My daughter is allergic to dairy shellfish and peanuts our server Lauren was very thorough to check with chef about foods that my daughter could eat safely. The manager was very helpful and careful and the chef was very accommodating in preparing her meal. I was extremely pleased with the service and care that all provided to ensure a delicious safe meal for my daughter and All the family were able to enjoy our time together
Thank you , thank you all!
Food was good. Perfect Eatable size portions so no bag to go. Olive oil dip and bread were heavenly ! Decent service would go again
Great Food, portion sizes were perfect. Will definitely go back!
Not Your Average Joe's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants and we visit regularly. There are many menu options to please just about anyone. I have tried several and have really enjoyed most of them. However on my most recent visit I was extremely disappointed to see one of my favorite items has been removed from the menu. Their own chef created veggie burger has been taken off the menu! It was a burger blended from quinoa, sweet potato and black beans topped with pickled red cabbage and guacamole on a toasted multigrain roll. It was a burger I would absolutely get a craving for several times a year. I also have told many of my veggie burger loving friends that I believed this was the best veggie burger I have ever had and encouraged them to try it for themselves. They have replaced their burger with the Impossible burger which I have tried and it is good , but it should never replace the other burger. Its fine if they want to add Impossible burger it to the menu, but please bring back the bean burger. One is nothing like the other. There is room for both!
We had a party of 9 for Mother’s Day. Our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant was very busy and, as a result, quite noisy. Service was very good, especially given the number in our group and the busyness of the restaurant. The food was a bit uneven with some dishes very good and a few just mediocre. Overall, a good experience.
Great time and enjoyed the wax string sculpting craft kit they gave to the kids instead of crayons; it actually kept my kids busy for a change. Food was delicious and very fresh tasting.
We have food allergies in our family and they are taken very seriously here, which is why we choose this restaurant when we are in the area. The menu is diverse enough that everyone can find something they enjoy.
Always have a good experience dining at Joe's. Food and service always good.
We had a wonderful dinner Saturday night at Not Your Average Joes. The restaurant took wonderful care of the eight of us, the service was terrific, and the food, as always, was excellent.
Great food and great deals for the time that we went!
We ate there for Easter Sunday. They accommodated six of us plus the little ones. The food was excellent and the ambiance was great.
Enjoyed our lunch and drinks!
The food is good but sometimes not hot enough. The appetizer steak rolls were cold Can tell things are warmed up and not enough most times. The couscous had all corn and very little couscous. The chicken was good and also hot. Overall a three and a half for food. Service was good.
I always enjoy dinner and appetizers.
I especially look forward to the new Seasonal menu.
The service was excellent.
We go to this restaurant often because they have a great selection of gluten free food. My boyfriend has celiac disease and sometimes eating out can be challenging. At NYAJ’s they even bring him GF bread!
Fine, as usual. Nice server.
The burger was great. The sides are so creative (had the carrots grilled)
Good as usual. Server needed a bit more training, plopped an unopened bottle of Prosecco on the table and left my husband to open and pour. We thought it was a fluke but she did it again when we ordered a second round. Tuna ahi appetizer is excellent.
Great place and food.
NYAJ is great for lunch or dinner, but not for brunch. It was our first time there for brunch and I selected it based on NYAJ routine promotions for brunch. The menu adds only 3 items for brunch, so if your looking for more breakfast than lunch your out of luck. The french toast was good, but there were no accompaniments like bacon or fruit. The mimmosa
Service is usually excellent but this time it was below par. It was not at all busy at 11 am, so it's hard to excuse poor service.
Server didn't check in very often. We were seated right next to the front check in stand and they noticed multiple times that we were looking for the server and took it upon themselves to clear our plates for us. Usually no issues but this time was disappointing. Overall though, food was good and we'll still come back again.
Food was pretty great as always except undercooked Brussel sprouts. All of our rollups had dirty silverware. Love the gluten free menu.
Delicious food, great sangria! A bit pricey, but nice experience.
Great server. Good food.
We got seated right away. Our service was great and our food was delicious!!
Overall good experience, nice environment, good beer selection and good service. The pizza was not as good as I would have hoped but all other food was quite good.
One of my favorite restaurants! I live nearby and it is very convenient for me.
I love the food choices and the seasonal menu.
Our server, other servers and the manager all walked by our table multiple times and did not ask if we wanted refills. Our cups were sitting on the edge of the table halfway through our meal. She asked if we wanted boxes (feeling rushed) and was rude when we asked for refills.
The food was fabulous. Our server was absolutely adorable! I would definitely recommend this place!
My family and I love NYAJ. It is our go to restaurant when we can figure out what we want. NYAJ has a lot of food that we all like under one roof. Even my daughter can find something to eat. My favorite part is the food is all made from scratch so if you can’t eat something they can take it out of the dish. The steak tips are my favorite and my wife loves anything with the mustard crusted chicken. Sometimes she has it as the meal and sometimes she has them just add to her favorite salad. Always happy and full when we leave NYAJ
We went here to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday. It was a good choice. The service was excellent. The staff quickly accommodated our request for a larger table as we had presents as well as our winter coats. The food was served promptly and hot, and was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
We had a lovely waitress! We did feel a bit rushed towards the end by the manager.
We had to wait for 30 minutes after the time our reservation was for because the people at the table they had for us wouldn’t leave but the hostesses and manager were so nice about accommodating us for our wait. It wasn’t their fault but they were really apologetic and handled it very well. Once seated, we had an awesome time and food was awesome!
Worst experience at NYAJ. Mashed potatoes tasted like there was something off and not right. Manager did nothing except take them away because I did not want another side. I don’t like sending food back and getting new food. They should have taken a couple dollars off to account for the side that I did not eat because it was disgusting. I’ve had mashed potatoes from there many times and they have been good so I know that they should not have tasted like that the waitress had too many tables and we often waited long periods of time to get anything. Just not right. Also the cookie dessert was advertised wrong as the waitress said it was s’mores when it was advertised ad brown butter cookie with chocolate center and with vanilla ice cream. The bread was not as fresh as it should have been. I use to love NYAJ but it is falling off my loved list with the quality of food and service declining
We had reservations for Valentines day. The waitress was terrific but it seemed like they were rushing us out of there. Prices are a bit on the high side for the portion.
We go to NYAJ about once a year. The food is always good with the flavors sometimes being a strange blend. My wife has never really liked the mixed drinks. We like the setting (and the bread and dipping oil) but sometimes leave a little underwhelmed.
This place is constantly a good option for dinner.
Food is always good and love that they are on Open Table!
We’ve been here many times before. The Mona Lisa salad was amazing as always! One complaint- our physical table was barely attached to the wall and was on an angle so bad that everything was rolling around. You could see the caulk they used to try to fix it but it was pulled away from the wall! Yikes.
