There are so many steak houses in the Reno area but i want everyone too know that the service and food was beyond the norm of all the others. You can truly trust the staff, Art and Alex are by far the most capable and experienced people to make your dinning pleasure truly one to remember. From the choice of wine to the main course and the personalized service of the sheff you will not be disappointed. Very. Very well done. Thank u RIC and Donna we will be back
We were greeted by a very polite hostess who asked us if we wanted a table or a booth, server acknowledged us immediately and provided an attentive service till the end.

Manager Art texted he had a surprise for us, and when he served ZD Cabernet Sauvignon, we were absolutely delighted. Such wonderful flavors. He knows we are wine connoisseurs. Chef Julian's special was sea bass served over hummus potatoes and spinach. Delicious! He also told us about the crab claws appetizer, which we loved. Server Alex was attentive as ever, and buss girl, Melissa, was as well. We love it at The Nugget Steakhouse.
Great service, great food, will be back.Everyone was super nice, and filet mignon with a lobster tail was out of this world. We also enjoyed the raspberries jubilee table side.

What an amazing evening. Alex and his "team" met and exceeded our expectations. The Chilean Sea Bass was exceptional and my girlfriends filet was done to perfection. We are locals and haven't been to the steakhouse in years but it will be and is our new favorite dining spot.
My Aunt was in town from Southern California so we took her and her friend to the Nugget steakhouse for dinner. The food was excellent, as usual and the service was good. There was a very loud group of guys next to us that was kind of disruptive as it made conversation a little difficult but we still enjoyed our evening.
Love this steakhouse. My filet mignon was cooked perfect. The asparagus was cooked just right, not too done, yet not real crunchy.
The chef came over and asked us if everything was to our satisfaction. We were told, in a few months this steakhouse will be moved downstairs away from casino and have new decor. If they keep this quality up in their new location, with the food and service, they will have an all around great steakhouse in Sparks. Our special thanks to Art and Alex for making our night out special.
It was Easter Sunday, and we were intrigued by the special holiday menu at The Steakhouse. Manager Art chose Gevrey-Chambertis Seuvrees-Vieilles Vignes, a delicious and light burgundy imported from France. Appetizer was Stuffed Mushrooms with goat cheese and other morsels, followed by chilled cucumber and avocado soup with crab meat, main dish was the most delectable sea bass, prepared with pears and cream sauce. Desert was a lovely chiffon cake. We enjoyed all and cannot wait until the next holiday meal at The Steakhouse.
What a wonderful Friday night at The Steakhouse Grill! Manager Art chose for us Honig Cabernet Sauvignon, the last bottle he had. It was splendid. Chef Ed's special was seafood and polenta served in a cream sauce, a combination of sea bass, salmon and langostinos. We savored every morsel. As always, Server Alex anticipated our needs. Even buss girl, Melissa, was courteous and prompt in picking up the dishes when we were through. We love it here and encourage everyone to give it a try. You'll never regret it.
We eagerly anticipated our visit to The Steakhouse Grill on Saturday night, because Chef Julian had promised he would have his delicious Sea Bass, and indeed he did. Almost ran out, but he saved one for me. Fortunately, my husband graciously agreed to substitute Prime Rib, so we both could be happy. The most delicious Italian red wine was chosen for us. We felt pampered and satisfied. You will too.
We wanted Seafood Diabolo, but wanted it mild. So, Chef made us Seafood Alfredo, over Fettucini, and it was delicious. Try it sometime. We requested champagne, and Manager Art served us Veuve Cliquot -- Wonderful. Server Alex was attentive but not intrusive. We will come again.

We had the most delicious Sea Bass dish. We missed having Sea Bass when it went out of season and were so pleased when Chef Julian prepared it for us again. Manager Art selected Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, and we enjoyed it immensely. As always, Server Alex was attentive and gave us the best service ever.
We had only one complaint about our dining experience, but it was a big one. When the (expensive) food arrived, it was in tiny portions with no side dishes included. My dad ordered a steak, and his plate arrived with.... just a small steak on it. No vegetables or potatoes or anything - just a steak in the middle of the plate. Same with all the other entrees. Not what we were expecting for a fine dining establishment. I have never left a critical review anywhere before, and feel a little bad doing it. But maybe this will help change the dining experience for others? Our waiter, by the way, was EXCELLENT.
We asked Chef Julian what he had for us, and he suggested the Langostinos and 7-oz filet mignon. Delicious! Manager Art served us Rocca cabernet sauvignon and as usual Server Alex was attentive and friendly. We love it here.

It was Valentine's Day and we got in early but it was our normal dinner time so for us it was the perfect time. 5:15PM We were the young ones in the crowd and it was nice to sit near other people without hearing them. The service was good. Our waiter was attentive without being annoying. We aren't into wine but they had a wine server come around for tasting. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and came to our table hot. It was a good meal. We ordered a pomegranate martini and shared it. It was very tasty. They brought us a glass of champagne at no charge. It wasn't as good as the martini. They also gave my husband an extra lobster tail at no charge. We had a wonderfully romantic dinner!
For Valentine's Day, we could think of no better restaurant than the Nugget Steakhouse. Manager Art brought us Petite Serine, a French red wine that was delicious. Chef Julian prepared Seafood Diabolo to perfection. As always, Server Alex anticipated our needs and was ready with our salads almost as soon as we sat down. We are treated as dear friends, and we want everyone to at least experience this wonderful restaurant once. We're sure you will feel as we do.
Filet and Colorado Lamb chops were perfect! the salads and vegetable sides were just right.
This was our second time at the Nugget Steakhouse and it was just as good this time! Excellent steak, great sides, and good service. Nice average wine list by the glass if you have to drive after dinner. Quiet enough to carry on a good conversation through dinner. We really enjoy this place!!
Our first impression as we were being seated was the beautiful ambience, perfect for a romantic dinner. Our waiter, Zach, was wonderful. Very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Lastly, the food was excellent! The bext filet mignon I've ever had. Our Valentine's Day dinner was a wonderful evening for us. We look forward to our next visit.

Chef Julian prepared the tenderest, juiciest 10-oz filet mignon, prepared rare, just the way we like it, along with very fresh, steamed lobster tail. Excellent! Manager Art served us Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, and in fact had it waiting at our table for us. Server Alex brought us our salads, without even having to make out order. This is the best Steakhouse in Northern Nevada!
Chef Julian greeted us and suggested that since we hadn't tried the veal chop before he would make it special for us. And special it absolutely was, cooked just the way we like it. Manager Art chose a French Red Wine (sorry I can't remember the name) that was delicious. Server Alex had our salads ready almost as soon as we sat down at "our" table. These people are like family and friends to us. Try them. They will exceed your expectations.
A little noisy, great older waitress, poor sommelier he was very late to arrive. For was just mediocre.
Our table was ready, our server was friendly and attentive and the food quality and taste were great.
I don't know how Manager Art, Chef Julian and Server Alex can continue to outdo themselves, but Thursday night was so special. Roy 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious, and the Bone-In Filet Mignon and Crab Oscar were exceptional. We can hardly wait for the next time, and It will be soon, I can assure you.
Art the Manager greeted us as usual as friends and served a delicious French red wine. Chef Julian prepared the most wonderful Seafood Risotto, served over fettuccine. Alex our server was ready with our dinner salad almost as soon as we sat down. They know us here at The Steakhouse, and we appreciate everything about this restaurant.
Very expensive, but no other choice if you are attending a conference and have a business meeting. Overall an OK experience. The last night there we had a second business meeting and the waiter was just awful. (31 Jan.)
For us, a trip to the Nugget is not complete until we go to The Steakhouse. So many wonderful foods on the menu, and we have only just begun to sample all of them. This time, we had chateaubriand, cooked rare as we love it. Art, the manager brought us Rocca Vineyards Vespera. Delicious! Alex brought us our order, including the peach salad that is so great. Chef Julian prepared everything so well, and came out to greet us. They treat us like family, and we appreciate it very much.
The Nugget Steakhouse service staff is by far the best around. Art, Alex, Joe, Jose and Sam are the most efficient and friendly people we have ever experienced in our dining experience. We always look forward to our frequent visits due to these individuals. On our recent visit, I had Filet Mignon which I rank as one of the best that I have experienced in years. Julian, the new head chef has done a super job updating the menu and providing outstanding food. As far as quality service, excellent food and value for your money, the Nugget Steakhouse is our favorite.
My colleague and I enjoyed our meals. She had a special that was wonderful, just the right amount of spicy. For me, the waitress made sure my meal was prepared as to be safe for the chronic gut issues I experience. Everything was delicious.
The food was fabulous, server was great and having the chef come out to visit was extra special.
In a word, The Steakhouse is fabulous. Art, the manager, Alex our server and Chef Julian outdid themselves, if that is even possible. Give it a try, and you'll be hooked like we are.

It was our 37th wedding anniversary, and we were treated like a king and queen. We were shown to our favorite table. Art, the manager, brought us Rocca Cabernet Sauvignon, of which he said he had only been able to get 3 bottles from the winery. Delicious! Alex, our server, was all smiles, bringing us Oysters Rockefeller, Petit Filets and 1 lb Maine Lobster Tails. Chef Julian even made us a special desert, which we enjoyed immensely. We heartily recommend The Steakhouse and hope you will have the chance to enjoy it too.
