Amazing meal! Great drinks! The bread and dip is awesome! Our favorite place!
It was good.
Service, food, and atmosphere was pretty good. It's pretty noisy and an easy place to take children.
It was a wonderful evening out with my fiancé and our 20 month old daughter. The waitress was absolutely amazing with our daughter, playing with her, talking with her and even letting her draw in her ordering book. She was very attentive to not just our needs but our daughters needs. I only wish I remembered her name!! I will definitely be going there again.
Too Loud. Great location.
Love the patio! The impossible burger is amazing. We had an array of apps & entrees. This is a great go to that is consistent and super yummy.
Melvin our server was very kind, although he forgot to check on our drinks for a long stretch in the middle of dinner.
We started out on the patio but that quickly became intolerable due to initially, construction noise. Then we smelled burning and eventually, great clouds of smoke billowed over us. We moved indoors.
Good location and good food; however we missed the half sandwich and soup combination.
The service was slow and our drinks weren’t refilled in a timely manner. The food was terrible. I ordered the teriyaki quinoa bowl. It was soaking in so much oil. So much so that I had to hold the food in my fork against the edge of the bowl to drain some of the oil off of it. Absolutely no taste. Just oil. We decided to eat here because of the outside deck. Great location. Terrible food. Mediocre service. Don’t waste your time or money.
We have been to Not Your Average Joe’s a few times and we are never disappointed. Always great service and food is always delicious.
Expensive for food that wasn’t great. Much better value somewhere else
It was pretty average. Ok for a bite to eat. But nothing special.
Excellent service and food, great ambience. Loved it ! Our server Taylor was excellent!
A side salad took over 30 minutes to come up. They were out of the ahi tuna and it took them 25 minutes to notify me of this.
Great service and meal choices! We got suggestions on drinks and food and it was spot on!
Food has declined. Bland with little flavor
Food is consistently good as is the service.
Enjoyed the open terrace. Service was excellent. Will return.
We had a horrible experience. We arrived for our reservation and were asked to wait which was fine. Another party with the same amount of people walked in 5 minutes later and were seated while we were still waiting. We asked the hostess 20 minutes after our reservation if we could be seated and were led to a high top in the bar area. We have 3 small children so that table with high stools is not appropriate. The manager was rude and dismissive to us so we left. Incredibly disappointed.
I was disappointed in the service. The hosts were great upon my arrival but once we were seated, it took a while for our waiter/bartender to come to the table. I overheard him talking/complaining about how busy he was. I didn’t feel that he was very attentive. Not sure I’ll be back. Food was ok, not that hot upon its arrival to the table which after reading another review makes me wonder how long it had been ready but undelivered to my table.
With little kids on a full but not overly busy night, the food took over 45 minutes (and we could see it sitting under the lights for more than 10 and no one bothered to bring it to our table). The drinks from the bar never arrived and a couple of the meals were inedible and one of the meals was just wrong. This place is not worth your time, I won’t be back.
This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Our experience was made all the more by Nasir who ensured that our first experience was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable, conveyed enormous enthusiasm for the restaurant and menu and was simply delightful. It has been a long time since we’ve had such excellent service anywhere on the Mainline, Philly or in our extensive travels. This restaurant is perfect for any occasion and will delight with everything from comfort food to gourmet food fit for foodies.
Ok experience. My spouse’s beef tips were overdone and had to be sent back. My chicken pesto was dry. Waiter was pleasant and helpful. Movies on huge screen a distraction. Better than alternatives such as Bercy but not great.
I would maybe. We had a reservation. Seated promptly. After that it went downhill. appetizers plates (all 4) were dirty. Table had stains. We received our main meals before the appetizers. Food was okay but by then I was upset. Went to celebrate my birthday with my family. Did not even get dessert as I was ready to leave. My daughter recommended.
There were 5 of us. Everyone enjoyed their meals...pulled pork, burger, salmon, veggie bolognese. Our waiter was very efficient and personable. We weren't rushed which was great because we hadn't seen one another for awhile. I had been to this location before but the others had not and they were very pleased with NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE's.
I totally enjoyed the Impossible Caprese Burger! I will definitely order it again. I told hubby about it and he is willing to try it
Salmon salad was very good, even though it took an inordinate amount of time to get it. The manager apologized and took $6.00 (?) off our bill. Nice gesture, but seriously, not one of the salads? Dessert?
We like noisy places, it drowns out the sounds of our kids. We love to be animated.
Burgers not cooked correctly, fries forgotten , a lot of time between drink refills. Usually a much better experience .
Great waiter. Inside is a bit dark so we would have liked a bit more lighting.
Took our dad out for his 72nd birthday. They gave him a free dessert. He was happy! Other than sending my burger back twice because it was grossly undercooked, everything was nice and tasty!
Would give zero stars if possible. I am new to the area and was excited to go to Average Joes. In a matter of two weeks, I have had two terrible experiences and unfortunately will not be returning. Most recently, after making a confirmed reservation and calling to follow up twice. The hostess tried to seat my party of 8 at THREE different tables at the outside patio. We were instructed we could not move the tables together after being told multiple times previously that it would not be an issue. Following about a twenty - thirty minute wait, no one came to take our order or greet us in any way. Due to the poor service, We could not stay and took what could have been at least a $700 tab elsewhere. We went to Great American Pub and had an incredible experience. If you are in the neighborhood I would recommend avoiding this place and spending your money at a place that invests in good employees and is willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
The happy hour menu was limited and items that was listed were not available. A few people in our group was not satisfied with the food.
Food and service was great. There is a great outside area to sit to enjoy the nice weather.
It was Mother's Day. Service was great. The mothers in the party even received a small token after our meal. Everything was great despite the Sixers lost in the last seconds of the game.
Perfect place for Mother's Day dinner with kids. Plenty of kid friendly choices and yummy selections for the adults as well. It was a hit.
Food and atmosphere were great and the server was a hatdworking sweetheart.
As always I enjoyed my experience...4 stars instead of 5 because of Mother's Day crowd ...service was slow.
Overpriced and had to beg for water. 6 of the 6 eggs for our tables eggs Benedict were over hard. That’s annoying when that is one of three brunch options.
