Opened in 2005, Nostrana is Chef/Owner Cathy Whims' love letter to Italy. This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and purveyors, our dedicated staff, and of course with you, our guest.
We hope to offer something timeless and authentic in a beautiful space, the regional specialties of Italy deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest. We strive to be better every day.

Pasta was phenomenal, wine menu vast, the only thing that was just okay was the dessert. Everything else was great. Would defiantly come back again!
This happy hour is incredible! We had two bottles of wine, pizza, pasta, and dessert and everything was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations. It’s a fun energy with indoor and outdoor seating.
Always amazing. Been a favorite for years. Top notch menu, beautiful wines.
In town from Chicago for a wedding and took a friend’s recommendation to eat at Nostrana. So glad we did! They accommodated a 6:00 reservation request and we had a fabulous meal. From the outstanding fresh bread/focaccia upon arriving and the professional, courteous and prompt service of our waiter we had a delightful evening. The burrata appetizer was so good...marcona almonds a nice touch! We shared one salad and a sausage pizza as appetizers...then had 2 outstanding pasta and pork/steak dishes. Authentic and fresh. Great meal.
We enjoyed it all, including the very sweet chicken candle brought to the table in a celebratory flourish for the birthday dessert. At our seating for four, high notes included vibrant radicchio salad, meltingly tender gnocchi, and pilgrimage worthy chocolate boudin.
As always, our experience was great. The service, food, drinks, wine - all wonderful. We were lucky enough to dine on gnocchi night, and the gnocchi alla Romana was spectacular! The four of us shared that, the Insalata Nostrana, the granchio pizza, and that evening's salmon. And, of course, ended with the butterscotch budino. The wine was fabulous. Looking forward to our next meal there!
Absolutely excellent food and wide variety of unique wines! Will definitely be back!
The inside seating area is always too noisy. We opted for the patio and although we had reservations we had to wait quite a while. I finally went and asked the hostess and she got us seated right then. There were two other open tables for four besides ours. I’m not sure what happened there. We’re we forgotten? Once seated we had excellent service and the flavors were a dining adventure!
Nice outdoor seating. Extensive wine list. Very busy and had to wait for table despite reservation but food was worth the wait!
A busy evening @ Nostrana but were seated on time at the restaurant bar after enjoying a glass of wine and ciabatta bread in the wine bar.
Short time for a drink and pizza to share before a show @ Revolution Hall - bartender was prompt, courteous and accurate on drinks and food which was very good.
Overall a pleasant dining experience.
This evening at Nostrana was so delicious and such a fun culinary experience. We sat at the counter overlooking the pizza oven. It was fascinating watching him make about 100 pizza’s and so many different kinds. Super fun!
The butter lettuce salad was fantastic and the pork shoulder with polenta was delicious
Service was spot on and very attentive.
Exceptional food. Great service. Lovely outdoor spot. Good location, proximate to Revolution Hall. We thoroughly enjoy our meal and look forward to a return visit.
Our trip to Nostrana was even better than I imagined.
Noise level is high. Service is great. Sit ANYWHERE but the table at the corner of the bar. I lost track of all the bumps and nudges by customers and staff, mainly customers accessing the restroom or seatings.
Fantastic food and great atmosphere with great service, what else could you ask for. Great restaurant. Nostrana has it down!!!
Nostrana is one of our favorite restaurants and has been for many years. Their Italian offerings allow vegetarians, vegans and meat lovers to find delicious dinner/lunch alternatives. Our standard meal begins with a pizza to share (for four). The scissors provided allow creative slice creation! Next we share a Nostrana salad (radicchio and Caesar dressing). Main courses vary each night and provide an anchor for the meal. At the start of ordering we most often get the berry cobbler (20 minutes required).
We have never been disappointed At Nostrana!
Nice and interesting food, terrific and knowledgeable service, friendly atmosphere. Been here before; will come here again.
Food and service outstanding as aleaus
The most memorable, delicious meal I've had in a long time. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to go back.
Mushroom Pizza was amazing! Radicchio salad so good! Great atmosphere and outdoor seating area. Good vibe!
We went to Nostrana for my birthday. Nostrana never disappoints! The crab ravioli was to die for, the waitress and wine steward recommended a great wine, and dessert was excellent!
The facility is nice but we didn't care for the food. The salmon was cooked skin side down and charred to a brunt crisp. Flavorless. My wife had the crab dish and didn't care for it either. Best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes and wine. They now charge for bread. The food runner dropped the plates and ran. Acted annoyed because I asked for pepper. Our server was great. We most likely will not return because of this experience and the lack of pasta choices (only 4).
We mistakenly ordered the 85$ steak instead of the smaller. I wished our server would have questioned our choice, but we really enjoyed it. Took home quite a bit. Otherwise it was a lovely anniversary dinner.
Everything was delicious!!! The service was amazing. I will certainly be back.
It remains a wonderful place for great food. I love bringing guests who are always impressed by the food and restaurant itself.
Really fabulous meal. Inside in insufferably loud. The patio is just right.
Nostrana has amazing food. They also were very welcoming and nice to my dog on the patio. They served her water and everything. The outdoor seating is absolutely stunning too.
Lovely Birthday lunch for our daughter, excellent service food and wine. The candle and dessert were lovely.
Great room, sat at the bar watching the kitchen work was a treat. Drinks were amazing as was the food. Had a hard time choosing what to order. Wanted to try but all. House made bread with Burro is essential.
After being seated we had no acknowledgement for almost 10 minutes. The drink orders were taken, then the food. All was ok then til after the salad and we waited and waited for dinner. They’ve been much better in the past. Second bottle of wine was certainly slow to arrive and wasn’t offered to us but we had to flag them down for it. Also had to wait for more water.
A $300+ dinner for 5 people should have been better.......
Great server, solid menu. Would return without hesitation
It was very noisy to talk business but the food was amazing
Excellent service from start to finish...requested and was given the perfect table. Not rushed...food was great, extensive wine list, our server Gina was terrific!
Awesome and food is great. The service is attentive n we got seated right awsy
The noise level inside is truly obnoxious. However, this time we sat outdoors, which was a delight.
I made a reservation for our lunch and indicated it was a birthday. It was not until after we had eaten lunch, had coffee and were almost ready to leave that the waitress appeared with a candle and two very tiny cookies for the birthday. An afterthought I'm sure. Also, the wines by the glass and by the bottle are outrageously expensive. I feel that it would be reasonable to offer a glass of wine for $8 rather than the prices listed. The least expensive red wine was $49 a bottle. Ridiculous prices.
If you want a fun atmosphere and decent food it’s good. Overrated I thought
Started briefly at the bar—moved efficiently to dining table. Food was great. Service was professional and courteous.
Loved the Jazz pizza special and the steak. I also frequent here for their negronis! Phenomenal happy hour as well.
The wine list was excellent
the menu offered great choices and we enjoyed every dish
The service was a bit slow
