The restaurant features an eclectic menu of comfort foods and "pub" fare. Signature dishes include a BLACK ANGUS GASTRO BURGER and FISH & CHIPS. NOSE DIVE also offers a wide selection of handcrafted beers and a carefully-constructed wine list. The patio at NOSE DIVE is the perfect place to enjoy Greenville's beautiful Main Street.
Location, service, food!!! Awesome.
The food, service and location are very good. I would recommend to a friend if they can handle the noise.
Highly recommend the grits bar!
The Fish and Chips were fair. Didn't really have much flavor and the fries were barely warm. Not what I am used to since I've been several times. Maybe it was an off night.
Cooperative server. Delicious food. What more do you want?
Very good food
We made a 9pm reservation for a Sunday night, not realizing the restaurant closed at 9. Earlier in the day they called to ask us to hurry over from the show, as we were the last table of the night. When we got there, they were cleaning up the dining room, staff members had their jackets on and were in varying stages of leaving, and we felt like we were keeping the last waiter there just for us. I wish they would have just cancelled our reservation. Or better yet - don't take a 9pm Sunday reservation if that's when you close.
Really nice place with very good service. We plan on going back next time we are in Greenville.
My choice was very good. Had the vegetable plate with a side of fried chicken. The veggies were well prepared and there was a good variety. Just wish they had not put the other veggies in the sweet potato puree as everything was stuck in it. Would rather have had that under one thing on the edge of the plate at least. Dinner partner had the salmon with honey nut glaze, greens and jasmine rice. He found it was too sweet and wished it had been serviced on the side. Was cocerned about the gastropub tag on this place as we really were not interested in the usual slider, BBQ, taco items. Really good find on the veggie plate though. Service was okay but server did not now what the Happy Hour wines were and had to ask only to find out there was no Happy Hour on Sundays. Crowd level wasn't too bad. Had reservations with plenty of open tables available but was led to the worst table right by the kitchen (curtained) entrance. Not sure why they did that. Asked to be redirected to better table and was not given any resistance so still not sure why they would lead us to the worst possible table when so many were open that were for two people. So there were some off things here. Generallly pleased overall though.
This was my second visit and once again I was not disappointed, everything was great. My quests were first timers and they both are planning their next trip. They could not take their eyes off other's plates as they passed by our table. The staff was excellent, never missed a beat. I will be back.
We loved it! Will definitely come again!
Fabulous food and very social vibe. Frustrated we had to wait 20 minutes with a reservation and the hostesses did not acknowledge the wait. Service at the table was great.
It took over 30 minutes to receive our order. Some of the items were not hot! It was a very noisy environment.
Busy place with lots of energy!!! Food is good!
This is our second time eating at Nose Dive and loved it as much as the first. Recommend making a reservation as the place is busy. Usually around 45 minutes to an hour wait with out a reservation. Food is delicious. Will return on our next trip to Greenville.
Loud and eclectic venue to eat at. Food was decent, server was great and attentive. May or may not return. Food was just average for us.
Our first time: husband had the beef burger which he said was tasty but way too much salt on the fries. I had the mac and cheese based on a review but it was absolutely awful: absolutely no taste at all. However, I added the brisket was was excellent: moist, tender and tasty. Will definitely plan to return when we visit the Peace Center again.
We were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us with a delicious gluten free chocolate brownie cake. It was the best
This was the perfect place for brunch. We sat outside on the patoo with our pets. Waitress was amazing and even brought the dogs water. Food was also very good from French toast to fish and chips, all were excellant.
The ambiance of the restaurant was quite appealing, but it doesn't make up for the mediocre food and specialty cocktails that are no better than those that I make at home. I wouldn't be able to recommend the restaurant unless the price point were lower.
Food and atmosphere outstanding. Our waiter was knowledgeable and prompt but didn’t hover! Love this place.
Our waitress was amazing and knowledgable...when we walked in, we were greeted immediately and seated. (We did have a 7:30 reservation). Everything was simply AMAZING!! I will definitely be returning!
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch at one of the outside/curbside tables. Tremendous service & nice meal - would definitely go back.
Fantastic! Get the mac and cheese - you will not be disappointed!
We went late, after a concert, and were about the last people seated. We had the impression, from the hostess to the server, that they wanted to be out... courteous yet quick/rushed.
The food was good, but the general tenor of the menu turned out not to be “our thing” - that was our problem, not the restaurant’s - but folks should check more than we did before going (we went on a recommendation). We were also disappointed that a gastro pub had only canned and bottled beer - a good selection, yes, but we expected at least some on tap.
Enjoyed an early dinner before a 6:30 show at the Peace Center. Reservation was easy to make & we were seated right away. Appreciated that our entire party did not have to be present for us to be shown to our table. Our waiter indicated he was covering a larger number of tables so we did not see much of him. My husband loves the Nose Dive black bean burger & I am a huge fan of the lobster roll & sweet potato fries. We were disappointed that the price of the lobster roll had increased by $1. Restaurant has a great location and wide variety on the menu. I miss the pretzel & crab appetizer that was offered a few years ago.
The food was good as always, but I was surprised that even after making a reservation, we still had to wait 25 minutes for our table. That was pretty disappointing.
Nice first experience at Nose Dive. Great location right on Main St. Open and inviting atmosphere, a little loud but not horrible for being a packed house. Service was good, although had to wait for water refills numerous times. Food was tasty, except the fries weren't warm and were a little soggy. We ordered the Chicken Fil-ay and Fish and Chips and both were delicious. Fried to perfection without being greasy or over-breaded. They also had a grits bar that looked great. Overall, a very enjoyable Sunday Brunch.
Good, quick, pleasant staff.
Great customer service and environment. Will be going there again
The food was fantastic! It was a little loud and hot inside though. I definitely recommend making a reservation before going. Those without one had a 2 hour wait before they could be seated.
Great food, one of our favorites.
Server was very attentive and friendly. Checked in on us but did not rush us at all. Burger was one of the best I ever had: prepared exactly as ordered - a rare occurence (no pun intended).
Great place! Service, food, beer selection was all A+. Looking forward to returning.
Excellent. Reservation with no waiting, excellent food, excellent service, great atmosphere!
Booked a reservation for Valentine's Day. Even though the place was pretty full, we still had attentive service! They were good about working with my wife to figure out what was safe for her to eat (she is gluten free/allergic to wheat), and their gluten free burger buns are quite delicious! Good local brew selection as well.
Very limited menu. We both had the flat iron steak, which was well prepared but had been pre-sliced, which made it get cold before we could finish even half. The green beans and potatoes were uninspired, but the creme brulee was very good. Nice atmosphere, and a nice Valentine's day dinner date, but could have been better.
Service was awesome and the waitress was very personable! Food was decent, but not amazing. The drinks stood out and were very tasty. Definitely would recommend!
Overall a nice experience. Good pricing. Chicken was over cooked, and the service was fair at best
