This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and purveyors, our dedicated staff, and of course with you, our guest.

    Great menu in terms of variety of dishes, something for everyone. We were there on Friday and they had several fish/seafood specials in each menu category. The food was wonderful as always and the service was faultless. This is truly a great restaurant.

    Perfect evening from the Black Manhattan to the chicory salad to the gnocchi alla Romana to the chocolate brownie gelato. The service was friendly and efficient and I can’t wait to go back!

    What a great experience! The restaurant was very busy when I arrived with a pleasant stream of activity. The ambience was excellent and a fun bustling atmosphere. We sat at the bar as we were going to a show, and James the bartender was excellent. I mean excellent! He was super knowledgeable, engaging, and offered options. As I was doing dry January he offered some really great nonalcoholic drink selections. The food was also great. I need to come back when I can stay longer fantastic place! A+

    The food was good, but not great. I had the diavolo pizza (crust and cheese were perfect, but not spicy enough and they skimped on the meat). My partner had the stuffed pork and said he wouldn’t order it again (just ok). The crab cakes appetizer was tasty, as was the gelato for dessert. The mixed drink I ordered was watered down. I love the decor and atmosphere here. The staff are attentive. They do add 22% surcharge to every table to give their staff a livable wage, which is fine but then they also suggest a tip for the server on top of that which is going too far in my book.

    One of our favorite places to eat. Last night we were there celebrating my husband's Birthday. We had the fondue for an appetizer which isn't usually on the menu and it was perfectly arranged and delicious! I had gnocchi and my husband had steak. I was pleased to see the large selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. It's not easy to find this. I had "when doves cry" and it was just right, refreshing without being too sweet. Can't wait to go back and look forward to lunch there at some point?

    Nostrana is my absolute favorite restaurant in town. Not trendy. It is consistently wonderful for everything. Love having a sommelier to help choose a good wine in my price range. Comfortable service that pays attention to the details. They have refreshed the dining room to reduce the noise, but it is still a loud room - book for early dinner to have a quieter experience.

    Nostrana is truly exceptional in every way. From the creative ways they installed their diffusing sound panels to the flowers, to the art in the bathroom, Nostrana continues to impress me over and over again. Of course, their food is delicious in every way and never disappoints, but their service is wonderful too. The kindness of every staff member can’t be beat! It’s hands down our favorite restaurant in Portland.

    We had the best table with an overview of the entire dining room. Molly took great care of us! Tuna appetizer was sooooo tasty. I had the scallops which were fantastic and my husband had the linguine with calamari. The wine sommelier picked out our wine for us and it was amazing! It went well with our dishes. Desert was a limoncello cake and they recommended the moscato pairing which we did and we were not disappointed. Nostrana has a great vibe, good energy and great food! Can’t wait for next time.

    Our chicken ended up coming out raw. When we sent it back they remade it, even though we’d lost our appetites at that point. They ended up charging us for the chicken on the bill and offering free dessert. Overall poor service and excuses for a meal that could make made us ill. Would not return to this restaurant.

    Nice server/bartender, knowledgeable about the menu. We sat at the main bar in the dining room. The only problem was it was inline with the hallway coming from the door, and it was a very cold drafty place to sit. Food and drink was great.

    The trout was cooked perfectly. The fettuccini was delicious and adding mustard and spinach greens to it as a side worked well. The potato leak soup was rich and flavorful. The service was perfect - quick but not hurried and there when you need them but not intrusive. Their cocktails were also great and the seating warm and comfortable.
