   Went in for a late lunch with my wife and was greeted warmly, seated promptly allowed to have time to make up our minds. Served quickly and the food was great and the sevice was unobtrusive. Great food great service!

   Everything was good, very quiet for a Saturday night?! Bartender whipped up a great cocktail bc they were our off seltzer’s. No bread but that’s ok, it’s too good & always fill up on it. Crab cakes were good, side salad was drenched in dressing & potatoes were so so. Mustard crusted chicken is always great!

   We were seated quickly when we arrived, at a booth. The wooden table was so sticky that we had to ask to be moved to another table. They told us that the cleaners that they now have to use on the tables are eating through the polyurethane coating. Our next table was still sticky but not as bad. Ok, kind of gross... Our waitress took our drink order, we also asked for bread and water, she brought neither of them and we had to flag down another waitress to have her tell our waitress to bring them. We both ordered the tomato basil soup which is very tasty but barely warm. We were too hungry to send it back. We ordered salads and switched some of the items in the salad and they accomodated us perfectly. Our waitress never returned to check on us until we were practically done. The place was more than half empty. Between the sticky tables, lukewarm soup and an inefficient waitress, we will not be returning anytime in the near future!

   Friendly host & waitress. Good service. My beer (one sample and one 16 0z. Sam Seasonal) was not tasteful and tasted diluted. More cider than beer, something wrong with the tap. The side Ceasar salads carried way too much dressing. Our main course, chicken & shrimp in the wok, was also drowning in the soy sauce which wat extremely salted. Not sure if the chef on site samples what he/she/them is preparing, but if that was the case, then I have to admit that we have a completely different taste. Last but not least: we were freezing as the AC temp was so low and blowing directly on us. Very uncomfortable. Not worth repeating. We miss the good times of NYAJ in Randolph.

    Not Your Average Joe's, in Randolph, continues to be consistently delicious. We were promptly greeted and given a choice of tables. The drinks were done right and the meal was ample and tasty without being overly salted. Service was there when needed, with offers of refills as appropriate, without being overbearing.

    The service was very slow and our server was also forgetful and inattentive. The food was honestly not very good and for the price it felt like a waste of money. We used to love it at this NYAJ but probably won’t go back. This has become the norm unfortunately at this specific one.

    3 of us for dinner. 2 meatloaf were fine. 1 cheeseburger ordered medium rare came out well done. What the heck? Was no one paying attention? Could they not tell the difference? Did they not care? Not ok.

    Food was tasty but $28. for 5 steak tips is way too much! Portions overall seem to have shrunk so it’s no longer a good value. Waitress was ok but please tell your staff to engage with the diners and not look like they’re running away when we’re answering her question. Not impressed.

    It took almost 45 minutes to get our food and they brought us the wrong dish and then when they did bring the new dish they didn't bring the vegetables so told them again what was wrong. By the time they brought our correct dishes my friend had already finished her dinner I was surprised they didn't offer a free dessert or coffee or something for our inconvenience

    This was not my first visit to Not Your Average Joe's but it maybe my last. The bread was not warm the oil dip had way to much cheese in it. The meal came and the Mustard Crusted Chicken was very pale in color. It needed to be more pan browned. The mashed potato was just ok nothing to write home about. The burger my husband got was good.

    One of the friends we were meeting ordered chicken Caesar salad and asked for no croutons. The grilled chicken was charred and overcooked and the salad was served with croutons. She removed the chicken from the bowl and just ate the salad. I encouraged her to ask for another piece of chicken but she didn’t want to delay eating her salad and end up finishing after all of us. I agreed that the chicken definitely was charred.
