I’m not even sure I have the time to explain how many things went wrong. Dirty fork, dirty plate, waited 15 minutes for our waiter, was never given a drink menu, never offered desert even after they said their was complimentary dessert because we were celebrating a birthday, no pen with the check- the list goes on.

I know everyone is understaffed, but can’t a restaurant take less reservations then? Dinner was so so. Everything was slow. Asked for the sommelier several times and he never came, server disappeared for very long periods of time, etc etc. My husband wanted to order dessert, but said he was worried it was going to take an hour. Fortunately we liked the people we were with and it still was a decent night - definitely not a stellar dining experience though.

Horrible service we were ignored by our sever majority of the time we were there. They didn’t even give us silverware and bread and forgot to put I my husbands drink order not worth the $100 tab.

This is advertised as an upscale dining in Grand Rapids. The food was good, but definitely not worth the prices they are charging. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was served on a platter with metal serving tongs. My entree was the Cannelloni Della Casa, which was listed as "rolled stuffed pasta . ground veal . Noto’s famous Italian sausage baby spinach . bolognese sauce, parmesan & mozzarella cheese" and there was no noticeable veal and there was very little sausage in the dish. My guest has the eggplant rollatini and had very little eggplant. The dress code was listed to be business casual and we were completely over-dressed when everyone is wearing jeans, sneakers, hoodies and baseball caps. The best part was the dessert, the limoncello ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu were great. It seems like a few things could make this a fine dining experience but fell short of our expectations.

The setting is exceptionally beautiful everywhere you look. The classic Italian food is excellent - we have never been disappointed. The Noto family strives to ensure their guests feel welcome and their gracious approach to service filters through their staff. We are fans of both their Old World restaurant and Noto’s in Grand Haven.

Service from Jennifer and her team was excellent! Water glass was never left empty as I am a big water drinker. I wish Breadsticks would be part of the bred selection as Noto has good sticks. Food was very good and recommend the squash soup. RC

Comfortable soft chairs, nice service, good place for older people to meet friends. My veal piccata was average: steamed stalky broccoli, tough veal, piccata sauce bland, but good potatoes. My wife said her food was good. Our friends said nothing about their food... so that's a bad sign at a restaurant!

Very expensive ! Food was good and tasty ! Need to explain what dishes are! ! Ordered a salad received no Lettuce ! Should have asked what it is - just thought items listed came on the salad ! When asked how big salads are was shown a round size ! This was just few veggies on a long narrow plate ! Was very tasty and flavorful ! We were going to split the salad - wasn’t much to it for $16.00! Can get a full romaine lettuce salad with chicken on for that or price anywhere else ! Won’t be back ! Also very dark to even see menus when first arrive - get more used to it as time goes on !

We celebrated a birthday. We had a nice bottle of wine from the huge wine list. The Sommelier was extremely informative and helpful in picking the perfect bottle. The food was excellent and the service even better.

Very good food! Excellent server. Very helpful sommelier. His suggestion was enjoyed! We chose not to sit in the bar area as the music was a bit too loud. We chose the dining room instead. Could still enjoy the music but at a lower level.
