   I managed to get a table very last minute for two which was perfect timing. No16 is a perfect intimate space, just enough people to be interesting and not enough to be overwhelming. Back ground noise perfect level to hear one-another but not stoney silence. The service was outstanding, girls were attentive, friendly and very well mannered, which is really important to me. I am not a vegetarian but I opted for veggie, the ravioli, perfect portions, lovely starter, well balanced and the flavours amazing with the beetroot for main. Well, this beetroot main was the bomb, best I have ever tasted, the flavour combinations outstanding sweetly roasted, not earthy, apple and pickle with walnuts amazing and surprisingly filling. My husband the meat head started with lamb, its was delicious, we had a bit of a swap. he followed with the beef, we both agreed that we could not fault anything on the plates and trust me we are a bit crital at times, massive praise to the chef! The only down side was we were on a bit of a hard stop for our show and I really wanted the chocolate fondant, sadly it was not to be as we ran out of time. The only solution to that is I will be back shortly as I feel I missed out on the dessert and I need to put that right! I thought given the quality of food on the plate it was very well priced for our meal I would highly recommend No16.

   We had a 3 course lunch. Everything was delicious. We have been going to No. 16 for over 20 years as it's one of the best restaurants in Glasgow.

   The food was superb. Staff very attentive but you wouldn’t know they were there. We will be back A hidden gem Always do the city centre or finnieston and forget about the west end. We had the perfect early evening meal before the hydro.

   Really delicious lunch and superb value for the set menu. The prosecco and wine were all lovely. The chicken with thai green curry sauce and coconut rice was full of flavour and my husband’s pork belly was melt in the mouth. Thank goodness we got the cauliflower cheese extra - it was amazing! Both desserts were brilliant. I love rhubarb and my vanilla bavarois with rhubarb and granola was so so good. My husband loved his chocolate mousse. And a delicious cortado to finish off. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to our friends and family.

    This is a small restaurant. Very friendly, polite staff. The table service is great. The set meal menu is small. The food is fantastic, with something for everyone’s taste. We tried getting a table for the evening and struggled. We were happy taking a table for lunch. Once you’ve been you will understand why people are booking to come back. If you haven’t been already ask yourself why?
