Restaurant was very quiet during our visit on a Tuesday evening. Waitress was friendly and personable. She offered good tips on the menu when prompted but didn't over do it. She could have been more attentive with refilling beverages (had to ask for more water a few times), but otherwise offered good service. The food was prepared as ordered, arrived hot and tasted good. Parking at this location can sometimes be difficult (an issue with a previous visit during a very busy time, not an issue for this visit as the parking lot was 3/4 full so parking was very easy). Overall I would recommend this location and will return for a future meal.
This was a fundraiser for a family member. Excellent night
Always consistent, good food, drinks, prices and vibe.
We were seated shortly after our 7:00 reservation. We very much enjoy the focaccia and dip very much. The haddock was delicious and the grilled lemon is a wonderful accompaniment. The chicken piccata was also well cooked. Chicken was very tender. The pasta was a little over cooked. Service was lacking. If there had been a problem that needed attention, to bad for us. But fortunately, the food was good and no problem was had. We are repeat visitors to NYAJ in Burlington. But they are not all the same. Burlington rocks!
Service was good, the food was over cooked and flavorless, not worth the money.
Always a good time - the whole family enjoyed it
We had a large family gathering at the restaurant on a weekend night. Several in the group had been there before while others had not. On the plus side, our reservation was confirmed beforehand, the table was ready for us, our server was prompt and attentive and there were options to serve everyone’s tastes and diets. However, the food was disappointing for about a third of the group - including undercooked meat and fish and cold sides. Everything was corrected but it just took some time. I would definitely give the restaurant another try and we appreciated them letting us get together as a family!
Great as always!
Busy night and waiter was not able to provide service in a timely fashion. Two "bowls" and a special fish dish were good. We did not order drinks or dessert.
We very much like NYA Joe's and it is our "go to" place when we eat out. We were regulars at the Beverly location and tried the new location at NS Mall but like the ambiance at Burlington much better. NS is too big and noisy. I especially like the Waldorf Salad with chicken. It is always crisp, cold and fresh. The waitstaff is very friendly and we are never hurried but also never have long waits to be seated or to get our meals once ordered.
We dined here on Valentines Day. It was busy and noisy in the large dining area. We requested a booth and were quickly moved to a corner booth off the bar. It was fantastic. Service was friendly quick and courteous. Food was cooked to order and pace was acceptable. A great evening of dining at one of my favorite places!
Great Valentine’s Day dinner!
The food was delicious just like always. The prices of the menu items are very reasonable and the service was outstanding. I like the fact that the manager come to your table and asks you how your meal is.
We were celebrating Valentine’s Day.We had made reservations and were seated right away.We had salad that we shared greens, raspberries, candied walnuts and goat cheese. We both had delicious entrees and shared a Tarismu
Great food and service
First time to this location but always like NYAJ’s consistency at all locations.
Told my open table reservation was not showing on there screen. Lucky it was not busy anyways. Food & waitress was AMAZING.
The waitress was very pleasant and service was quick. Our meals were good, wouldn’t say great. The cosmo I ordered was the worst one I’ve ever had...The lime was overbearing and all I could taste. I didn’t complain because our waitress was so nice and she was busy. In other circumstances, I would have sent it back. Certainly not worth the $11.50 I was charged for a “house” Cosmo. My husband’s fish and chips were greasy he said. Best part about the meal s the bread and dipping oil!!
Our server Kayleigh (not sure of spelling) was amazing! Attentive yet not annoying. She handled every special request with ease. She brought me a drink refill on my soda without even being asked. The food was excellent. The temperature of the restaurant was perfect for a chilly rainy night.
Had a great time, and our server was perfect!!
I’m shocked by how small the portions are considering the prices...
The fish and chips was just ok. I don't think I'd recommend it.
Great as always, nice to see staff and managers working as a team to serve their amazing food. Lots of healthy along with comfort food options. One of the best places in Burlington hands down!
The food is always great!!! The restaurant needs some cosmetic updates.
We always love eating here because our three-year-old can be as loud or as soft as they want and it's perfect music level to hide it!
It was just okay. We like the Nashua location 100 times better. We were seated way in the back. Our waitress forgot about us for well over 20 minutes. The bread was cold, waitress was aloof and the food was just okay. We will drive linger to go to Nashua in the future.
New Years brunch
Dinner at Not Your Average Joe's in Burlington on New Year's Eve was quite enjoyable. Reservation was for 6:30 p.m. and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Menu was varied with a few new choices from past visits. Good service and reasonable prices.
First timers - food was delicious!
Had the chicken picatta. Sauce was perfect balance of butter, lemon and capers. Angel hair pasts was perfectly cooked. Outstanding!
Wrong order came out. Then waited another 20 min. for correct order to be prepared. When it was finally brought to the table, the steak was not cooked correctly (raw), was tough and tasteless. I had to turn it back and requested a simple haddock dinner which took another 20 min., but was good. Of course my friend, who was with me, had long finished and was just sitting there while waiting for two meals to cook and finally watched me eat my haddock. I kept my potatoes and vegetable from my returned steak, so I could have something to eat! I was hungry, when I came in, but waiting for two meals to be prepared was more than I could tolerate.
Very dissatisfying meal and evening! My meal was compensated by management, but whole experience was so bad, I shall not return or recommend Joe’s anytime soon!
Nice casual atmosphere.. great for families and watching sports.
We had a large party come to the restaurant. Everyone was promptly served, the food was good and the ambiance perfect for carrying on conversation. I had the Korean Salmon Salad which was excellent.
Great spot for lunch with fam and kids!
Food was average.
The gluten free choices were great!
The gluten free dishes tasted outstanding !!
Terrific fresh food with fabulous wait staff. A pleasure to frequent!
Always a good night out. Lots of healthy choices, fresh and delicious food, great service, and good drinks.
Joe's is always dependable for a good dinner. We requested a booth because we had a toddler with us. That worked out perfectly. We had a 5:30 reservation and weren't the only group with a small child. Service was quick which is key with little kid. When in double, go to NYA Joe's.
Our server was great and our food was awesome too! He even gave this me some of the yummy bread and oil to bring home.
