Great waitress and food!
I'm sad the Randolph location remains closed, but nice to know I can go to Norwell!
I had the Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl and my son had a Reuben. Both were outstanding! Service was good. It was early on Sunday and very quiet.
Delicious food. Menu has changed since we have last been, less items(assuming its because of Covid) but both my husbands and my meal was delicious. It was a bit chilly in the restaurant and we both kept our jackets on the entire time but otherwise it was a nice quiet meal.
Nice evening - finally going out!
Service is always good, except that night, the server/bartender was more interested in his phone than working
Love Not Your Average Joe's. We eat there at least once a month. Larry and the rest of the staff are very friendly, courteous and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The food is great, and plentiful.
Very friendly staff. Excellent food. Good family atmosphere
We were asked when we arrived to keep our masks on until we got our food and drinks - not a big deal considering we should have had water and bread and oil within a couple minutes of sitting down. But they didn’t even come to our table to greet us for about 10 minutes and didn’t bring with them water or bread. They took our drink and meal order at that time, but never came with our drinks or bread. So after another 10 minutes - 20 minutes in total - of sitting there with our masks on and without any drinks or bread, we got up and walked out. Very disappointed in the service we received.
out of three meals, all three were not up to expectations. one meal was not as described, one meal was extremely undercooked, and one meal was not made correctly and tasted bad.
Got seated next to a group of high school boys and some of the things they were saying weren’t cute at a restaurant.
We have been coming here for years. The food is great and the service is consistently great. Our server and the bartender were new last night but just great! The server checked on us often. The bartender chatted with us. There is no pretentiousness like some of the upscale places near by. Just comfortable and down to earth vibe with great food.
Server was awesome
Great food
Definitely returning
It was a very quiet nite. Food was out quickly, rice was dry, broccoli plain no flavor.
No draft beer and food and drinks were expensive for what you got.
Excellent as usual
Waitress made me feel like I was doing them a favor for dining with them. The food was average and the price still high. There are other options around with better atmosphere and value. The menu was paper. But the side plates just came out of the dishwasher (wet and with dirty spots on it)
I was extremely disappointed on my experience. I get it that it’s hard to keep motivated during COVID, but my family and I tried to support businesses by going out. Will not be going there again.
HATE leaving a poor review but I hope management can figure out how to fix this .... for years I took my family to nyaj and it was a fav for us..... I always rave about how it was the BEST local chain concept... .. cpl years ago it began to turn bad and keeps getting worse BUT I’m hopeful that they can figure it out
Diners spread more than 6 feet, masks were used and waitress was excellent!
The restaurant was deserted, not what I'm used to. The waitress wore plastic gloves which are actually unhygienic if not changed between every guest interaction. Just expected NYAJ to have a more welcoming environment.
Yes it's a chain but the quality of food is on point and the team works hard to give the best service, even in these strange times.
great place to eat and just have a relaxing night.
Food was excellent as was service. Restaurant was very quiet as it was a Monday night. Very clean and following all protocols. Will definitely be back!
Yes, the food was delicious, the service was great, but in addition, the management and staff went above and beyond with their Covid-19 precautions. Thank you for the extra efforts!
There’s a Burger King down the road. Next time I’ll go there. A lot less expensive and just as mediocre.
The service, food and restaurant is always consistent and a great place to eat.
Good food, great menu, good service. would recommend.
Great family restaurant. Don’t reserve a high top seat because they are in the bar and it is first come first serve and you will end up waiting.
Food and drinks are great!!!
This was our first time eating at a restaurant since the pandemic. We ate outside. The view of Accord Pond across the street was lovely at sunset. The waitress was helpful, and the food was delicious.
Steak and cheese egg roll was great. The Burger and fries were disgusting. Fries were clearly old and being reheated. Burger was raw. Very disappointed.
AJ was attentive and helpful with the menu and recommendations. The autumn sangria was delicious!
So glad Joes is still in business given the virus. Great food in a very clean environment. Thank you.
Have always been a fan of not your Average Joe’s but this Norwell location seems to be a little off base. Have had trouble with takeout here before but thought that in-person might be better. Server received multiple tables but didn’t even acknowledge us until much later. Other tables who came after us had their food well before us. Just was not up to par. Definitely committed to patronizing other businesses during the Covid time, unfortunately this won’t be one.
Handicapped spaces on opposite side of restaurant from outdoor dining area, while food pickup area is right outside door. Had to walk through restaurant to get to patio and restaurant felt under ventilated, smelled musty. Was seated at far end of patio, because all nearer table were reserved. Waitress worked hard to go all the way around a fence in the middle of patio to get to us. However she couldn't overcome the other below-average aspects of the experience, including food where my burger overcooked and fries soggy. Drink, classic margarita, was good and got me through.
The server was terrific a young lady from Rockland. The food, as always, was good and consistent.
Was really impressed with the cleanliness and attention to COVID prevention guidelines.
Seated quickly - food was great, service was excellent!
The food is consistent and good and the service is always professional
We had reservations for the patio but when we arrived, it was cold and rainy and even though the area had a canopy, we requested a table inside. We were immediately accommodated with a table with good social distancing. Our waitress was pleasant and informed us it was her first night back after 3 months because of the Covid. We ordered drinks and they arrived and she brought a lovely basket of bread. We ordered 2 Caesar salads for the four of us to share. We waited and waited and waited and no Caesar Salad but our waitress arrived with our main course. She had forgotten to put in the salad order. We decided to forget the salads because our entree had arrived. I had requested no fries but asked for a vegetable in place of them. My dinner which was a lobster roll arrived with fries and spinach and no coleslaw which was supposed to come with the meal.. We decided not to say anything and passed the fries around the table. My husband and his friend ordered the Chicken Parmesan and liked it and my friend ordered the salmon and liked it. The manager came over and apologized for the forgotten salads and sent one free of charge and also said dessert was on the house. My lobster roll was fine but I have had many better. The bill came and the Caesar Salad was on the bill and I reminded our waitress that we were not to be charged and she immediately apologized and returned with a proper bill. We enjoyed our desserts which were not on the bill. All in all, we felt the manager was very gracious and certainly went out of his way to make us happy after the mix up. We will certainly go back again but I would not order the lobster roll.
Our host and server were very pleasant and helpful. Everyone was happy with food each ordered. We sat outdoors in their newly expanded patio and the experience was enjoyable.
The only problem was last call for food and drink at 8. Not the restaurant’s fault. The fault of the moron governor.
