We came for restaurant week and each received an appetizer, main dish, and dessert for $25 a person. We loved the scallops on spiralized cucumbers, kale salad with beets and walnuts, pork chop over grits, mac and cheese, and the earl grey pot de creme. It's a pricey restaurant, but I feel like you get quality food in good serving sizes and a great location. We got excellent service from our waiter too! They even called the day of our reservation to check on any food allergies, dietary restrictions, etc. This was very thoughtful.
We went during restaurant week and each got a 3 course meal for $25. Food was fresh, local, and cooked well ... with some fun flavor pairings. My one critique is that draft beers were on the pricey side for downtown Greenville. We had a total of 3 different draft beers, and each was $7 -- so maybe look elsewhere if you are trying to keep the bill reasonable but still have a few drinks.
The food and service were great. It was our first time there and the waitress was very friendly and quick to come by and ask how we were doing. They were able to seat us early which was helpful and the only issue was that the tables were a bit too close together. Overall, I would recommend!
Wonderful dining experience.
We came to try Nose Dive solely because Soby's was closed for renovation and it is a sister restaurant. It had mixed reviews but other people's opinions don't usually away my own opinion. I liked the dining room and over all vibe of the place. The service was good but not great. Mac and cheese was over sauced and a little bland. Fish and chips were below average with a frozen French fry. The best thing in our table was the chicken on the chicken and waffles. At the end our group felt it wasn't the best dinner we have had by any means but the price point at this location made it worth it and we would be glad to try it again. Also I didn't like to have to call back and confirm a 5:30 resurvation and then show up to an empty restaurant.
Once again enjoyed a pleasant dining experience at Nose Dive - good food, relaxed atmosphere.
Chicken and waffles could’ve used more spices. Southern burger was quite good! Pretzel appetizer was good , but too pricey. I wouldn’t call it a gastropub as we expected the menu to be much larger.
Our New Years Eve dining experience was excellent. Our server, Matt, whom we have had before, is always attentive and helpful with menu tips. Tonight was no exception We love the atmosphere and always enjoy dining here. In fact, my husband and I have realized Nosedive is probably our favorite in Greenville and that says a lot. I am particularly happy that the staff endeavors to accommodate special requests.
The Chicken and Waffles at Nose Dive is simply amazing and a meal
I can’t wait to return and reorder. I am not sure if I will ever be able to try another meal here it is that good.
The duck was fantastic with a light cherry sauce and roasted vegetables. Nicely done!
