.
real good. You need to fix the debacle getting through the hostile fans who are waiting in line for batting practice. The person at the door was more interested in talking to a co-worker than looking for diners through the crowd. I expect more from the NY Yankees. This is not a good optic. Fix it!
Very good food as always
Food and service was good but the prices are very expensive. Price of steak includes just the steak. Potatoes and salad are extra.
Server was excellent, the carving of the occasion on the bone was a nice touch, they handled a severe peanut allergy excellently. Only concern is the price for what was ordered but that is to be expected from a stadium experience.
Usually the service and food are outstanding but not this night. The bread in the onion soup was so hard and stale it was dangerous to eat. There must have been a bread shortage because they never brought out the bread and butter. The pork and chicken entrees were great but our waiter disappeared for an unacceptable time and we had to hunt him down to get the table cleared and the check.
great sports atmosphere, steaks cooked to perfection, nice wine list, good service
Excellent service ....My rib steak was great...My baked potato was so big I could not finish it...Crabcake terrific...Bacon very goods though slightly overlooked for my taste..
I went before Yankees game for my 5th visit. Was worst experience by far. Order to steaks medium and both came out very under cook to what was ordered!! My dog enjoyed the steak more than me!! I don’t know that I will ever go back. Spent $230 on meal I stated the issue as training opportunity and nothing was removed from bill or even a manger to come by to see how badly they cooked 2 $50 steaks. Very disappointed!!
Excellent service. One request is to recognize special occasions. I took my two sons there for their birthdays. I had mentioned that in the reservation comments, and the waiter, Chris, was really sweet to mention it as we were seated. However, nothing special was offered by the restaurant. I spent $275 for a meal for 3 - at least a couple of cupcakes with candles would have been great. The staff and the food were AMAZING but It felt like the occasion wasn’t important to the restaurant and it felt incomplete.
Steak was not the way I ordered it and my Client's steak was tough.
I’ve eaten here four times, usually on Opening Day, with my dad. The only item we didn’t enjoy was the bacon it tasted like cardboard, but otherwise everything else has been great.
We had a wonderful meal before attending the Pinstripe Bowl. Our waiter Steve did a great job of describing menu items and steaks. Steaks were cooked to perfection.
We came here to eat before the Pinstripe Bowl. It was a bit pricey but the food was really good! We recommend the Signature Bacon appetizer. The service was great and we were even able to leave and come back to the bar later. Great experience!
I rarely complain. The nicest part about the dinner was the Yankees won, the drinks were good and the ambiance was different than any other steak house we had been to; it was in Yankee Stadium. Other than that it was awful. The service was terrible, the food was terrible. The staff was clearly not on their game the night we went.
I was truly disappointed and will not return.
I met my friends before one of the home play-off games at the restaurant. We had a ver nice meal. The staff is very friendly and it was a terrific evening. Especially, since the Yankees won!
Over all the first time experience there was good. The place was comfortable but the seating was tight and it was a bit loud and hard to carry a conversation. The ribeye steak was what I was hoping for and it was perfect! We started with french onion soup and I was a bit disappointed with the taste of that, but the spinach salad was excellent! Our service was terrific and I was glad that we were not rushed through dinner. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy a special occasion dinner here, it was kind of pricey but but expected for a NYC steakhouse. I would come back again!
