Located within Lincoln Park, at the edge of a pond overlooking Chicago's dramatic skyline, North Pond can easily claim the city's loveliest setting. Inspired by the market, Chef César Murillo utilizes exceptional ingredients at the height of their season. His tasting menu reflects the Arts & Crafts approach of the dining room - complex layers of subtle craft beneath a simple decorative style.

North Pond is open for dinner Thursday through Sunday beginning at 5:30pm. We feature a four course tasting menu. Sunday Brunch begins at 10:30am and is a three course prix fixe. We do not offer valet parking. A cancellation charge of $25 per person is applied to all same day cancellations.

Fantastic meal, went for my sisters birthday and they printed her name on the menu and provided a special dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back this summer!

We were married here 8 years ago (family still talks about what an awesome wedding it was) and when come back every year to celebrate (even though we no longer live in Chicago). This please does not disappoint! It you want a fab culinary experience, awesome service and spectacular view of the best city in the world, North Pond Restaurant should be on your “Must See” list! Our brunch at North Pond was FANTASTIC! We were served nine different food dishes, and every one of them was amazingly delicious! The service was excellent too. And it features its exquisite setting in the middle of the park, facing its namesake pond with the city skyline looming over the opposite shore. We love coming here and now it's better than ever!

Excited to try North Pond after walking past the restaurant so many times over the last few years. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Food was beautifully presented but the taste profiles were bland and disappointing. Of the 4 of us dining - only two dishes stood out, the elk and the quail. Otherwise, we were uniformly unimpressed. With a total bill over $1000, I expected much better. In fact, I have had much better in Chicago for 1/2 the cost.

Nick, our waiter, was fantastic. I ordered the wine pairing, and he told us about the grapes, the vintners and why each wine went with the individual dish. He added immensely to the dinner. The food was exceptional and just the right amount. It was our anniversary and the restaurant sent some extras our way that made things even more special. My wife and I are already planning our next visit.

The best food and service. Great historic setting, asked about the slogan carved into the wood fascia, and was presented with a list of all the slogans about the premises. I recommend the wine flight. Everything on the prefixe menu was different this time, has elk, quail and some kind of tart. It was delicious.

The choices for every course were fantastic. In fact, I would have been happy with all three second course choices as my pre dessert meal. The variety of selections and the imagination in putting each plate together are beyond admirable. The many wonderful tastes in every dish, presented by very caring and knowledgeable servers make for a perfect evening. I am still savoring my tuna tartare, celery root, truffles, mushrooms, quail and chocolate! Can't wait to return again, again and again!

We are vegetarians. Every course, starter, entree, and sweet, were outstanding, even the Champagne Cocktail. Every taste was contrasting and complementary, like a Mozart Symphony. THE place for a very special occasion.

Went here for our anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences either of us had ever had. The service was outstanding, they accommodated my dietary restriction knowledgeably and consistently, the wine pairing was perfect, and the food was outstanding. There were several instances where we looked at each other and said "I've never tasted that before" in the best way possible. It's pricey, not a regular outing for the vast majority of us, but for a special occasion it's the perfect spot.

Everything about our experience at North Pond was absolutely perfect. From the way the staff warmly greeted us, to our precious server Liz, who was so thoughtful and kind, to the impeccable food, everything was beyond our expectations. It felt so wonderful to be there and we are so grateful to have had the experience that we did.

Really enjoyed my evening at North Pond. The service was excellent. Every course was well received. We were there for a little over two hours, but it didn't feel like it. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to go for a date or a group of friends. Very good experience and would go back.

I visited for the first time for a friend's birthday celebration and experienced top-notch service. They personalized the menu for the occasion (birthday guest’s name), a lovely touch. The tuna crudo was fresh with a zesty lemon taste, beautifully balanced. The crab beet dish was elegantly prepared and tasted delightfully healthy. The truffle mole wasn't to my taste, but the prawn was a standout. The hand crafted cocktails and a nice glass of wine were a perfect match for each course. For our main course, we ordered the wagyu with baked apple and cheddar polenta, which was an explosion of flavors. I almost forgot, the foie gras was exceptionally tender and tasted like butter. Unparalleled service, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable presentation made every dish memorable. Understandably deserving of its Michelin star, I'll definitely be back.
