Excellent food and service
My boyfriend and I ate at Nose Dive for our anniversary dinner, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The food and service were great!
Food was great server was very nice but at times we felt abandoned.
We’ve been to Nose Dive 3 or 4 times and this was the least satisfactory experience of all. Service was fine, and our table was in a good location, but the food was really sub-par. Two mac n cheese sides came out pretty much cold in the center. Grilled cheese was not really browned on one side at all, and also served cold. Fries were cold. Burger and fish n chips came out ok, but nothing stellar. This restaurant is in a convenient location, but the food really wouldn’t prompt me to return.
Nosedive never disappoints and their Thanksgiving meal was no exception. Amazing and interesting food, sharp and hardworking staff- will definitely return next year.
Flavorful food- oysters, kske salad and burger. Service was prompt, not rushed. Exceptional experience.
Our Server was amazing! Very kind and attentive! Fantastic job!! Please take care of these employees! You guys are lucky to have them represent you.
Overall great time at brunch for a friend's birthday. The only exception was the host (young guy) that greeted us. Maybe we could have just a little more friendliness and some personality for the person that is the first contact at a restaurant. But overall the food was great, mimosas amazing and the waitress was attentive and friendly.
Great food and excellent service. Will definitely go back soon.
Modern decor and large windows facing downtown Main Street give it a hip city feel but inside was calm, not bustling, not a noisy bar scene. Limited menu but includes meat, chicken, fish, vegetable, vegan and GF options. The platter of roasted vegetables was excellent: everything was cooked to perfection including the al dente carrots, the crispy tiny Brussels sprouts, the creamy mashed potatoes and the wilted and still-warm spinach. Service was excellent. Overall a great experience.
Sims took excellent care of us. Large amount of outdoor seating.
Our waitor Brett was one of THE best servers we have ever had. Informative, fun, energetic, helpful, knowledgeable and full of life!!! Food was delicious and everything came out prepared as requested. Love the vibe and atmosphere of your restaurant. When we visit Greenville again this will be a must stop. Thank you for the great experience!
Food was very good, service was great. We love having dinner there. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Birthday dinner with family
Great ambiance! Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten and/or dairy free. The salmon was delicious!
Brunch burger came with an inch long piece of plastic that was swallowed, and caught in the throat. Immediate help was requested from the server, who did nothing. Trip to the emergency room and surgery followed. Contact with business owner (Carl Sobocinski) has been ignored.
Friday is Fish n Chips night so I ordered Fish n Chips. So disappointing. The chips (fries) were limp as was the breaded, fried fish. Not sure if the plate sat too long under a heat lamp but the effect was a limp and lame meal. The beer was good, thank you Edmund's Oast! The chair seat cushions tattered. That said the service was very good. The reservation process was mystifying--I reserved a table for two via Open Table and had only two options: 5PM or after 9PM. I chose 5PM. We departed around 6:30PM and there were plenty of tables still available.
Appetizers were good, but my wife’s chicken sandwich came out uncooked, in other words the chicken was severely pink when you cut into it. Although we identified the issue with our server, she didn’t take it back until I had completed my meal. So they gave us credit for the sandwich, but there was no replacement. This we had to stop at a different restaurant to get my wife something to eat. I rarely give bad reviews but I just had to in this case.
My hubby and i had another great meal and service at Nose Dive. Our server was Trinity and she was excellent—very pleasant and personable while being very competent at taking care of us. The food, as usual, was delicious. One of my favorites is the veggie plate—very yummy. My hubby had a burger, which he said was great. We always enjoy eating at Nose Dive whenever we’re in Greenville at our daughter’s!
Visit here often for business lunches or brunch. Nice spot, especially if you can snag a table outdoors. Food is fresh and reliably good. Service is usually quick and professional.
Great ambiance and location. Food was mediocre and price reflected location. GF friendly was definitely a plus.
The food was not very good, would recommend other places over this.
Everything was very tasty, but my friend ordered a side item that didn’t come out until the end of our meal, even though she asked a couple of times. Service was great otherwise.
Always good food. Service is good considering a smaller wait staff than usual. Server was friendly and attentive.
Just love the pretzel bites for an appetizer and salmon dish for an entree ! Never disappoints and reasonably priced
Enjoyed a nice dinner prior to seeing a show at the Peace Center. The food was good, if not memorable, service was very good. Very glad we had reservations since it was the Saturday evening during Fall For Greenville and the streets were packed.
I have visited The Nosedive many times as I attend the Saturday Matinee at the Peace Center. The food is always consistent and good. Service is good and it is very conveniently located in the downtown.
Did not have a great experience with our waitress - inattentive - constantly running off to do something else. She took my drink order but didn’t wait for my husband’s. - same with dinner. My chicken and waffles were fine. My husband’s hamburger was okay but the fries tasted old and reheated. The butter lettuce salad was good.
The food is really good and reasonably priced. We loved our waiter Kyle. Had him in the bar on a previous visit and now ask for him every time!
Only negative comment is that the menu hasn't changed much over time
Spa Burger was delicious! Great sweet potato fries. Our server, Mason suggested dipping our sweet potato fries in honey. He brought us some and it was great.
Loved everything about it!
Parents weekend (Furman)
This was our first time eating at Nose Dive. We have been to the bar several times. The food was delicious. And, Kyle, our waiter, outstanding! We will return.
Food was very good and the ambience was spectacular.
Great food and service!!!
Great spot that’s reliably good. Our issue was that we made a reservation and requested outdoor seating, but our table had been given away before we arrived. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table to come available.
Love the atmosphere at Nose Dive. My brother came from NC to buy me lunch for my birthday and Nose Dive was my first choice. Excellent service and great food.
I understand there is a labor shortage, our waitress was slow. She wouldn’t take our order until she was ready even though we waited semi-patiently for 20 minutes just to get water. Food was ok but not great, I have had great experiences in the past. I was really disappointed with the food and service.
