New Year’s Eve
Great food portions, quick seating and attentive service!
Good food as always. Some sort of kitchen issue so they had no burgers, but we weren’t going to order a burger so no problem for us! Marcus was a great server.
The chicken on the Mona Lisa salad was tough and inedible, no flavor. The chicken parmigiana was dry and had to add extra sauce. The chowder was too thick and glutinous, the quahogs were chewy.
We were celebrating a birthday. Tara J was our waitress. She was excellent!! We both had the herb crusted haddock. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is one of my favorite dishes! We had a wonderful dinner!
Go to NYAJ often when we are in Hyannis. This trip we got the Ahi appetizer, a pizza and a bottle of wine. The Ahi is one of our favorites and always delicious. This time we got it half on wontons and half on cucumbers. We asked for the pizza to be cooked well done and it was. Daniel, our server, was very good, attentive without being obtrusive and brought us our food in a perfect sequence.
I really enjoyed my grilled chicken breast and French fries and sautéed Spinach.
The weattress was very friendly and helpful.
Kelly our server was great but the food was not good the night we were there. they did not offer to comp my meal even though the two things i got to replace it were equally as bad.
It was just “ok”. My favorite part is the warm bread with olive oil parmesan dip. Part of my group ordered dinner salads which were nicely done. I had the BBQ meatloaf which was pretty awful. Parts were undercooked and the flavor was mostly boring. The roasted carrots were awful. Completely rubbery & dead. inedible. The mashed potatoes were good. The piece of fish that one of us got was lovely - but same comment on the sides. Overall very underwhelming experience. The bread always seems to draw me back but the meal usually disappoints.
This location sure lived up to all the hype. Food was amazing. Server Nick was excellent and manager Sara is the best ever. I highly recommend you check this out if you're at the Mall shopping. If you're not shopping, it's worth the trip.
Be sure you ask for Nick or say Hi to Daniel at the Bar
Good food, drink and company. Not your average Joe’s never fails to satisfy. Great family and date dining.
We met with our kids to have dinner since our kids are both on the Cape at this time. Our son and his wife and our daughter who just got engaged. We have been trying to get together for a while and it finally happened. We all had a great time! The food was great and everyone could order what they wanted. Our waitress Ashley was a true gem! She was very attentive and friendly. She was helpful with choices for drinks, meals etc and checked in with us if we needed anything! All in all we had a wonderful time. Thanks NYAJ's
We actually arrived later than or reservation but were seated immediately. Our waiter Joe was very pleasant and helpful.
Creative menu, pretty good on execution. I'd go back
Very good for lunch or dinner. Many good choices which taste good.
Wonderful food and even better service. We will be back!
The food was ok - but the service was not - we had to search for someone to pay for our meal.
As usual the food was excellent. The vegetables are always cooked just right. We especially love the bread and dipping oil.
We eat here often when we have business in Hyannis. Have been both for lunch and dinner many different times and have always enjoyed our meals. This trip we went for dinner and my husband got Jambalaya while I got their mustard panko crusted chicken. I asked for my meal with extra green beans and no potatoes and that's exactly what I got. The food is always consistently good, reasonably priced and the wine list is also reasonably priced. I recommend this restaurant as it is definitely one of the best chain type restaurants.
Nice gluten free menu options
I arrived first and my two guest arrived 15 min after me. For some reason they marked my reservation as a no show.
We thought this formerly 4star place and regular spot for us has gone downhill lately. Sereral times we have had poor service- even when the place looks empty! Now looking for a new neighborhood gem.
My husband and I have been to NYAJ's many times and have never been disappointed. This trip was on our way back from Pennsylvania and wanted to go to someplace familiar with good food. We also had a promotion for a free appetizer. We got the tuna appetizer and a regular pizza. Both were very good. We like our pizza well done and that's the way it came. There was a bit of a problem with the free appetizer promotion in having the price of the appetizer removed. Kelly, our server, took care of the problem straight away. I do believe this is a new promotion and there were a few kinks to work out. I definitely recommend this restaurant however it is very popular so when they are busy the noise level is a bit high. Service is not affected however.
It was awesome
Food is very good, conveniently located at the mall
Went here as our hotel was right next to the mall. Food was good. IT was their last day of the Oktoberfest menu, so they ran out of a few items on it. Would recommend to a friend
Everybody was very nice and friendly. If you didn’t like a table it was easily fixed. Food was great, pizza in particular was out of this world. The drinks were a spot of heaven. So if you want somewhere affordable with excellent service and amazing food and drinks then I highly recommend this place! Definitely cannot go wrong at all!
the prices have gone up . the food was not as good as in the past.
Seasonal menus differentiate Joe's from others. Regular menu always good too.
The food took a while to get delivered. Our server was great, and kept us informed of the process so the delay was okay. The food was a little disappointing. My salmon was drowned in a pesto sauce and didn't taste fresh. Our Caribbean chicken tenders were heavily battered and a little tough.
Although I indicated that the reservation was for a birthday when I made it on open-table, the server didn't get the note.
I really like this restaurant. Food is very good, service is wonderful, atmosphere is comfortable. The temp in the restaurant is almost alway cold but it warms up if there is a large crowd. Most of the time there is a
medium to very large crowd. Large bar. Noise can be a bit over much, but I do love this place!
We have been going here often over the years and obviously enjoy our evenings dining at "Joe's". Everyone makes the occasional error and @ Joe's when it does happen, which is very rarely, they immediately correct the situation. At Joe's the customer comes first. Yes, it is a chain. Yes, it is casual and not gourmet food nor do they pretend otherwise. However what sets them apart is their food is creative, tastefully seasoned, reasonably priced and a good value with ample proportions served by an attentive and informed waitstaff.
We visit Joe's every time we come to Hyannis on our CC vacay.
With the exception of the Greek salad - the food was awful. Hard scallops and rice and over cooked carrots. Disappointing. The one near home in Reston VA is great
Good food. Delicious thin crust pizza.
The bread and olive oil, cheese and hot pepper dip is to die for and plentiful.
Reservations on Open Table is fantastic as there’s always a wait!
Delicious and fresh.
Asked if we could have a booth. Told no then saw 2 empty, but not cleared yet ,booths as we were seated at a table. We did have a reservation. They ran out of gluten free bread. (It was 6pm). Ordered mustard crusted chicken. It came overcooked as had black burnt outside coating. Ate the least burnt piece. Told waitress I would box the other piece, take home and scrape off coating. She came back with the checjl and told me she had thrown it out. No discount on our check. I could have sent back to kitchen and had them re cook my dinner originally but by the time waitress came by to check on us, my husband had eaten most of his meal-which he enjoyed -Gluten free penne with scallops, shrimp. Was insulted when waitress said "maybe it wasn't your night to have the chicken". Have eaten here many times over the years. Will not be back.
All fresh made foods. The best ceasar salad I've ever had
Slow and inattentive service - burnt food not able to be sent back because no one ever came back. Non burnt food good- with better service it would have been a great experience. Drinks and food took forever to arrive. Staff just seemed young and not well trained. Not a manager in sight.
When my friends arrive from NY, the first evening meal is always at NYAJ's. Wide range of choices and the food is always good and generally too plentiful. Have not had a bad waitperson in all the years (twice a year) we go there.
But when I mention it to Cape Cod residents, almost no one seems to know of it's existence!
