Liked the atmosphere and the service was good however the food was mediocre.
Manager and waiter were very responsive to our needs
Perfect meal. Food was delivered hot, delicious and quickly despite being busy on a Saturday night. Cod was beautiful, fresh and tender
Candice made the evening better
Loved the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant!
Our server was fun and excellent.
Great food great time
Not the best representation of the franchise, service was a bit on the slow side, food was ok but the atmosphere was as expected.
Unique space (use to be the old Suburban theater) with a diverse and tasty food and drink menu. They pride themselves for having a large gluten-free menu and being able to accommodate any food allergies or sensitivities. Nice happy hour menu available at the bar area. Great for family or friends night out.
I thought it was very good food and the service was great.
We were seated next to a very loud table but we didn't mind. They were just having fun and the place was packed so it was already pretty loud. Overall I enjoyed myself very much and so did my mother and sister. Looked gorgeous, very friendly and the food was delish! Thanks a lot.
Solid all the way around, prompt service by our waiter Andrew, delicious focaccia bread on the table, and the entries were delicious.
Great bbq meatloaf ! Was very quit during our meal
Our waitress was excellent, the food was good. We have frequently dined here and been pleased. I was stunned when we were chatting after finishing our meal and we were asked if we would make the table available for other patrons. We just spent in excess of $200 and wanted to chill for a bit before we left. There were other tables open around us. This will keep our group from dining there again.
Awesome waitress and food always delicious
Had to wait 30 mins to be seated. Our reservation was 7 and we didn’t get seated until 7:30
gluten free menu adds a lot for my family. The grandkids with celiac disease love the bread and peppered oil. Excellent steak and wedge and mustard crusted chicken. Avery good place for dinner with very attentive staff.
Our server never took our order and we left after 30 minutes of other tables being served.
Our waiter was fun and very good. The food was very good. Unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes beyond out 6:30 reservation to get a table which was disappointing.
The Bisque was not hot and they have discontinued a favorite - Chicken Enchiladas. This used to be a favorite place of mine but it has dropped a notch.
Not our first time here and we have never been disappointed! We have had a large party after graduation, many beautiful dinners on the outside deck and lately we dined at a round table in the dining area. From the hostess, to the server, to the manager to checking on us, it was a wonderful dining experience. We all had delicious apps or entress! (Thank you wonderful chefs!). We were even given 💕chocolate covered mints after our meal.
The service was great. The cheesesteak egg rolls were wonderful. Their signature bread and oil dipping sauce was very good. My husband had the steak it was a little under cooked but the kitchen sent out a new dish right away.
Sawyer was our waiter. He was personable and an absolute joy to have serving us. The coconut shrimp was delicious. If you kept that on the menu, I would frequent NYAJ more.
Always a tasty option to choose from. Good place for a break shopping
The hostesses were funny and helpful with our Open Table change from 3 persons to 4, as well as with the aggressive woman waiting with a res for over an hour later. Hayley our server was attentive, personable & unobtrusive. It was a bit loud in the middle of the main floor, so close to other tables that it felt family-style.
Good food, great service and a cool atmosphere. We had a party of 11 and our server was very accommodating.
Great food, bad service. Waited 20 minutes for water and bread. One of our entrees arrived 20 minutes before everyone else's entree. Ended up spending over 2 hours there due to the poor service and timing. very frustrating evening
Great happy hour and then onto dinner. Pricing reasonable. Fresh vegetables.
NYAJ is our go-to neighborhood eatery. I LOVE the Impossible burger, and the sangria is terrific. Our waitress, Jen, has waited on us many times before, and she is always attentive without hovering.
What made this time a standout for me was that another waitress, Val, recognized us and came over just to say hello and see how we were doing. She didn't have to do that, but she made us feel special. Thanks so much, Val!
My wife and I have never had a meal at JYAJ’s that was less than very good. It’s the best casual dining around. This time, our server was particularly good... extremely attentive, very friendly and efficient. It’s a vibrant atmosphere with very dependably good food and service.
Always a nice lunch. Thanks Enjoy seeing my friend and catching up.
Good menu and good food. Had a fantastic waitress. Liked the beer selection. Definitely going back
7:00 reservation, seated 7:20
We only stopped in for dessert and coffee/ tea/ and a possible drink
It was a night out with the kids. Dinner was great! Love the Gluten Free Menu!
great food and service. a fair amount of food for the price. based upon the price of draft beer, alcohol is where their money is made.
Do not miss the desserts. We had the peanut butter thing and hot apple cinnamon sticks--both were delicious!!
great service & food. best bread ever
This was a repeat visit. We like the venue. It’s an old theater and they keep that vibe with a large screen showing previews of classic films. Food is good for the type and the prices are on par for the area. Service is always top notch. We will return.
Won’t be coming back. Chicken was raw in the middle.
We had three chicken dishes. Exterior was cooked but thickest part was pink and under cooked in appearance texture. Gross getting halfway through a meal and coming to the raw part. My wife spent the better part of the night puking in the bathroom. I doubt we’ll ever come back.
There are many good things, but completely screwing up the food is unacceptable.
