The worst 2 bar tenders this evening. Midis well have had to tell them how to do their job.
Great food with great service. Upbeat dinning experience.
Great gluten free menu and rolls! Never had a bad meal.
Restaurant is very accommodating of food allergies, and the meals are quite good.
My husband and I always enjoy Joe’s. I would like it if there were more on the gluten free menu.
AlwYs have a great experience at NYAJ’s!
Always a great experience at Joe's. Family friendly and quick to accommodate.
Excellent service and tasty food. We've eaten here a few times and it's always the same. Best to get in early for dinner as they get busy fast. Parking is behind the restaurant, but there is very limited parking for people with movement issues. There is a gym back there also and it keeps the parking lots full. We wll go again in the future.
We went on Wednesday night because they have half price bottles of wine. I had the grilled pork chop which was excellent. It was a very good experience all around.
We had a nice Birthday dinner @NYAJ. Our server was nice, and when she forgot to put in our drink order she came and apologized and the manager set it right after coming to check in with us. Their gluten-free bread and dipping oil is the best anywhere and they have a delicious flourless torte.
Service and food was exceptional!
We went for a birthday celebration. The birthday girl was gluten free and loved her choices and her food! She also was treated to a complimentary gluten free cake, with candle and singing. Made the occasion very special and memorable.
I reserved a table for 6 of us ahead of time for my birthday lunch gathering. Food was good (they did forget the main ingredient to my Greek salad- feta cheese- the manager was great and brought me some as we couldn’t find our waitress). The food and drinks were good overall but the service was very slow. It took 50 minutes for my salad (most of our tables had a salad 4 out of 6 and we all waited longer than needed).
We like Not Your Average Joe’s...hoping this was just a bad day for them.
Excellent food at a reasonable cost.
Great service from Pamela, very friendly and attentive waitress. Roy, the manager, added an additional layer of friendliness to the night with his great personality and conversation. The food is great and the portions are large, I had enough to take home. Great place to dine.
Service was not up to par, we felt like we were bothering her. Bread was served cold not warm, which is one of the highlights. Won t be back anytime soon.
We met at NYAJ and reservations were confirmed and a table ready. The grilled salmon looked so good that 3 out 4 had it. The risotto was excellent and the drinks were marvelous. Just a wonderful evening with dear friend at a really nice place that knows how to take care of its customers.
The food was great, and our waiter was very good. We called afterwards to let them know how great the waiter was. He was by far the best waiter my wife and I have ever had.
We all (3) enjoyed our meals. Waiter so very courteous and helpful. A nice afternoon out with friends.
Everything was very good. I have the super crunch salad. My dining companion had the meatloaf. The only thing that is a bit odd is the fact that the meatloaf and the salad basically cost the same thing. But the food is always very good. I will be back.
Was very good .....they do always forget to leave the salt off my margarita
Great service! We always come back for the bread and the peanut butter thing. Those never fail!
Such a great place for any meal! The food is always tasty and the bread is to die for. They have a seasonal menu that changes every few months in addition to the normal menu. Great cocktails and a good place for any occasion.
Our part of 10 was tended to expertly and efficiently. The setting was comfortable and the food was excellent. The 4 teenage boys in our group were just as satisfied as the picky eater adults.
The food was quite good. I could do with a little less salt and pepper. I know that it is the trend today to use more salt and pepper, but it takes away from what I thought was an otherwise excellent meal. I can always add salt and pepper, I can't remove it from the dish. The service was outstanding.
Always excellent food. Service was good, and they were very accommodating for my daughters food allergy.
Love this place and love the staff, especially Ron! We are regulars, at least once a week... Most people know us by now which makes our experience even more wonderful. We look forward to our Joes visits all week long (sometimes we can't wait for the weekend and end up there a few extra times)... Can't say it enough, we love this place!
We had a reservation for 7pm, which was made several days in advance. Wasn’t seated until 7:45pm.
We were here for Valentines Day. Definitely not what we expected. The food and drinks were so-so and it was extra loud. They seated all of the Valentines Day reservations in the front of the restaurant so everyone stared at us as we dined (awkward). We most likely will not return here unless we have friends or family who want to check it out.
This was for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The only issues I had was the server that was assigned to our table ignored us, so after nearly 10minutes another server noticed we had not been waited on, so she came over to get us started. After she took our drink and appetizers were order we observed her telling the server Ed assigned to us we she had done; he blew her off and walked away. Even thought she was very busy with her assigned table she provide excellent service which showed in her tip.
I have been going here since it opened. Great place for the family, business lunches and special occasions.
This particular night I thought they did very well -- it was Valentine's Day. It was packed but they lived up to the past experiences. It was great.
Everything about the meal was first-rate. We always have a great experience at NYAJ. The only downside was that even though we had a 6:45 pm reservation, we still had to wait for a table. I understand things were busy since it was Valentines Day. That said, the point of a reservation is to guarantee a table at a certain time. Nevertheless, we are already looking forward to our next trip back.
We came for Valentine's Day dinner. The place was mobbed, with a line out the door the entire time we were there, but it was constantly moving. We were seated within 5 minutes of arrival - with a reservation. Despite the fact that the place was full, the service was efficient and wonderful; food came quickly and was of excellent quality; and the overall experience was terrific. Would go back any time, and we do so about once a month or so. Great place!
Our steaks we’re burnt. The food came fast and service was good!
Traffic was bad and we were 10 min late with a party for 6 (I did call though to let them know), they were able to get us a table set up! The hostess, the young man who sat us and several waiters, the manager, they would ck to make sure we were all fine! Our waitress was superb, but we have had her in the past and she has always been excellent! A lot of allergies in our family, and NYAJ can accomadate us! Very appreciative! Job well done and especially on Valentines Day! Thank you!
The Valentines meal special was outstanding, I started with the lobster bisque it was divine you could tell how fresh the lobster was. For the main dish I had the surf and turf and that was two beef medallions coupled with a lobster tortellini again the freshness of the seafood was evident and the beef was perfectly cooked to medium rare. Followed up with a delicious chocolate mousse and let’s be clear... I’m not a fan of chocolate mousse but it was sweet top with fresh strawberries and whipped topping with marshmallows and toasted coconut! It was so good that I bought a second one to bring home and eat at another time. For both my husband and I the meal our meals, several mixed drinks totaled over $100 which I think is a great deal for add a special night out. We enjoyed not your average Joe’s and go on a regular basis but it was really a perfect night to go.
Not your Average Joe's is my favorite restaurant. Ron is a wonderful waiter.
My wife and I took advantage of a Holiday sale of gift cards (25% bonus instead of the typical 20%) and made our Valentine luncheon date one of the occasions where we used it. We have eaten here several times and will come back regularly. Interesting menu choices throughout the year, and their bread with oil and garlic dip is to die for! They usually have several interesting desserts. Yum all around!
