North Star Bistro is our favorite restaurant and it was the perfect place to celebrate Fathers Day. The food is always fabulous and our server Carol always goes above and beyond. We recommend North Star to everyone - you can't go wrong. You will never be disappointed.

We haven't been here in many years. It was one of the few places open in the Brookfield area so we gave it a try again. Food was very fresh. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was really good. Our server Megan was really friendly and attentive. We will be going back again.

We had the Poke bowl with Salmon and the Blackened Tuna. Both were really good. The Tuna dish was full of incredible flavors.

Such a treat! A friend and I had lunch at NorthstarBistro Brookfield yesterday. Food was delicious and our server was so pleasant and efficient. Salmon salad and a crab cake salad were both superb. And peach cobbler was out of this world. We will be returning soon!

Friendly, welcoming and thoughtful to our needs (over 65 years old). We ate inside. Social distancing was enforced and asked if we had any concerns. It was an excellent experience eating inside a restaurant in months.

We are long time customers but did not know what to expect on our first "in house" dinner since the virus outbreak...could not have been better. The staff were all in masks, social distancing was practiced, one use paper menus, etc. If you are looking for safe place to dine in, this is it...

We usually go on Friday nights for the fish special. For us it’s usually a fun local restaurant. The only negative is that the fish, and I’ve tried it fixed many ways is usually over cooked. I’m sure we will go back at some point, but not our first choice.

Had the best experience from our wait staff to the meal! Every one of our four meals was amazing. One of my new top five restaurants for sure. This was our first dinner there (in the past only had lunch) - but it will not be our last for sure! Highly recommend!!!!

So handy to do an open table reservation and make sure we had a table on a Saturday night. Ambiance is nice and quiet so we can talk to each other - appreciate that!

Food always very good but it seemed like they were understaffed for such a big crowd and service suffered despite our servers best efforts.

We had the loveliest evening. Friendly hostess greeted us and took us to a comfortable booth. It was cozy and clean with nice lighting, and quiet enough so we could enjoy good conversation. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. And oh my goodness, the entrees and dessert were exquisite. There were three of us and we had the duck, salmon and tuna, with cherry cobbler for dessert. The price was reasonable.

First time eating here and it was great. Despite being very busy for a Sunday night, seated immediately and had great service. They graciously allowed us to stay at our table till after close and never made us feel rushed. Definitely go back in the future.

I love this restaurant. I have not been here in awhile & wanted to try the Brunch menu. It did not disappoint. I really enjoyed items that are not on the normal Lunch Menu.

We’ve visited on a Friday during Lent. The restaurant ran out of both shrimp and cod in the middle of Friday night.

Food here is consistently good - which is why we keep going back! We tried several of the new menu items and they were delicious! Our reserved booth wasn't ready right when we got there (which is no big deal to us....no restaurant can predict exactly how long people will take to eat) - but the hostess was apologetic and offered to buy us a drink while we waited for it to be available -- which we felt was going above and beyond! We really enjoy this place and will be back!

Our service was excellent. The new Mushroom Crostini appetizer is delicious. My favorite is always the Creme Brulee

North Star is a friendly, no-flash home for good food at a fair price. We have never had a bad experience here.

Every thing was great except my toast was very dry , and didn’t come buttered which would have been nice. Overall brunch was amazing. Especially the corned beef hash!! Huge chunks of real corn beef. Yummy!
